Apple cant locate my iPhone 4 serial!
Hey guys, yesterday my friend gave me his iPhone 4 and wanted me to check if it was still under warrenty.
When i go to check if it does ( https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do ) Apple doesnt find anything on it. It just keeps loading. Nothing comes up about this iPhone 4. Might this iPhone be fake or something?
Serial starts with C39
Modle is MD127LL (Black iPhone, AT&T)
I know how to find the serial. My question is that when I go to check if the iPhone has warranty by putting the serial in Apples website, it does not show anything. It just stays loading nd nothing about the iPhone shows

You can't, not until it goes back online. You can try looking for it and/or calling your number to see if an honest person who found it would answer.
Place it in lost mode (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmfc0f0165). You will be notified by email if and when it goes back online. Then change your iCloud password to prevent someone who may find it from taking over your iCloud account: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2617.

Apple not recognize my iphone serial number
When i wanted to check my warranty status, i need to type in my serial number. I acquired it from my Packaging, but it says its not valid code.
Can anyone help me please?
Is this due to Apple, or something else?Are you sure you're typing in the Serial Number, and not the UPC code or something?
If you can turn on your iPhone, you can have it display its own serial number by doing the following:
From the Home screen, tap Settings > General > About and scroll down.

I tryed to get my iphone screen fixed but they man suggested i bring it to apple because hes unable to fix it because he might break the modem? if apple cannot fix it will they replace it ?
If your phone was "serviced" by a non authorized entity, Apple will not touch your phone. You have voided your warranty (if any). And they will not offer you a out-of-warranty replacement.

If it's dead (battery is dead) then you cannot locate the device. It must be turned on, connected to the internet and must not have been reset.

It sounds like you need to disable your iPhone remotely. I'm sorry to hear about your phone! The only way to do this with is Apple services is if you had Find my iPhone enabled. You have 2 options:
You can use this article to put the phone into Lost Mode and preserve your data on it, but prevent access to it:

Or you can just erase it remotely outright:

I just lost my ipod touch some how i retaced my steps all over but nothing. So i called apple to see why the moblieme.com cant locate it, a supporter said, "the ipod touch is more of a iphone lacking the antenna to be located on a celluar town", so i was hoping that if i gave them a serial number of the ipod touch that they can locate it when its pluged into computer? Can that be done?
As provided, this cannot be done, just as it cannot be done with any other music player/device.

I have 2 Company ipads. They were set up by someone who has left the company. His email address was deleted when he left - so we cannot send a recovery email request. He connected both iPads to 'find my iphone' - and we cant locate his mobile! help!
If you have the original receipts, you can take them to an Apple Store and they may be able to remove the activation lock. A good lesson learned to have an employee clear a device when leaving.

I have one apple ID for both my Iphone 4S and Ipad. My Ipad was stolen from me and when I checked the iCloud, it can only locate the Iphone 4S. How can I locate the Ipad device?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely. -

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required.

If you did not sign out of your Apple ID on your iPhone before creating a new one, then you will need to sign back in with your previous Apple ID and then sign out. If you do not remember your password and do not have access to the email account, then you can reset your password by using the security questions.

Thanks!You can only use Find My iPhone for accounts that you can log into. If you and your neighbor have different IDs and you only know your ID, than you can only track devices attached to your account.
