Apple Feedback Assistant is gone!

I recently enrolled my iPad for the iOS Beta program and updated it to iOS 8.3 Beta 1.
For some reasons I had to do a system recovery, but now my Feedback Assistant app is gone. I can see in settings that my iPad still runs on iOS 8.3.
How can I get the Feedback Assistant back?

Appears that Apple's pushing the iPhone 4S and diverting everyone to their ad page.

How do I get a shipping version of OS X back on my Mac?
To get a shipping release of OS X on your Mac, you can simply install the final version of the software you are testing when it appears in Software Update.
How do I leave the OS X Beta Seed Program?
To leave the program, visit the Leave Program page and follow the instructions to remove your Apple ID and your computers from the OS X Beta Seed Program. This will stop pre-release updates from appearing in the Mac App Store on your computers.
You only need to do more than you already have, if you'd rather not see future pre-release updates.

  • Feedback assistant wrong language

I just installed the OS Yosemite on my computer and when it start the Feedback assistant display a wrong language i just want to know how i can change it cause i don't speak rusian... and i can't select all the words to know what does they mean. Ty.
And it would be cool if apple starts a community for Yosemite

Well i try that way too, but it didn't work. The only way i find to fix it was:
    -System preferences
-Language and regions (Blue Flag icon)
and there will be all the Languages preloaded by the OS on the left side in my case i delete rusian and portuguese as javierfajnolla but it didn't work so:
-Place the english on top of spanish by dragging it.
-Once u do this it change the main Language on the computer and it restart
-Once the computer turns on the problem should be solved. i haven't try to change it again to Spanish cause both works good for me but u can try.
I hope you guys can solve ur problems too.
    Good night.

  • How do i remove feedback assistant?

I've been testing OSX 10.9.3 untill the shipping version of the system, which is now available to everyone. Now I've left the beta seed program, but my feedback assistant is still here on my mac and I can't uninstall it.
Can someone tell me how to remove it from my Mac?

There's no need to, you can just remove the Dock icon as with any other.
If you feel that you must : Command Click Feedback Assistant in the Dock & a Finder window should open, with it selected.
    OS X Beta Program FAQ
How do I leave the OS X Beta Program?
To leave the program, visit the Leave Program page and follow the instructions to remove your Apple ID from the OS X Beta Program. If you wish to return to a shipping version of OS X, we recommended that you wait until the final version of OS X Yosemite is available. OS X Yosemite is coming this Fall, and it will be a free upgrade that you can install over your current installation. If you must remove the beta software from your computer, you will need to erase, install, and restore the Time Machine backup of Mavericks that you created before you installed the OS X Yosemite Beta. Any changes to your files and documents since you installed the OS X Yosemite Beta will not be preserved when restoring your Mavericks backup, so be sure to copy any new or changed files before you begin restoring from your Mavericks backup.

  • Yosemite 10.10.3 Public Beta Feedback Assistant Attachment

Yosemite 10.10.3 Public Beta (14D105g) has come out and I downloaded. I tried to fill the Feedback Assistant with Auto Generate sysdiagnose file from System Diagnostic on the Feedback Assistant application.  However, when I click Submit, it says that one of the attached files exceed 100MB in which the limit of the file being sent.  The sysdiagnose file that I got from Auto System Diagnostic is 108MB and I can't sent any Feedback.  Is there a way to overcome this because I can't send feedback without sysdiagnose file.  And the file is exceed the maximum size of file attached.

You can't discuss betas on this forum...

  • OSX Beta testing and Feedback assistant....

I was in Mavericks OS X Beta Program and today I had to update my Feedback Assistant to Yosemite F.A. .... but I still dont have Yosemite to give feedback about... Am I missing something? Also checked AppStore updates... nothing there. Any comments?
Is there Yosemite available for downlod to prior Beta testers or only to developers?

Perhaps you missed the bolded bit below from the public beta program page?:
    How can I participate?
To join the OS X Beta Program, just sign up using your Apple ID. When the beta software is ready, you’ll receive a redemption code that will allow you to download and install OS X Yosemite Beta from the Mac App Store. Then go ahead and start using it. When you come across an issue that needs addressing, report it directly to Apple with the built-in Feedback Assistant application. "

iOS 7 devices need iTunes 11.1 or newer to sync.  Depending upon your computer and the OS it is running, you may not be able to upgrade to iTunes 11.1 based on the requirements for iTunes 11.1.  What computer and OS are you running your iTunes on?  From the iTunes download pages I see the requiorements are:
    Macintosh System Requirements
Mac computer with an Intel Core processor
OS X version 10.6.8 or later
    400MB of available disk space
Broadband Internet connection to use the iTunes Store
    Windows System Requirements
PC with a 1GHz Intel or AMD processor and 512MB of RAM
Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later, 32-bit editions of Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
64-bit editions of Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 require the iTunes 64-bit installer
    400MB of available disk space
Broadband Internet connection to use the iTunes Store

  • Giving Apple Feedback on poor quality printing of iPhoto Books

    Hi,
I just filled out the feedback form to let Apple know I am not happy with quality of new printing on iPhoto Books. As I know I am not alone, and many people on this board have posted their frustration and disappointment, please post and give Apple feedback so we can hopefully get better books.

  • My feedback button is gone

Using Firefox 4.0 Beta 11. My feedback button has gone. I have found some other ways to submit feedback, but I thought I would let you know. I remember seeing it in the past, but I can't say how long it has been gone.

Do you still have the Feedback extension installed (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) ?
If not then reinstall the "Test Pilot" extension:

  • By mistake uninstalled feedback assistant. How can i reinstall it?

