Apple broke my iPhone. What should i do?

After ugrading to iOS4, my iPhone 3G is almost useless. I was never advised of this before hand. Since my first post was "REMOVED" by Apple (instead of taking time to direct me to an intelligent answer to my problem...), here is my "technically" "acceptable" question for a discussion board:
How to either fix the slow-lag-sluginess and make my 400$ gadget at 100$/month usable again?
OR
How to back to OS3 without hassle in an Apple-technically easy and "acceptable" way?

Apple DOES participate, they removed my previous post on this and they monitor every post. They might try to help better by answering something more valuable like "we're working on it" instead of wasting time explaining the removal... So please, no need to lecture us on the purpose of this place.
Anyway, the "technical" point is this: even when asking for technical advice (the only way to stay alive here), all I'm served with, from otherwise very kind users, is hacking, jailwathever, complex methods, etc. I have never used such tactics and will not. All I want is a technical solution to my 3G being too slow since iOS4. This phone is an expensive gadget with an expensive monthly fee. It's suppose to work fine. Period. Obviously, there is no simple solution. Unless Apple says otherwise on their support site or a discussion forum member finds one out that is official and supported.
In the meantime, here's my own tech advice... (coupled with some I found here and around): It definitely works better when stopping these services: Spotlight, WiFi, notifications, geolocation, Bluetooth.
And the phone still rings... Hourray!
