Apple finance documents

I'm tempted by a Macbook Pro, which I'd be buying on finance (0%, silly not to). I also have the option of taking a contribution from my employer towards the cost. However, to do this I would need an invoice with the full purchase price on. Does anyone know if the invoice would include the full purchase price, even if I purchase on finance over 12 months?

You'll just have to contact Apple Sales - I'm fairly certain that your invoice would include the full purchase price, though - but I would still get assurance from Apple.

How to assign/unassign a finance document in sales order

Dear experts,
At billing tab at line item in sales order, a finance document (a letter of credit in this case) can be assigned. I would like to know
1. how to assign and unassign it
2. is it possible to "deactivate a letter of credit" meaning that the letter of credit (already created) cannot be assigned to SD documents.
The field "Financ.doc.no." in VA02 is disable, so it cannot be changed.
Your suggestion would be appreciated.

1. how to assign and unassign it
If you have created a financial document in the transaction Vx11N, then you can assign that to the sales document item or to the header using that field in the billing tab. You need to have the "Paym.guar.proc." field fill before doing that.
To un-assign it, you can simple remove the value from that field, before you create a delivery / billing for that sales order line item.

Yes, in the Financial document type configuration you have a configuration option to setup validity periods. During LC document creation using transaction VX11N, you can give a validity period. Based on the validity dates system will issue an error message, if you try to assign an expired LC.

Finance documents - Letter of credit - sales order value than FD value?

Hi,
we are looking at this function of finance documents (ENLO, VN11n).
Scenario:
Sales Order value : 1 Mio USD
Finance Document value: 0.6 Mio USD
I want to create the FD document now fixed for the amount without specifiying an overdraft percentage (i.e. 100%).
Is it possible to cover this scenario?
Business reason:
We often have down-payments request issued at the beginning of the process and the amount might cover the gap. Or it is possible that credit limit of the customer covers the gap.

Hi,
Yes, you can use the documentary payments functionality to cover a certain percentage of the sales document value. Balance will be considered for credit limit calculations. Check below link on how you need to configure this.

How can I recover an earlier version of an Apple Notes document

Hello,
I must have deleted an earlier version of an Apple Notes document.
My Mac is running OS X version 10.9.2. Apple Notes runs on my Macbook Pro and my Iphone 4S, and I've seen my Apple Notes documents on Icloud.
However, the particular doucment I am loooking for has been superceded by later versions on my Macbook Pro, Iphone 4S & on Icloud.
Is there any way to recover a much-needed earlier version somehow?
As a very poor alternative I used to use Time Machine until my Macbook Pro reached it's limit; My last backup goes back to Jan. of this year. Is there a way to recover this Apple Notes document via Time Machine? I really wouldn't know where to look for Apple Notes douments on Time Machine. Like I said, I'd prefer to recover the Apple Notes document that I erroneously deleted today but as a poor 2nd if I can recover that same document, although 6 month's older, beggars can't be choosy.

If you synchronize Notes with iCloud, open the iCloud preference pane and uncheck the box marked Notes. If you sync Notes with another mail service, disable that in the Internet Accounts or Mail, Contacts & Calendars preference pane. You may be warned that notes stored on the server will be deleted. If you trust your backups, confirm. Leave the window open.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "com.apple.Notes" selected. Quit the application if it's running. Move the selected item to the Trash, then restore it from a backup that predates the unwanted change. If you back up with Time Machine, enter it and select the snapshot from which you want to restore.
Log out or restart and empty the Trash.
Re-enable synchronization in System Preferences, if you disabled it.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

Cannot download an Apple pdf document.

I have been trying to download an Apple pdf document (about HDV capture) but my screen goes dead when I try. I used another computer and tried there and got a page that my "server" does not have permission. What's going on? How do I get "permission." And I don't have a server, I have only stand-alone computers.

Updating finance document when creating Delivery GI

When creating GI for delivery related STO the delivery finance document is updated with the price from the material master record
we need that the price will be updated from the STO instead .
which Badi or BAPI can we use for this action?
( we don't use cross company billing document delivery related and as I understand pricing procedure can't be copied from STO to delivery related

Bapi to create finance document for a customer

Hi ,
Can any one of you please tell me how to create a finance document of type(BLART ex: Z3) for a customer with the details customer number , invoice number, Billing date(baseline date) and a price value , G/L account number, Payment terms , Payment method , Due days, Text.
Please tell me BAPI name and also tell me how to pass the data to that bapi.

Finance document from MIRO

Hi gurus,
We want to get finance report by plant so every finance document need to be populated plant field . My question comes from these finance documents generated from other modules such as MM, SD.
How to deal with it , for example, from MIRO? Due to technical reason we can not do substitution under complete document for MIRO, how to get plant field? Thanks.

I know plant field is BSEG-WERKS.Imagine that after MIRO the finance document is Dr GR/IR
Cr AP Cr VAT. My question is how to populate plant field in VAT line item which the value derive from GR/IR or AP. Additionally I am also facing the problem that the plant field in VAT line item is not shown although I have release plant field to optional in VAT account field status. Thanks.

IDOC - Finance Document Query

Hi,
In the inbound system (system in which the Idoc is received), go to transaction WE20 (Partner Profiles). Select the inbound system on the left side and double click on the Message type under inbound parameters which is being used for this Idoc.
On the next screen double click on the process code. The next screen will show you the function module/BAPI which has been used to submit the IDoc in the inbound system. Usually this function module/BAPI only takes care of the document generation.

Your question about making Word "the default when closing AW documents" is a bit unclear.
An AppleWorks document is an AppleWorks document. If you want it in Word format, you must explicitly save a copy of it as such (and also append the .doc suffix to the proposed file name).

Apple Finance insurance

I purchased a iphone5 and a pair of beat headphones on finance from apple in July, with recent events im in need of reporting theft to the police over these products stolen!! im not too sure if they were insured, or either covered for theft, the products came to a near total of £700.00 so surely with the products being as pricey as they are would i get any kind of help from apple with the act of theft that has been taken against me!! I am going to be reporting this to the police tomorrow but have i totally lost my item or would apple with a crime number etc be able to help as i cant afford to folk out for new apple products to replace these!! How long does Apple finance take to process

I ordered an iPad air through finance, on boxing day. My loan got accepted by barclays the following day (27th) however havent heard anything from either apple or barclays since. Just wondered if i needed to do anything else?, (as on my order status, it still says awating payment) or if it is a matter of just waiting, a rough idea of how long it will take for me to recieve my item?
I get that i ordered it during a busy time of the year, with there being many bank holidays etc. just wanted a rough estimate of what happens next or if i should be concerned/follow it up?

Using Gift card and Apple finance together?

Short version: Could someone please tell me if its possible to use an apple gift card in conjuction with their Financing to buy a new mac?
Long Version: I wish to buy a new mac on finance, however If I have about £600 of that as a gift card already, is there anyway I can use that first to bring the cost of financing down?

I don't see why not since you're only financing the amout that you'll actually owe after you apply the proceeds from the gift card. But, why not call Apple and ask? If you live near an Apple Store, why not stop in and ask someone there? You'll most likely get a far more accurate answer than you will on this or any other forum.
