Apple has sent out several updates lately for the OS. Now I cannot open ANY attachment to ANY e-mail. Is there a fix?

Office Home Premium is a mere $10 a month, but a convenient annual subscription is only $100 a year. This is a substantial discount to Microsoft's Office 365 business products ($150 / employee / year).
Such a deal! Are you not absolutely thrilled?

Clean out/blow out the headphone jack. Insert/remove the heaphone plug a dozen times or so
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>GeneralReset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a bad headphone jack

This isn't the fault of firefox. Firefox is a web browser, not your email provider. I'd suggest contacting them (whoever you use, gmail, yahoo, etc.) and asking for help.

I don't believe the last Thunderbird update worked, there was a very fast error message. But since then I cannot open jpeg attachments in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. If I go to Tools, then options, the jpeg line is grayed out, and the drop down menu does not show Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. The windows picture and fax viewer still works on my computer, but not for opening attachments.

I did as you said - deleted the entry for jpeg, but when I tried to open one there is not an option for Picture and Fax Viewer in the drop down, and it can't be found by browsing. It's just not there anywhere even though I can see pics in it except in email attachments.

Apple ID greyed out in updating applications in the app store

Hi, i have a problem with updating iPhoto and iMovie on my Macbook Air. When i try to update the application it requires me to use my old apple ID which i forgot and no longer have access to that account. I was able to use my new apple ID to update the iWork applications.

Fire fox has always been my preferred browser. I received a message that i needed to update Firefox. I did this and moved the icon to my application file as shown; noting only one of two steps was completed. there was no opportunity to do anything else. I opened it by clicking that i agreed it was an application from the internet. It worked that afternoon. I then turned off my computer, and now the old and the new mozilla firefox icons will not work. I have all my bookmarks on Firefox and need to use it constantly while I work; how do I get it back?!

You calendar info should also be mirrored on your computer. Use the option to replace all events on the iPod with the info on your computer during the next sync. You can find this option in the info pane, Advanced section.
You can also use the latest backup to restore from, it contains the calendar info as well: iTunes: About iOS backups

The screen indicates that your device is in recovery mode. It has to be restored by connecting it to a computer with itunes. Restore to factory settings.
This happens sometimes. Hopefully you have a backup.

I wouldn't think so. Everyone who migrated from a MobileMe account got an extra 20GB free until 30 Sept, and the emails now being sent out presumably go to everyone regardless of any subsequent storage purchase. As you've paid for 50GB this should be unaffected (but I should keep an eye on it!). Disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall during the download and update usually resolves the timeout error.

I have ordered an i-pad and cancelled it the other day. I have used my indian debit for that order. So money got debited immediately. Apple has sent an email saying that it is successfully cancelled. But money is not yet credited into my account.

Your best corse of action would be to either email apple support or ring them giving them your debit I'd and the order number where they will be able to look at what's wrong and set u going on the right track

Apple requires each Apple ID be associated with a different email address. Perhaps that is why you haven't received the email. Or you received the email and it is in your Junk Mail folder.
