Apple has disable my AppStore account and I need it back URGENTLY.
I have sent several message to Apple support but I havent get any answers.
What can I do?

    I have two itunes accounts. One account has all my store purchases and is associated with my school email address, which I will eventually lose. The OTHER account has NO purchases on it, and is associated with my gmail account.
    What I want is for my itunes account with all my purchases, to be associated my permanent gmail email account. However, if I try to change it, Apple of course tells me that the particular email address is already associated with another account. And, as others have said on the forums, you can't merge two accounts.
    So, would it be possible to delete the gmail account entirely? And then, after that is done, change the email on my other account to my gmail address? If so, how do I do that?

    Then just delete the music from your iTunes library that you no longer want.
    There is no reason to create a new iTunes account to purchase new music. This will not delete the old music in your iTunes library.

This has been most frustrating, as I cannot get passed the sign in section and there is no contact person I can speak to.     If the apps that are on your son's iPad were purchased under his Dad's Apple ID, then signing your Apple ID onto the iPad will not help you with updating those apps.
    Also, if the iPad was sync'd with his Dad's iTunes library, then hooking it up to your computer/iTunes library, will require you to reset the iPad, and everything that was loaded under the other Library and Apple ID will be wiped out.
    Can you provide a little more info about what was set up under which Apple ID and what iTunes library the iPad was sync'd with?

    We have a MacBook, one iTunes store account, and four iPod Touch devices. We usually redeem iTunes gift cards for purchases instead of using our credit card. Once in a while we give our children an iTunes gift card, but then the card value goes into the one account and everyone has to keep track of their amounts and purchases. Is it possible to set up multiple accounts so everyone can redeem their own gift cards from their individual accounts? I see that iTunes will let me set up an "allowance" account for each child, but that money would be charged to the credit card. I prefer to use the iTunes gift cards as a way to "pay as we go" rather than adding to our credit card balance. Thanks.

    So me and my father each have one of each.
    I my ipod, my comp, my iTunes Store Account and him his.
    I bought a few games and so did he. He has a Touch and I a Nano 4thG. Some are compatible. I connected my iPod to his and tried to pass his games to mine but all my games were deleted and his installed.

    Yes, you can do this.
    First, you need to authorize both of your PCs with each other's itunes accounts.
    Second, you need to copy the purchased files from one PC to another. I use a USB memory stick to get purchases between my home PC and work PC. I copy it onto the new PC's hard drive, and then drag it over from Win Explorer into the itunes library.
    You could use your ipods and the "Copy purchases" feature. I think the reason your ipod was erased was becuase his PC wasn't authorized, but I'm not sure. That's why I use a USB stick - the Apple way seems fraught with ways to get things erased.

    If your family is fairly large with lots of brothers and sisters having iPods also, keep in mind that you can only have content from 5 itunes store accounts on your ipod at once.

  • ITunes Store + Click and Buy timed out

    I recently got me a Click and Buy account because Paypal isnt availible in Germany. I verified my Mail and my bank account - Click and Buy says. Whenever I try to link this in iTunes I get a Message that iTunes could not connect with CaB and the process was canceld because of a session time out. I think the whole process took me about 20 seconds. I tried a Firefox instead of Safari - nothing.

    I still have the same problem, I can not link my click-and-buy account with my iTunes Store account - and that means that the money I have in CaB is stuck there and I cannot use it in Apple Store. That *****!
    On every attempt to get back from the browser to iTunes, I still receive the iTunes box message:
    Your attempt to set up your ClickandBuy account for use in the iTunes Store was unsuccessful.
    Your iTunes Store session has timed out.
    It seems that Apple does not give a dam about it ("it" means us that are spending money in their store via their business partners).
    Does anyone know any sort of solution for that technical problem? Why iTunes does not accept the browser redirect from CaB?

  • Changing iTunes Store accounts with Automatic Downloads

    I use my Mac Mini at home as my media server/HTPC, and contains my iTunes library.  I want to copy all my music to my MacBook Air for work, as my internet at work is too slow for iTunes Match to work effectively.  Therefore, I was going to set Automatic Downloads for music on both Macs so that they would stay in sync.
    However, I have both an Australian iTunes store account and an old UK one, which I still use to download BBC TV programmes from.  According to the Apple KB though:
    "Once a device or computer is associated with your Apple ID, you cannot associate that device or computer with another Apple ID for 90 days."
    Does this mean that I can't change the store from AU to UK for 90 days?  Or is the Apple ID you use in the store different to the device's Apple ID?

    I'm having this problem too (except with from Japan to US)! Did you ever get a solution? I don' want to create a new account because I want to keep all of my purchases.

  • Can't access DotMac email or iTunes Store account

    Hi Folks,
    I have just bought a MacBook and migrated everything from my old 17" iMac (USB modem). I have bought a Belkin wireless router for the new laptop and can access internet no problem. In fact, the wireless connection is faster than my old wired iMac.
    The problem is two-fold.
    1) I cannot download my email from the DotMac server. I can send mail no problem, even receive it on my other Virgin email account, but not DotMac. Entourage knows the mail is there (it tells me how many messages are waiting), but it freezes and eventually times out.
    2) I cannot access my iTunes Store account. I need to authorize this laptop to play my music but anytime i need to access the account, the "Accessing iTunes Store..." message appears and stays forever.
    I am thinking that there is a problem with my dotmac account as both these problems use the same details, but perhaps it is the wireless connection blocking it?
    Any tips gratefully received.

    There are several ways, but some of them depend on whether you use airport a lot, and whether you loose your settings when it sleeps and wakes.
    What I've been playing around with, and what would probably work best for you in the near term:
    System Preferences -> Network
    Then select the Ethernet interface you want to set this on.
    Click the Advanced button in the lower right hand corner. Then select the Ethernet tab on the right side of the list of new tabs.
    You'll then see a list of settings, mostly greyed out. For the Configure: setting, change from Automatically to Manually, leave all other settings the same, except for MTU: which should be showing Custom, if not set it to Custom, and make sure the value in the dialog box below it is 1400. Then click OK. When you get back to the main screen for Network and with the interface you did this on still selected, hit apply.
    This is not optimal, but until Apple fixes the network code to handle the built in default. You'll want to undo this (set it back to Automatically). When that will be, I don't know. I'll probably try it out with 10.5.2 whenever that is.
    I haven't verified yet that this keeps across reboots. I'll probably try with my macbook while I'm watching the game.

My iTunes Store account is Philippine-based (even though I live in Dubai right now) ever since I had one and most of my apps we're purchased in that store. However, since a there are a lot of apps and most especially eBooks which I could only get from the US iTunes Store, I am planning to alternatively change the country of my account from Philippines to US and vice versa whenever I need to update apps on a specific store. But my default country would still be in the Philippine iTunes Store. Is that possible? Can I still read my purchased eBooks (from the US iTunes Store) for my iBooks app even if I revert back to the Philippine iTunes Store? Because the eBook selection for the Philippine iBookstore *****! It doesn't offer popular titles or new ones for people to read. Anyway, I've got my auntie's US address for me to be able to make a US iTunes Store account and I'll be using a iTunes gift card for my purchases since I don''t have a US-based credit/debit card with me.

    It is illegal to access an iTunes Store in one country from another country. I know what you are doing, so I'm informing you that doing so is a violation of law.
    "Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

    Good question.
    I don't think you can--if I'm incorrect, someone will tell me--but it seems to me to be easier to simply open an iTunes account for your mom. Then get her a gift card, load it into iTunes for her, and rent a movie that way. Not elegant at all...but workable.
