If you don't want to provide your Credit Card to your iTunes Account then you can buy a iTunes Gift Card of Minimum Value and Redeem the same and continue. The Other option is to Enter your Credit Card Details and then Remove it from your Account after your Account is Verified or you can create a Free Apple ID with New Email Address but to use it for Free you will have to Verify your Email address immediately after creating your Apple ID.

  • Adobe CC keep asking for credit card detail despite already have

I already have my credit card detail on my profile since I purchased CC and used for about a month.
But now when I launch any app, a window pop up and keep asking for my credit card detail.
I followed the link and found my credit card detail already exist. I try removing and adding again but this windows still persist and counting down.
How can I solve this? I have to use Photoshop everyday and can't work if it is disabled.
FYI, my credit card is valid and have enough balance and is the same one I used to purchased CC.

  • How do I know if the email from Apple asking for credit card information is genuine

Hi, I just received an email from Apple Worldwide telling me they've suspended my account momentarily until they can certify my details which includes wanting credit card info etc.  how do I know it's genuine?

    Hello pegglekatie,
This e-mail is not from Apple.

  • ITunes is asking for credit card details to download free apps

I've never had an apple product before so im new to this, but i now have an iPhone 3GS on IOS 4.1. I can't update the iPhone as i have it unlocked and it will remove the patch. I know that to download apps you need to put in card details, but i dont own a credit card. Apparently, it's supposed to give me an option not to select any card, which would allow me to download free apps but that option isnt there. I can't download any apps, not even free ones.

There are instructions on this page on how to create a new account (the instructions won't work with existing accounts) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534 e.g. select a free app in the store and click 'create Apple id' when 'buying' it

Eric... this is a user to user forum, not Apple.
Try this...  launch iTunes on your computer. From the menu bar click Store / Authorize This Computer
See if you can download apps on your iPhone now.
    If not, contact iTunes Billing:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/
Click: iTunes Store Account & Billing / Billing Inquiries / Email Us

  • I have to update all my application in my App Store however they are asking for the credit card details since this is to update only. Even to download some free games still they are asking my credit card details since it is a free. Please help me..

I have 11 updates in my App Store but every time I click the update they ask first my apply ID that would be fine but after they will ask my credit card details since this is only to update. Please help me.
Also, even I would like to download some games it's ok to ask for our Apple ID but in the second time they will ask for the credit card details. Please help me

My younger brother had the same problem. You have to go into settings, app store, details and then change your credit card details to none. If there is no none option, you will have to use a different apple id.

  • I cant download apps because my apple account is asking for credit card information, how do i resolve this problem?

i have an apple id. when i go onto app store and type it in it says that i have not used account in store and to rectify the problem. when i go in to do this it is asking me for credit card details, i dont have a credit card. what do i do? i want to download free apps. my phone is bill

In the US you can purchase 'iTunes' or 'App Store' cards for cash at many retail stores, and apply the code from the purchased (validated) card to add credit (money) to your Apple ID account for online music and App purchases. It is my understanding that such credits can be used for US purchases of any online content, including music, apps, and movie rentals. Are such cards sold in your area?

The post here by "TehYoyo" helped:
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4725517
I had to create new apple ID as mentioned there and then the stupid "None" option showed up.  Don't understand why this though!

  • I have created my apple id.Now when I m downloading any app it is asking my credit card details again forget that I hv made multiple payments while trying to download the app but the app is not getting downloaded. It is sowing the msg cant connect to itune

I have created my apple Id.Now when i m downloading any app it is asking my credit card details.I have made multiple payments while trying to download the app.But the app is not getting downloaded,it is showing the message cannot connect to the i tune store. What should i do to download the applications.

Ok, first of all don't keep purchasing the application, and if you've purchased it multiple times, contact iTunes billing department immediately.  They SHOULD only send one actual confirmation in and the rest of the "pending" charges will drop off (how long that takes is up to your credit card company, not iTunes), but you should be sure.
Second, sometimes when they are uploading a lot of new stuff at certain times it can cause the store to screw up, or any number of other reasons could be a factor why you can't connect to the iTunes store, be it on their end or on your end even.  Wait a little bit and try again via "Check for available downloads" or via your "Purchased" option on the iTunes store main page.
IF the app you purchased isn't there and you are sure your credit card was charged, then you will need to contact iTunes to find out why you can't download the app.

  • HT5035 Why, when trying to download a "free" app from iTunes after it say's, "this apple id hasn't been used with the iTunes store" does it keep asking for credit card info???

This is so frustrating! I have an itunes store account, etc. I lost all my info when I had to "restore" my iphone.
I wasn't able to do the "restore" until recently, gosh it was about 6mos or more ago when my iphone died...
So, as I get older I am having memory problems and haven't been able to access my itunes account.
Obviously when I did the "restore" on my iphone I lost all my info with it... So, wanting to use my iphone for
music, games, etc. I had to create a new apple id, fine, but when I wanted to download a "free" app it says
my apple id hasn't been used with itunes so it keeps asking for credit card info.
I do not remember ever having to have a credit card before!
I am so frustrated... First it was not being able to access my account then having to create a new one, fine!
But now I can't download "free" content without credit card information!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! UGH!!!!!!!
    Please, can anyone help...?!?
    Sincerely,
    "Distressed"

If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.

  • I have created an apple id on my pc but when i'm trying to download free apps from itunes store it's asking for credit card information which i don't have, that's why i went through apple support there i found "if you don't have credit card then click on

I have created an apple id on my pc but when i'm trying to download free apps from itunes store it's asking for credit card information which i don't have, that's why i went through apple support there i found "if you don't have credit card then click on none option but the problem is there isn't any none option so plzzzz some help me?

If you have an existing ID, & you don't want to use a credit card, you'll have to redeem an iTunes gift card. If you don't want to do that, you'll have to create a new ID by following the directions here, EXACTLY:

  • Why Apple apps keep asking for credit card for free app??? Not single of apps are free. So disappointed of Apple fan who likes iPhone a lot. Please fix it

Wby Apple apps keep asking for credit card? No app is working

Are they "Free" apps with In-App Purchases? If so, you need a credit card on file for the In-App Purchases.
