Apple Account Region Changing Problems

We went to florida in march, setup an apple id over there and put some money into the account..
My dad now has $0.05 on his account which he has had since he put some on the account in florida.. Now he wants to change his account region to the uk, but it keeps telling him he has to spend the account balance before he can change it.. How do you spend $0.05??? & How can he change the account region???

The only way to get rid of that leftover balance is to contact iTunes Customer Service. They will zero it out, and then he can change country.

Owning 2 iphones with one Apple account has = Sync Problems. iTunes is thinking my old iphone 4 is the same phone as my iphone 5C. When I plugged in my iphone 5C it auto synced my 5C to iTunes and it wiped my 5C and restored it to the same content as is on my iPhone 4. This is a big problem since my 5 year old has been using the iPhone 4. It's all Mickey Mouse and Backyardigans. (Total photo/app/contacts loss)
I was able to update the 5C and restore from a 3 month old backup that is actually the content from the 5C but now when I plug in my 5C it wants to "setup as new phone" or "restore from backup" What's going on? I'm afraid to choose either option.

They were both displaying the same name in iTunes. I changed the name of the iPhone 4 before the 5C was plugged in but it still went ahead with syncing it to the 4's data.

As regardss to the iChat and iChat Sharing categorisation you have used.
In iChat 6 (lion) and Messages (Mountain Lion) the apps login to AIM and to Me.com
The Login to Me.com allows AIM to verify the password to the iCloud issued names (@me.com and @iCloud.com)
This "Dual" login also prevents the newer iCloud issued name from using this site
(it has extra Privacy settings that iChat can't access for your AIM and Aim valid Accounts)
Ignoring the @mac.com and MobileMe entries in the Add Account Screen in iChat and using the AIM one does not get around this issue.
AIM and @mac.com names still work in older versions of iChat.
The short answer is that iCloud issued Apple IDs do not work in iChat 5 or Earlier.

Apple Account Address Change

After downloading a free app, I got an email stating that my Apple account address had been changed. I did not change my address. I'm not sure if this message means my home address or my email address. Where do I log in to my Apple account and check my address? So far, I've only been able to reset my password.

You can view your postal and email address on your account by logging into it on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, or if using an iOS device by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then tapping 'view Apple id' on the popup.

I am a bit worried as yesterday I received an email saying my account details changed and that was for my billing address. I havent done this and so amazed, have a doubt on someone who is probably not in the country at the moment. just want to confirm if there is any way that i can trace the ip address or location that from where its been changed. (I have changed everything after this though but still feeling insecure)

ITunes Region-Changing Problem

Hi, I am a Windows-running iTunes 10 user in the US. I only make my iTunes store purchases from the US store, but oftentimes there are things not available in the store that are only available in other countries' stores. I can't buy the music since my billing address is US-based, but I do enjoy listening to the previews of songs. Anyway, a few days ago I was able to change the region from the US to, say, Japan, and then change it back to the US again if I wanted. However, recently when I tried clicking on a different country to change the region, iTunes would freeze, and I would have to force-quit it. I would then open iTunes again, only to find that the store's region had been set back to the default- the US store. Otherwise, the store ran normally and at its usual speed. This has only started today. How can I fix this problem? Is there anyone else who has been having it? Is there an update contained in a newer version of iTunes (I have all but the most recent update) that helps to cancel the freezing that occurs? Thanks.

Think there is a limit to the number of times you can change region as it is meant to be used when you actually move to a new country... You have probably hit it and now you most likely cant ever change it again (using the same account) as its designed not to allow what you have been doing :-) Sorry mate.

I used all my cretid carts but apple doesnt accept any of them. its says that my account has been accesed from a new computer (that is my new macbook air) and that i have to verify my payment informations. We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple. I don't know where you originally posted this question, but it's only just appeared in the Using iPad forum.
If you can't remember your password then you can reset it via http://iforgot.apple.com
If you can't get it reset via that site then you will have to contact Support in your country, they should be able to reset it for you (they can also reset your security questions if you've forgotten their answers).

TS2446 I recieved an email telling me my apple account had been suspended and it contained a link to click on. I am very vary of such emails and want to know if its genuine, especially as I have just logged into my apple account with no problems.

Would not touch that link for all the gold in Fort Knox. The fact that you independently were able to log in to your account and verify it is fine tells you this is just a scam.

Hi, I forgot my password of apple account and greater problem is, the email company (paran.com) is disappeared. yeah you are right, DISAPPEARED!
so I tried security question, but unfortunatly, i forgot this thing too. Is there any way to reset my apple account password and change email?
If I could send reset email to my alternate email address, i think i can reset my password.

First I'm trying to create a apple account in my ipad but it requires me to have a credit card which I don't have. So I tried to create a apple account in my laptop and i successfully created my apple account. The problem is, when I try to sign my newly created apple account to my ipad it takes me back to billing information (that requires me a credit card which I don't have) and the only checks are visa,Amex and master card. I have already checked the settings of my iPad if I signed in my account to App Store or itunes but then none of it is signed in. My ipad in new and I don't know what is the problem with it. Apple Account separation due to Divorce

I have just removed my ex-wife’s IPhone and IPad from my Apple account and changed my password. She has asked me to put my new password into her IPhone and IPad as they are both asking for a password to be entered. Should I do this for her so she can set-up a new account or will this mean she's still linked to my account with her own ID. I am trying to get rid of her and don't want any involvement with her in the future please advise? Thank you

She needs to go to Settings>iCloud and click 'Delete Account' on both devices (this will not delete the account from the server or your devices). She may need the password to do this, meaning that once done you will want to change it again. This will remove all your data from her devices.
She can then create a new Apple ID and enter her own data, being then completely separate from you.

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

Problem with apple account, change of nationality

Hi.
Here is the problem, I am french, & got an iTunes (US) card for $15. Got to spend it all, but now I have 1 cent left, & I can't change the nationality of my itunes account. I have a lot of free apps but also some I paid for, & i don't wanna lose them creating a new account. The problem is that I can't download french apps. I can't change my nationality while I still have money on my account. How can I get rid of this one cent??

If your iPhone needs your Apple ID and password to activate, then you will need to recover that Apple ID. If you've forgotten the password, you can reset it here;
