Apple gift card doesn't work

Hello, I just bought an ipod nono last friday at the applestore and it came with a "applestore gift card 25$".
my problem is that I doesn't work on app store neither itunes ir said is invalid but When I want to know the balance it works.
I have it last blackfriday on applestore nyc 5th ave , and I life in Panamá.

Is it Apple Store card or an itunes card.
An Apple store card is not god in the itunes store. It is good only for purchases from the Apple store.

My gift card didn't work

I bought a $15 iTunes gift card and after I scanned it with my phone I only had a $6.44 balance. I downloaded a second $15 iTunes gift card and that worked out fine. What can I do to get the rest of my credit from my gift card???

Go to your Purchase History:

and review your purchases to make sure that you should indeed have the balance left you think you should. iTunes doesn't always refresh the balance it shows, so it's possible you spent the money and it just wasn't being reflected in the display. This display error can usually be corrected by logging out of the iTunes Store and then back in. It's also possible that you owed money which would have been paid from that first iTunes card.
If you confirm that you should have a higher balance left but the iTunes Store isn't showing it correctly, go here:
iTunes Support
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

Why Can't I use an Apple Gift card to buy an ipad!?!

So, I received an apple gift card for graduation from college. It was $500 and I wanted to use to buy an iPad.
The person at the apple store said I was not allowed to use a gift card to pay for more than %50 of an iPad.
My question is...WHY? They got their money when someone purchased the gift card, what does it matter?
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue, or knows why this is apple's policy. It just doesn't seem to make sense to me.

That is a very, very big assumption.
Apple could simply check the gift card and see if the purchase of that card was valid. They would have to Do that anyway to verify the amount on it anyway.
Not wanting to pony up the cash could be a sign of naughtiness.
I have a gift card and want to use it so that is a sign of naughtiness?
If i got a gift card and could not use it, I would be beyond ticked off! It' s valid or it isn't.

My Card doesn't work anymore and keeps asking me for the card information. How do I turn the card option back to "none".

How do I turn this off? I can't download anything until I put in the card's information. But the card doesn't work anymore, it ran out of money. It keeps saying that my last perchase was unseccessful or something. I just want this to stop so I can update and download apps! Please help!

My iMac with Snow Leopard 10.6.8 crahed b/c the HD cannot be repaired. I reinstalled Mac OS X and luckily have most documents and applications. Redeeming "Apple" Gift Card in iTunes

I have a small balance left on an Apple gift card that I would like to use in my iTunes account. When I am in the iTunes store the only option seems to be for "iTunes" gift cards. Is there a way for me to transfer the balance of my "Apple" gift card to my iTunes account.

At this point in time, regardless of how you think it should work, you can't use an Apple Gift Card on the iTunes Store.

Changing my apple ID name doesn't work

I have following problem which is quite annoying ... So, when I log in on the developer site, my first name is: ezfzsd (which I can't seem to find anywhere on my account)
When I go to my my apple ID account my first and last name are filled in correctly. If I change both, my last name is edited (as it should be) but my
the word 'ezfzsd' doesn't change at all. Whatever I do, it keeps displaying the wrong name.
Does anyone know what the problem might be? Or how to fix this?

If you bought an Apple gift card, then you cannot use it in the iTunes store. You can only use it in the Apple store for hardware.
You would need an iTunes gift card to buy anything in iTunes
