Apple doesn't give guarantee for my Ipad

I bought an Ipad in January 2013 at Apple Store in south center 801 south center mall tukwila wa 98188 and actived in Jan 2013.
Last month,  my ipad is broken and cannot start up, so i brought it to the Apple Store but they said this is the stolen Ipad (???) and didn't give any guarantee, after that, they said they would believe if i show them the Bill,but the Bill was lost because i bought it 10 months ago, it is a long time to keep the bill. What can i do now? Who protect my rights?

    Apple's recommendations are usually hardware and software related. How to charge the battery, the benefits of backing up, transferring purchases, and things like that.
    I have never seen Apple officially recommend any third party accessory and I doubt that they ever will do so. Using a screen protector is up to the individual. I have always used a screen protector of some type on all of my iDevices. I have somewhat oily skin and I would rather trash and have to clean a screen protector than have to keep up with cleaning the glass.
    I have an iPad 3 and I have it encased in an OtterBox Defender case with a built in screen protector. My iPad 3 is in pristine condition - screen and back. My OtterBox Defender has taken quite a beating however, and I prefer that the case take the abuse and not the iPad!

  • Apple just upgraded the processor for new iPad

    I've just noticed that apple has upgraded the processor for the new ipad( not ipad mini)!
    Now I feel like an idiot buying the new ipad when it came out...

  • Is there a known issue with the apple app store update page for th ipad?

    Is anyone else getting the ipad app store update page problems?
    When i go to that page on my ipad i get an error " cannot connect to itunes store " but im allowed to still browse the store. Just cant update my items through he update page..... I do have full bars on my wifi :)

    I'm not sure that either of these will work, but you can give them a try.
    Sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
    Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again.
    You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.

    I don't think that this will be the issue - but it can't hurt to look and make sure.
    Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first.

  • Apple doesn't take responsability for the 3G upgrades. I can't work with it

    I updated my iPhone 3G like most of the people having an iPhone 3G, but now it runs very very slowly. I use it at work, but now it's impossible. I called Apple, and the said me it was out of guarantee. Nothing to do. So they "broke" my phone and I cannot go back. Is this legal? When they launched the upgrade it was 3G compatible, but it isn't. I am really disapointed with Apple.

    I tried everything to get my iPhone 3G up to speed. First the double hard reset, the the system restore, then the restore as new device. These all made the iPhone work better for a short while and then it would start to slow down again.
    Finally I went to Settings, General, Home Button Spotlight Search and unchecked all selections except Contacts, Applications, and Music.
    My IPhone works great agin.

  • Wireless setup wizard on hp 7410 all in one doesn't give promt for next step in setting up wireless

    The printer is connected to a computer (windows xp) through usb I want to enable the wirless for my laptop (windows 7). I ran the wireless setup wizard and it says searching for available networks then goes back to the home screen. I ran the network utility and the printer doesn't show up but the printer is shown under devices and printers when I click start. The wirless router is a D-Link dir-815 wireless N dual band router. it is 802.11g and a compliant.

    Uh, this is a wireless printer, so let's set it up that way:  
    - Disconnect the USB cable to the printer.
    - in Start > All Programs > Hewlett-Packard> [your printer model] > Add a Device.
    - Choose to add a Wireless or Network device.
    - At one point in the installation it will ask you to TEMPORARILY connect a USB cable.  Do so only after it asks.
    - Remove the USB cable when it asks.
    Now that the printer is wirelessly connected to your network you can do the same procedure with other computers on the network, only you will NOT use the USB cable to communicate network settings to the printer - that has already been done with the first computer.

  • Is my apple ID password my passcode for my iPad after ios 7?

    I have recently updated my iPad to the new os, (ios 7). When it turned on again it said I must input a passcode but I have never set one. I am woondering if it could be my apple ID password.
    On a side note, I have also tried to reset my iPad but it won't let me due me needing to enter a passcode.
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    I am having exactly the same issue and tearing my hair out. I never set up a passcode, yet it has locked me out and insists on a passcode. I have tried all combinations and none were accepted, so I am also stuck.
    Itunes says it can't sync with it because it has been disabled. I followed online instructions to reset the IPAD by unplugging from computer and turning it off then using button below and plug it back in, restore factory settings etc which was another 1 hour downloading proces, but it made no difference, it still wants a passcode. AAARGH has anyone had any success gettting theirs unlocked? Mine is brandnew and never even been used...

    So some how iDVD is missing from my MacBook Pro which is purchased in Oct 2012. Back in the day I would have just put the old install disc in, re-installed iDVD and case closed.

