Apple care registration

Hi!
I have bought a Macbook in New York on september 22. I have Apple Care for it.
The instruction says, that I have to register it via internet to activate.
Go to apple.com, etc...Select the link Register your apple care agreement. Entering my Apple ID, pass... comes with the results:
"We're Sorry!
We do not have your data in our system. Please contact Apple for assistance. You can find the right phone number for your location by going to Contact Us"
How Can I register my AppleCare Protection Plan?
By the purchase I didn't have to fill out any form. I live outside of the USA, in Hungary.
Please anyone who know what to do contact me!
Thank you!

Before worrying about contacting Apple, try going to
http://www.apple.com/support/
In the lower right area of the page, under the heading About Your Support Coverage, you can type in your serial number and it will tell you how many days of warranty coverage you have.
Depending on where you bought the computer, you may not need to do anything else.

  • Problem with Apple Care Registration Process

My MacBook warranty will expire pretty soon. So, I ordered my Apple Care Protection Plan from Apple online store in Thailand since September 9, 2009. It arrived this morning (September 15, 2009).
When I try to register Apple care for my machine, Problem was starting. I do following on screen process, put my Macbook Serial No. and Apple Care Protection Plan registration No from package. Screen Show "We're sorry, but this registration number is not valid. Please check your information and try again."
I tried to contact Apple Care representative in Thailand. He was kindly enough to ask Apple online Store about this. He came back with answer that there are some problems about Apple care registration and I have to wait for week for response!!
Why product from apple online have this kind of problem? And customer have to wait for one week without knowing anything!!

You should be fine. The good thing is 1) you bought it from Apple and 2) you have contacted them about it before your initial warranty expired. Just be sure to follow up with them. If you haven't done so... you may want to give them a call back just to get a case number so you can have something to reference in case they don't get the problem sorted out before you warranty expires.

  • Apple Care Registration for Macbook Pro

Hi all, I bought a Apple care together with my MACbook Pro, but the thing is once I register it doesnt go through after "3. Provide your address information" item 1 and 2 is finished and has a check already but doesnt go through. No next button or ok button. But some details are seen at the left. The only thing clickable is the signout. I signed out. Then signed in again and it tells me I have no apple care registration. Any ideas? Thanks!

If you're still having issue and haven't received email confirmation trying ringing Apple support to register it with them:

how do I get the apple care registration number?

If you purchased your iPad from Apple directly and bought AppleCare at the same time, the plan will have automatically been applied and you won't have a separate number you need to register.

  • HT1863 where is my apple care registration number located on?

where is my apple care registration number located on?

If you purchased the physical AppleCare Plan box from the store, these instructions will help you find the registration number.
If you purchased AppleCare while buying an Apple product, then it is auto-registered to that Serial Number.  You can check the registration by going here and entering your serial number, IMEI, or MEID for your product.  You should get an email with the registration number, but if you do not, you can contact Apple to get it.

  • Apple Care Registration and My Country

    Hello All,
I have encountered a problem while attempting to register for my Apple Care Protection Plan. After signing on to my Apple ID, I must write out my Address, Province, Postal Code and Registration Numbers. However, it states that I am in the United States. However, I am not. Therefore, my Postal Code will not work, for it expects an American "Zip" Code" instead. At first I thought that I might have registered my Apple ID incorrectly in the first place. But, I checked my Apple ID and it states that I am in Canada.
    Any ideas, Thx

I'm having exactly the same problem. If I have to type all my details in again, i'll scream!!
I reported this to apple via their feedback form and was told to make sure I had registered the macbook pro and this should swap the country over to mine (UK).
However, it hasn't. The e-mail says ring your local support office.

  • Let me know apple care registration number

please let me know my apple care registratiion number

Why do you need it?   You are running an old OS so any Guarantee or Apple care service would have expired by now.
If it were the serial number, that would be on the box it was supplied in.
If you are planning to sell, read the link below which explains recent changes in registration practices.

  • Apple Care registration page does not support Safari 3 for Leopard

I bought the apple care for my imac and was surprised to find Apple does not support their own browser for the online registration. I had to use firefox instead
    Visit
    http://www.apple.com/uk/support/register/
on your leopard mac and click continue.
    I then got.
For the best experience, please use a supported web browser.
    Mac:
    - Safari 2.x
    - Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.2 or later
    - Firefox 1.0 or later.
    Windows:
    - Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
    - Firefox 1.0 or later.

When you see this path:   /Library   That is your root Library.
    Open a Finder window.
Select MacintoshHD in the Sidebar on the left then open the LIbrary folder then the Application Support folder, then InputManagers folder, the Receipts folder.
For this path:  ~/Library/Application Support  (your Home library)
The Tilde character ~ represents your Home folder.
From that same Finder window select your Home folder in the Sidebar. It has a small house icon. Open the Library folder then the Application Support folder.
Move all the Conduit/CT associated files you posted above to the Trash.
    Try Safari.
I've yet to find the launchAgents.plist file in any Safari crash report in years. I don't think that's a problem.
Another way to find files on your hard drive is to go to your Finder.
From the menu bar at the top of your screen click Go / Go to Folder.
Example. Type in:  /Library/ApplicationSupport   click Go
Or type in:  ~/Library/Application Support   click Go

  • Apple Care - Registration in Progress

Brought Apple Care, registered, still shows as "in progress" after 24 hours.  Called apple, they said things look fine, can take up to three days to generate a contract number.  Just apprehensive because regular ipad warranty expires tomorrow.  Just wondering if others experienced same thing.

Taking several days for registration is not unusual. As long as you have a receipt showing you purchased AppleCare within the warranty period and have confirmed that Apple has a record of you registering the plan, as seems to be the case, you should be fine. If you didn't note the name of the person you talked to and the time and date of the call, you might want to call back and get someone to verify that the plan has indeed been registered within the required time frame and make a note of the details of the call - get the rep to email you a verification if you can - just in case a question were to arise later.
    Regards.

  • Apple Care registration is not possible because Zip Code

    Hi support people,
I'm trying to register my applecare for my macbook pro, and the form is asking my address's zip code. Bu I'm in Colombia and we don't have implemented that system. Normally we use 11001000, but it doesn't work.
    Cordially,
    Luis Edo. Cortes

    Hi,
The applecare was bought in Bogotá, Colombia. The URL for registration is www.apple.com/la/acec.
Now the site shows me that I have to contact, and worst!, I have to go personally to an apple's local vendor.
    Thanks.
    Cordially,
