Apple Commercial Songs?

Hello everyone! Does anyone know a site where I can go to find out all the songs used in all Apple Commercials? I love the songs they use and would like to download them from iTunes. Just like the new iPod Nano commercial has the 1234 song by Feist but what about previous iPod Commercials and just Apple commercials in general? Like iMac, iPhone, Etc.
Thanks everyone!

Awesome thanks! That helps for the iPod commercial songs. Anyone know of any other site where they list others songs used for other Apple products such as iPhone, Apple TV, Etc.?

  • IPod Nano 4G Skips During Playback with Apple Lossless Songs

My iPod Nano 4th Generation has been consistently skipping a brief portion of music about every 5th Apple Lossless song during playback. I've been working unsuccessfully to resolve this issue with tech support and fixed the problem when I disabled the energy level setting in the playback menu. While this is a hit to battery life, the skipping no longer occurs. Hoping that this issue is permanently resolved in an upcoming software update.

    Hi,
I brought my ipod yesterday and had the exact same issue. it would skip certain songs frequently and was extremely frustrating. Im not sure if this is the case for all ipods (i have an ipod nano 16Gb 4th gen, with firmware 1.0.4), but i fixed my issue in a series of steps. Im not sure which exact part of my method did the job, but here it is:
    1. plugged it into iTunes and clicked "restore" under the tab "summary". WARNING: This will delete everything, and restore factory settings. im not sure if this is necessary, but youll need to delete the songs which skip anyway.
    2. pressed the eject button IN ITUNES (under "devices", and next to your ipod icon), ejecting the ipod. wait for the ipod to specify when it is ready for it to be unplugged. proceed to unplug said ipod.
    3. Choose the language of your ipod, and go into playback settings and (settings/playback or something) and turn OFF "shake" and "energy saver"
    4. Plug your ipod into your computer again and drag all the songs onto your ipod using itunes.
    5. after it has finished copying, WAIT until the ipod no longer says "synching", and until it says "connected"
    6. Press the eject button IN ITUNES (again, under devices, and next to your ipod icon)
    7. Eject when the ipod says it is ok to do so.
As i said, im not sure which part of the method did it for me, but i think it might be the way in which i was ejecting it. Before i was ejecting the ipod on my desktop. I think it is important to eject it using itunes. Anyway this fixed my ipod. Im not sure if it will do the same to yours, but if its making you very angry (to say the least) like it made me, its worth a try i guess. I would appreciate it if people let me know if this works.

  • I need to adjust the tempo of a commercial song imported from iTunes

I need to reduce the tempo of a commercial song which I imported to GB from iTunes by ~6%. Can I do this in GB, and if so, how?

If you need a precise value, I suggest using an audio editor (e.g. Audacity, which is free) to achieve this - you can add numerical values there. If you use GB, you can only adjust the tempo in integer steps, and the percentage value depends on the tempo you start with.
What you could do in GB is the following:
    • set the song's tempo to 100
    • import your audio file
    • turn the orange region into a purple one and check "follow tempo & pitch"
    • set the song's tempo to 94.

  • Multiple Apple IDs = Songs Not Playing on my iPhone?

Due to multiple Apple IDs, some of my purchased songs won't play on my iPhone. Is there a way to sync them so they all play?  I bought them, afterall...

Not knowing exactly what you tried
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • Older songs cannot be accessed due to a previous Apple ID than that used now. Can I change my old Apple ID songs to my new Apple ID so they will be authorized to play?

My daughter started her itunes several years ago with a Apple ID(e-mail). Then she changed computers and started another Apple ID(e-mail). She has since aquired many more songs and videos. Her itunes shows old and new songs, but all the ones that were aquired with her original account cannot be accessed. The promt says they are not authorized. Can these old songs be authorized with her new Apple ID so they can be accessed and solve this problem forever?
    Thanks!

