Apple colorSync utility, popped up on start .Help!

For the first time since purchase a year ago I opened up with a "ColorSync utility" window message?, after folowing "Verify" and "Repair" I was presented with the following messages:
Header message digest (MD5) is missing.
The file is locked. Could not be fixed.
Is this repairable or replacable?

I have the exact same issue:
Searching for profiles...
Checking 63 profiles...
/System/Library/CoreServices/Resources/Profiles/HD 709-A.icc
Header message digest (MD5) is missing.
The file is locked. Could not be fixed.
/System/Library/CoreServices/Resources/Profiles/SD 170M-A.icc
Header message digest (MD5) is missing.
The file is locked. Could not be fixed.
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Profiles/TotalInkPreview.icc
Tag 'pseq': Required tag is not present. Could not be fixed.
Repair done - 0 out of 3 profiles fixed.
I don't know if this is related by my 2011 Macbook Pro 17" inch (AMD Radeon HD 6750M) has serious issues with the display.  I have an appointment at the apple store later this week, I will post an update if they figure it out (and also this color sync issue)