    If you have to purchase an iLife disc in order to obtain the iDVD application remember that the iLife 11 disc only provides  themes from iDVD 5-7.  The Software Update no longer installs the earlier themes nor do any of the iDVD 7 updaters available from the Apple Downloads website contain them. 
    Currently the only sure fire way to get all themes is to start with the iLife 09 disc:

    Why does Apple doesn't give any attention to Ipad 2 ?!  , its still an ipad though their specs is already behind the latest but we are still using for it . Can you give more improve for it , so that we can still enjoy how Ipad 2 works .

    An iPad 2 can run the latest version of iOS 7.1 and run any of the apps in the iTunes store. However, compared to newer iPads, it's not as fast and the display is not quite as shary as the retina display. There is no way to update the hardware specifications.

    Dear friends,
    A month ago, I bought an iPad 4 for my 4-year-old daughter. I have used my Apple ID and bank account to buy Apps to install on the iPad. Now I do not want to use my Apple ID and bank account for this iPad (but I will use them for my iPhone 5). I live far away from my daughter and I have bought enough educational Apps for her. If my Apple ID and bank account are being used for this iPad, my daughter may click commercial Apps and that will be trouble for me.
    Now I want to use my wife's email address as a new Apple ID (she does not have a bank account, but she has her own laptop).
    Can I still keep the purchased Apps on the iPad for my daughter? How can I change the Apple ID  and stop my bank account for this iPad?
    I am not a technician and English is not my mother tongue, so please use simple language when you give me instructions.

    Try getting a credit card from the same people who issued the debit card. If I read the home sharing paper properly after your set it up with the credit card you can change the payment method back to debit.

  • Apple Configurator: The configuration for your iPad could not be downloaded from organisation . Invalid Profile.

    Good afternoon,
    I am really struggling with a deployment of 10 iPad Minis.
    The iPads are brand new and I have downloaded and installed Apple Configurator onto our Apple Air laptop.
    I have configured Apple Configurator in the following way:
    Under Prepared:
    Settings
    Name is ticked with 'Number sequentially starting at 1'.
    Supervision is ticked to on, Allow devices to connect to other Macs is also ticked.
    Update iOS is set to "When update is available". Erase before installing is ticked.
    Restore is set to "Don't restore backup".
    No profiles are listed in the profiles section.
    Apps
    I have copied in some appropriate apps.
    Setup
    Skip: Restore, Passcode, Siri, Touch ID, Apple Pay, App Analytics all ticked.
    I have not configured Device Enrollment.
    In "Configure Settings..." Device Enrollment is not configured.
    After preparing my iPads, they all connect and prepare correctly. When I select any iPad and unlock it, the following happens:
    Hello, slide to setup
    Select language, UK selected
    Select Your Country or Region, UK selected
    Choose a Wi-Fi Network, correct network selected and authenticated
    Location Services: Enabled
    Configuration, "<organisation> can automatically configure your iPad". Apply Configuration or Skip Configuration. Apply selected.
    Configuration, "The configuration for your iPad could not be downloaded from <organisation>. Invalid Profile.
    Apple Configurator is showing no errors, have tried Supervise>Reset, makes no difference.
    Have skipped configuration and erased iPad before trying again, same problem.
    Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

    You can create an iTune and App Store account without credit card details
    1. Sign out of current Apple ID if you are sign-in to one (important)
    2. Go to App Store and select a free app
    3. Tap INSTALL APP
    4. Create New Apple ID
    5. Confirm Your Country
    6. Agree with Terms and Conditions
    7. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (you must create a new Apple ID; don't use your old Apple ID)
    8. Create and answer your secret question
    9. Select NONE for Payment Method
    10. Fill in Billing Address
    11. Submit application for new Apple ID
    12. Wait for verification email
    13. When email arrive, verify your account
    14. Start downloading your free apps

  • Anyone know if there will be a Garageband app for the ipad?

    I'd buy one today if I could use it with Garageband. The flexibility of being able to take it anywhere and record/edit tracks, considering it's size and the excellent screen, would make it worth the money to me.
    Just wondering if anyone has seen/heard anything about such an app. There would have to be a way to use the USB port as an input, but other than that, you could save the files the your mac but be able to move it around so easily...would be great.

    Apple has not announced GarageBand for the iPad nor anything similar but that doesn't mean that they won't release something in the future. Meanwhile, there are companies like Sonoma WireWorks and Krasidy that are already producing multitrack recording apps for the iPad or iPhone. Sonoma has a version specifically for the iPad, so that might be worth checking out.
    I haven't seen anything that uses the Dock connector to expand the input capabilities, but there may be something out there, or the new SDK may allow such a thing in the future.