If your iCloud account is the same Apple ID as the one you've changed then you will have to sign out completely (on an iPhone it's Settings>iCloud and click 'Delete account' - silly labeling: it will not delete the account from the server, only from the phone). Then you can log in with the new ID.
If your iCloud account is using a different ID from the one you've changed you can't change it to use the same login. You can change the login, provided it isn't an @icloud.com, @me.com or @mac.com address, at http://appleid.apple.com

  • Home Sharing iTunes to Apple TV, Songs Buffer Slowly

    Hello,
I need help I'm stuck in a dead end right now. Whenever I try to play music from my iTunes to my Apple TV (I believe it's the newest one in a small black box) through Home Sharing, the songs tend to buffer for a pretty long time. Even when I play an album, getting the next song to play takes a while to buffer. I know for a fact that it's not my wi-fi signal strength, my internet speed, and connecting the Apple TV through an ethernet cable makes no difference at all. I've also went into my router and changed some configerations as well by turning off firewall and adding Home Sharing as a virtual server, so it will bypass any interference. I'm using a Belkin N600 router by the way.
Also, what I found interesting is that, when I configure my router, enabling IPv6 seems to make playing songs from my iTunes to my Apple TV through Home Sharing extremely fluid and seemless. Yet, the downside seems to be whenever I want to play a song from my iPhone through airplay, the song will be come extremely choppy. When I disable IPv6, playing songs from my iPhone become seemless, yet Home Sharing seems to take forever to buffer the song.
Anyone have any ideas, or have similiar problems?

    Update: I found the problem.
All I had to do is go in my router and put these ports and TCP/UDP into the virtual server list on my Belkin router:
-TCP port 123 is used to communicate with a network time server.
-TCP port 3689 is used to communicate with iTunes while using the iTunes Library Sharing feature.
-UDP port 5353 is used by Apple TV for automatically finding computers with iTunes on your network using Bonjour.
I believe that many people experiencing home sharing problems is due to their router. Especially Belkin routers. It seems to cause conflict with many Apple TV users who want to use Home Sharing when restarting the computer and Apple TV doesn't suffice. The way that the router talks to the computer and talks to Apple TV, the router can't seem to bridge the connects together. For me at least, by opening these ports in my router, everything seems to run fluid and no more laggy, glitchy, or dropped songs playing via home sharing.
    Also: turn off IPV6

  • Apple TV song streaming interrupted, very slow sync with keynote

When I try to play a song or a playlist from iphone (4S and 5)  or ipad (mini) via Airplay on Apple Tv, the music is interrupted several times, sometimes the first track, sometimes after 3 track, no rules. Wifi signal is good.
Other issue with Keynote on the iPad. I am trying to mirror a deck but it is very slow, I have to wait 2 to 3 sec between each slide
    can someone help me?
    thank you

Thanks for the reply. I used iStumbler on the MacBook Pro and could see three other networks besides my own, and they were all on Channel 11. Mine is on Channel 6 and, given there's no overlap between channels that are separated by 5 channels or more, there should be no interference.
However, the Apple TV reports more channels than iStumbler does and there's no way to know what channel they're on. (Hmmmm, maybe I should move the Mac to the vicinity of the ATV 2.)
However, my local network is involved when the MacBook Pro connects to the internet - I'm using Wi-Fi, not Ethernet - so, if the MacBook Pro can upload at 1MB/sec. to the internet (and that's throttled), why is it uploading at 50-100KB/sec. to the ATV 2?

  • Can I Transfer Apple iTunes Songs to Windows iTunes

    Short version of story.
Son receives iPod Nano for Christmas.
Installs iPod on Grandma's MAC and downloads songs.
Family returns home to Windows PC world.
Can we somehow recover Apple songs on iPod before we restore the iPod to the Windows format?

If your iPod is formatted for Mac it won't run natively on a PC because Windows operating systems don't recognize Mac OS-formatted disks (HFS or HFS Plus formats): How to determine your iPod's disk format
There are third party programs that will allow you to use a Mac formatted iPod on Windows. XPlay for instance gets good reviews and has the added functionality to let you copy your songs back to iTunes. Once you have your songs saved to the PC you can go ahead and restore the iPod on your PC and reformat it for Windows. You can purchase XPlay at this link: XPlay

  • If i sign up for itunes match with one apple id can i get the other apple id songs

if i sign up for itunes match with one apple id can i get the other apple id songs

I'm assuming you mean can you access the purchased songs from another apple id.  No you cannot.  You will need to download these on another computer and then transfer the hard files into your itunes library that you are using icloud with and let icloud match them.
You cannot access two different id's from one match account.  Also, if you sign out of the match account that you are signed into to another to download purchases you will not be able to sign back into your match account for three months.  So do not do this either.  Just use a friends computer or another way.