    Hello,
By mistake i uninstalled the feedback assistant. Is it possible for me to download it again?
(i have OS X Yosemite for a Macbook Air Mid 2012 11 inch)

Yep, would have to be Pacifist or a hold c and boot off the installer disk and a reinstall of OS X 10.6 over the installed 10.6.x version to get TextEdit back.
Shouldn't affect your files or third party programs, but that's what backups are for.

However on my Mac laptop the iCloud still shows my old ID, so there is no synching of documents going on between the iPad and the laptop. What do I do?

On the mac's system preferences: click the iCloud icon, then "sign out" button.  After, you can enter the new ID.

  • HT4557 I have iPad 2 and trying to connect to apple tv. Have gone into videos and music and put in my apple id and password but won't work. Pick up my PC fine though

I have iPad 2 and trying to connect to apple tv. Have gone into videos and music and put in my apple id and password but won't work. Pick up my PC fine though.
Any ideas? Have tried usual switching on and off again but no change

Here’s what you need to do to turn on AirPlay Mirroring on your iPad 2:
    – Have iOS 5 installed on your iPad 2
    – Make sure your Apple TV software is up-to-date. You can check for updates on the Apple TV by going to Settings > General > Update Software.
    – Have your TV turned with Apple TV active and showing.
    – Double-tap the home button on the iPad to bring up the Multitasking Bar.
    – Swipe to move to the left of the Multitasking Bar, so you can see the set of controls just to the left of the volume adjustment slider.
    – The button just to the right of the Fast Forward button – the one that has a rectangle with a solid, upward-facing arrow in it – is the AirPlay button. Tap to switch from iPad to Apple TV.
    – Once you do that you’ll see the Mirroring section appear just below the entry for Apple TV. Just tap to turn that On, and the iPad 2 will immediately begin mirroring to your TV screen.

  • Just sent apple feedback

Just thought I'd share this so it can be discussed. I'm sure lots of this has been discussed here at length but this is just my current brain dump after a couple of weeks. And rather than just posting it here.. I actually set it to apple feedback (http://www.apple.com/feedback/aperture.html)
    snip! -----
    Hi,
Been using aperture for a little while now and I'm loving it but I've got a few ideas I'd like to pass on:
    - a "contact sheet" exporter would be really great. Specify resolution, number of rows and columns and format and you get 1 or more images as a contact sheet. I'm doing this with screen grabs at the moment.
    - it would be nice to have variable zoom in the viewer. I want to zoom in a bit, not all the way, sometimes.
    - it would be nice to have a two-click version of the patch tool like in PS and others. alt-click is source, next click is destination. Right now I have to keep moving things manually after Aperture's placed the source circle for me.
    - an SDK for writing my own adjustment plugins would be awesome
    - being able to specify the straight line by clicking/dragging in the viewer would make the rotate tool much better. eg. drag out a line that you want to be straight and Aperture figures out the rest
    - it would be great to be able to specify multiple external applications. I use different ones depending on the situation.
    - it would be great to be able to have multiple aperture libraries open at the same time
    - in addition to hilighting the hot areas, highlighting excessively dark areas would be good too.
    - being able to change the adjustments HUD to a horizontal congfiguration
    - the ability to restrict a particular adjustment to a region of the image (eg a spline shape/painted mask). LightZone is a good example of this.
    24" Intel iMac   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    - it would be nice to have a two-click version of the
patch tool like in PS and others. alt-click is
source, next click is destination. Right now I have
to keep moving things manually after Aperture's
placed the source circle for me.
What do you mean, why do you have to move the source
    circle?
The Patch tool takes a little bit of the image from one place(the source) and copies it to another place (the destination). By default when you use the patch tool it puts the source an destination quite far apart from each other (looks like a barbell). I always have to move the source circle around (that's the nature of the tool) so it would be nice to be able to position it in (more or less) the right place right from the start.

  • Apple Menu Bar Icons Gone

All the Apple Menu Items are gone. 3rd party icons are still there. I did already what was suggested in another topic by BDAqua:
    +In "/Users/<yourname>/Library/Preferences", delete com.apple.systemuiserver.plist+
    +In "/Users/<yourname>/Library/Preferences/ByHost", delete com.apple.systemuiserver.xxx.plist where 'xxx' is a 12 digit (hexadecimal) numeric string.+
+This will reset your Menu Bar to the default, you'll need to go through System Preferences to reset the ones you need. (If they are already checked, uncheck them first and then recheck them).+
    No result!
Here is how it happened: I had a problem with external drives (firewire) and a USB cardreader. After I tried several things that were mentioned in this forum (and elsewhere) I reinstalled OS 10.4.11 with the combo updater (it was suggested somewhere that this could solve the firewire problem). When I restarted after the new install of OS 10.4.11, all the Apple Menu Icons had disappeared.
The good thing: The firewire problem is solved (I think), but I want my Menu Icons back! HELP, please!
    Thank you
    Chris

Yeah, that's the first thing to try.
The usual reason why updates fail or mess things up, is if Permissions are not fixed before & after every update, with a reboot... you may get a partial update when the installer finds it doesn't have Permissions to change one obscure little part of the OS, leaving you with a mix of OS versions.
Some people get away without Repairing Permissions for years, some for only days.
If Permissions are wrong before applying an update, you could get mixed OS versions, if Directory is the slightest messed up, who knows!
If many Permission are repaired, or any Directory errors are found, you may need to re-apply some the latest/biggest updates again, or even do an A&I if you have enough free disk space.
An Archive & Install, which gives you a new OS, but can preserve all your files, pics, music, settings, etc...
