That's usually what stolen means.

When purchased together, AppleCare is automatically activated and applied to your device, so no proof or registration is usually required. Apple usually sends documentation of coverage after a few days, though. If you didn't receive the documentation, it may have been lost in the mail. You can confirm coverage here:
    https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do
If that doesn't show the correct coverage (the expiration should be two years from your date of purchase) and it's been at least a couple of weeks since you purchased, call Apple support, ask to speak with someone in AppleCare Plan Administration, and explain the mistake to them.

  • Does Apple offer insurance protect for stolen product?

I just exchanged my Macbook Pro's battery about 2 weeks ago. However, my Macbook was stolen today. I wonder do Apple offer insurance protect for my new changed battery.

No, Apple doesn't provide that sort of insurance. If you charged it on a charge card, some of them do offer purchase protection.

  • How long does Apple finance take to process

I ordered an iPad air through finance, on boxing day. My loan got accepted by barclays the following day (27th) however havent heard anything from either apple or barclays since. Just wondered if i needed to do anything else?, (as on my order status, it still says awating payment) or if it is a matter of just waiting, a rough idea of how long it will take for me to recieve my item?
I get that i ordered it during a busy time of the year, with there being many bank holidays etc. just wanted a rough estimate of what happens next or if i should be concerned/follow it up?
    Thanks.

No need to be concerned but I would follow it up to inquire why the payment status has not changed since the loan was approved.

  • Using Gift card and Apple finance together?

    Hello,
Short version:     Could someone please tell me if its possible to use an apple gift card in conjuction with their Financing to buy a new mac?
Long Version:     I wish to buy a new mac on finance, however If I have about £600 of that as a gift card already, is there anyway I can use that first to bring the cost of financing down?
    thanks

I don't see why not since you're only financing the amout that you'll actually owe after you apply the proceeds from the gift card.  But, why not call Apple and ask?  If you live near an Apple Store, why not stop in and ask someone there?  You'll most likely get a far more accurate answer than you will on this or any other forum.

  • How do I pay for my purchase using the Apple Financing?

I applied for the financing option in Canada. It says they deal with TD bank and that I would get a credit card from them. I'm wondering how and where would I pay for my purchace that I made on the website so I don't get charged interest?
    Thanks

I have the exact same problem, Apple is so vague about how to repay using financial services.

  • Apple finance documents

I'm tempted by a Macbook Pro, which I'd be buying on finance (0%, silly not to). I also have the option of taking a contribution from my employer towards the cost. However, to do this I would need an invoice with the full purchase price on. Does anyone know if the invoice would include the full purchase price, even if I purchase on finance over 12 months?
    Thanks!

You'll just have to contact Apple Sales - I'm fairly certain that your invoice would include the full purchase price, though - but I would still get assurance from Apple.
    Good luck,

  • Apple Finance - "Pay nothing for 6 months"

Hey guys, not sure if this is the right forum to post in but I have a quick question about the "Pay nothing for 6 months" finance option on the Apple Store UK.
Basically I applied for it this morning and got accepted and ordered and iMac on the finance option. Now I will pay the full amount back within 3-4 months (you avoid paying interest if you pay the full amount back within 6 months). I just need to know how I go about paying them the money each month.
On the forms I printed off, there is a Direct Debit form I have to sign and send to them (Barclays Partner Finance) but I think that's for the 36 repayments after the 6 month period is over (so you have to pay back the £949 plus loads of interest).
Now does anyone know how I go about paying them the money within the 6 months? Do they send me a bill each month that I can fill in and pay at my bank? Or do I have to set up a standing order?
I'm sorry if this isn't making much sense but I'm all new to this! So if anyone can help me it would be much appreciated!

Bobster, i did the same thing but using "Juniper" here in the States...
The first thing I did was log on to their website and create an account with all my personal info, email, banking, yada yada....then I got the first bill in the mail, I logged on and changed my minimum payment. I should have my mac paid off in 4 months...

  • Apple Financing

I have looked up MacBook Pro 13" 256GB models for university and looked at the Pricing for Education and found that the MacBook Pro I would like is in total
With AppleCare = 1,122 I looked at financing for the model and noticed it wouldn't work with my current Job and student financing and was a bit much..
So what I am asking, is that.. is there any way to pay off say for example £550 of my Macbook pro in the beginning and pay the rest with the Financing option?
If not, I can just save up and get it at a quite later date.