  • HT5085 Will apple loseless songs files be compatible and readable with iTunes match?

To keep best cd quality of my cd, I have uploaded all my songs in apple loseless on my computer
I would like to know if it would then be compatible and readable for those loseless songs files using iTunes matches on my iPad?
    Thank you

It will be compatible in that iTunes Match will look at your computers Apple Lossless versions, and will then send AAC 256Kbps versions to your iPad. It will not send Apple Lossless copies to your iPad (or even another computer). AAC 256Kbps versions are fine for an iPad and Apple Lossless versions would very rapidly completely fill an iPad.

  • Vista64bit Apple Lossless song skiping

iPhone has been skipping while in the middle of playing a song to the next song and tagging partially played song as played. It has bee getting progressively worse. Called support and with through all steps but keep happening. Went to Genus bar and iPhone was replaced thinking it was hardware. Started happening again and went to level 2 tech support. I had done a thorough job of troubleshooting and eliminating all other possibilities like corrupt files. Tech suggested that I sync my iPhone with my 32bit XP laptop (used before 64bit driver). Now it works perfectly so there is a problem with the Vista 64bit iPhone/iTunes driver. It may also be related to Vista64bit/Apple Lossless (all my music is lossless). I know that Vista64bit is near the bottom of Apple's to do list but is there any chance of having this repaired before the next update (and the 2ed gen iPhone that I'm already in line for)?
Also this is iPhone specific because my Nano and iPod continue to work fine.

    Jason,
As stated had level 2 tech support and did lots of troubleshooting.
    Latest iTunes/iPhone software
Have almost 400GB of lossless music (have well over 2500 CDs) and use my PC as a 24/7 home music server with Airports. All tracks play fine and also play fine on my Nano and iPod.
    <edited by host>
Since it is random (it may play 15 songs before a skip or it my skip 5 in a row) to better test lossless/64bit driver I would need to encode several songs in AAC then load them on my iPhone with the Apple lossless versions to have a controlled test. This would be time consuming and I'm also obsessive about maintaining accurate play counts/play date info. Have emailed my tech contact saying I would do this but have not heard back.
Does Apple tech support monitor this board?

  • 7.0.1 "Upgrade" = Dropped Frames. Where is the Apple commercial guy now?

I've wasted 3 hours of my morning trying to correct this issue so far, so any help is appreciated. I "upgraded" to FCS 7.0.1. Now, I can't play more than 5 seconds of video without getting the dropped frames error pop-up. I've tried re-rendering, etc. but to no avail. I have G-speed drives, 2.8 MHz quad-core, and AJA Kona 3 (driver 7.1) card, and it worked fine with the older FCS software. The problem only started after the "upgrade".
I have a problem with Apple working on so many fringe FCS features when they don't have the core functionality under control. Seems a bit idiotic to me as a medical doctor (kind of like trimming a patient's fingernails instead of working on their cardiac arrest). Even the search window isn't showing correctly in this forum (look in upper right corner) on Safari. Amazing...

Went through the entire process with AJA Kona 3 tech support (great people who actually know their product line). It is definitely a problem with the FCP 7.0 software. Apple has a great idea = sell you buggy software and then charge you money to talk to them about it! Fantastic!
When I re-render a segment, it will play without dropped frames the first 2 or 3 times, but then reverts to giving a dropped frame error.
Again, would be great to see Apple fix the core functionality of FCS (like not losing track of a music clip, or making sure the motion tab window refreshes properly when grabbing/moving an opacity edit point) instead of the silly fringe functions.
I'll try the fresh install and then re-render all my high-def work. Always great to lose 2 days (will take at least that long to re-render) after paying $299 for an "upgrade" from Apple. Unhappy New Year.

  • If Apple stamps their apps with apple ID's, why not do the same to songs?

You can't share apps and update them without having that person's (the one who originally bought the app) apple ID+password, why is apple leniant about doing this with their songs and so forth?

Apps were created specifically for the App Store, which is owned and managed by Apple.
Songs are the property of those record companies or artists that recorded them, completely separate from the iTunes Store. Apple simply has contracts with those companies that allow for the distribution of those songs. You can sort of think about how you can find song downloads all over the internet and in things like Frostwire, but you'll never find Apps in there.