We are all end-users like you and not qualified to make pronouncements about Apple financial policies. You'll need to contact an Apple Retail Store or the main Apple office in your location.

  • I'm 17, can I use apple finance to purchase a MacBook or do I have to wait until I turn 18?

I'm at college, and really need a laptop ASAP as our computer has just completely crashed and I really need it for college work. I'm 18 in 2 months and would wait until then but I have alot of coursework to do before then and a laptop would make life so much easier. I have a part-time job and earn enough to pay back the money each month, but I'm not sure if I can use it being under 18? I've looked all over the site but can't find anything on minimum age.

You'll have to wait till your 18. You will have to sign a contract. In the United States people under the age of 18 can not sign a contract. And if you do sign a contract, the contract can not be enforced. Have your parents sign for you.

  • Does apple insurance cover the battery?

does the apple phone insurance cover replacing the battery?

WOW.. fast response... Thanks for the help, I appreciate it... we purchased the insurance for my son's iphone.. not the apple car.  I'm guessing it isn't covered.

  • Is it possible to have two apple loans under one account?

So back in June my mum took up apple finance so I could get a macbook and pay her each month (I was under 18 at the time and have no credit history) and that went through within a minute no issues..
Now I face another issue, I want the new iphone 5s but still within my current iphone 5 contract I can't get out of but that aside my question is:
Is it possible to have two apple loans under one bank account? (the iphone one being much smaller than the existing mac loan)
If not, I'll simply have to save up £700.
    Thanks~

    Hi babowa,
The reference to two Apple loans led me to believe it was two Apple finance deals in conjunction with, for example, a Barclays Bank tie-up as we appear to have here in the UK.   As you suggest, the payment is a matter between the poster and his mom, but I think that behind all this is the question of whether the poster's mom can have two separate accounts in this way.   Which of course, she can.

  • Please help! - Finance question.

So last Friday the 1st of November I ordered the 128gb ipad air through finance - two days later on Sunday at around 11am I recieved an email through Barclays saying I had been accepted so preceded to sign the agreement online (Which is how it's done in the uk) and then recieved further comfirmation and the loan agreement started.
Now my issue is three days later it's now Wednesday and apple still have not even begun to process my order and I've had no comfirmation from them. Ive done apple finance before, earlier this year and they processed within 24 hours of me signing the agreement. Has anyone had this before? With each day that goes by an extra 3-4 days is added to the ipad dispatch which has already turned into an extra two-three weeks in my area due to stock.
Should I contact apple? Or is it usual for it to take this long and last time I got lucky.

I rang them and had to ring Barclays - turns out their postcode system is different to the norm and had to have me re-sign the agreement to fix the postcode. So hopefully by tomorrow apple will recieve word from barclays and process.

  • How can apple care tell me that it doesn't cover accidents

I bought my iPhone from AT&T as well as apple care plan
Now my screen is cracked and AT&T say they can't
help at all not even a phone call. Apple says my apple care
Insurance plan doesn't cover accidents. Really what else is there
Company's like apple and AT&T are exactly why the economy is down
Because they scam people in to buying insurance. Apple care
But they don't cover accidents. Explain this apple care

I believe AppleCare+ is only available for the iPhone 4S. Give Apple
a call to be sure I am not mistaken. AppleCare+ was released with
iPhone 4S. Even if AppleCare+ is available for iPhone 4, you are
past the 30 days from time of iPhone purchase to be eligible.
    from Apple.com:
    Important notes
AppleCare+ must be purchased within 30 days of the date you bought your new iPhone. If you did not purchase AppleCare+ with your iPhone, you may purchase it at an Apple Retail Store. To buy AppleCare+ at an Apple Retail Store, a Genius will first need to verify your iPhone purchase date and confirm that your iPhone has no pre-existing damage. Schedule a Genius Bar appointment
See AppleCare+ Terms and Conditions for complete product details.

  • Does Apple Care cover cracked iPhone screens?

My iPhone vibrated right off the table and the screen is cracked. It didn't really bother me at first but now the glass is starting to fall out. I have the Apple Care insurance so I was wondering if it covered cracked screens. Thank you!
