Apple I D de activated

Hi, after entering a voucher to make purchase I was requested to enter security question and I failed to get it right
After several attempt my ID is now de activated. Pls help

    If the iCloud account you are trying to delete is old ID that was later updated to change it to your current ID, you can go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now, if desired, you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Since a week, when I click on "Get Mail", after a delay I see brielfly flashing "Incoming message 70 or whathever the number in waiting is." and the green band extends to the end of the line in a fraction of a seconde, but then dissapears and no mails gets downloaded. It is not a matter of password etc.. that are all OK. Strangely, yesterdays, some email did come through after a few days of failure, but not anymore. Could it be related to hacking or something like that? Any thing I could try?
    I have OX 10.6.8.

    If the phone was previously updated to IOS 7 and find my iPhone was added, your phone has the activation lock on it and can only be unlocked by the Apple ID used to stet up the phone.

    Has anyone had any luck in using Active Directory (2003) as the directory service with an Apple Mail Server? We're testing it out, but we're unable to enable mail services for users on teh Mac server.
    If anyone has tried this and can offer up some tips, I'd be grateful!

    I also discovered that Mac users who have valid accounts in AD 2003 can't have an email account in WGM enabled for them (WGM acts like its enabling email but then reverts back to "disabled"). I assume the account must be configured in the Active Directory Users and Groups admin tool before it can be enabled in WGM on the OS X email server, but I havent had any luck getting it to work yet.

    Ive activated iCloud photo library on all my devices (other than mac).  All seems to be syncing and playing correctly on my iPhone, iPad and iCloud.com however, when I view on my Apple TV none of the videos show in the list.  Ive updated the software to the latest version.
    Am I doing something wrong perhaps?!

    I'm not a 100% sure.
    I had som many duplicates after my import to Photo (from iPhoto), and while some were zombie files, and others because I had screwed a little with my iPhoto package. But when I imported I did have several albums shared, and they were all duplicated.
    I unshared all my albums, and I'm currently working on cleaning up my library before sharing again (so I have a good base to start from).
    Here is what I think might be happening (or at least hope, otherwise it's a big bug): When you share an album... as far as iCloud is concerned, they are probably treated as separate items in the cloud. Which means Photos is creating a copy. I have the feeling that if you delete the original in your library, the copy you have shared will remain.
    But the thing that probably shouldn't happen, is that Years/Collections/Moments is displaying both the master version you had originally, and the version that is shared.
    Remember... these are only my thoughts, since I'm not at the point of testing this yet.

  • Can/Will Apple help me with Activation Lock?

    My mom gave me an iPad Air for my birthday last year. It was store bought from the US (I have the receipt and the box still). 2 nights ago, my iPad wouldnt sync with my Photostream. I tried turning photostream on and off but nothing. So I did a factory reset. Upon tapping on the "Reset All Contents and Settings" I got a notification from my device saying I should turn off my "Find My iPhone" so I did. When it had finished, I tried setting it up again and when I got to the activation page, it wouldnt accept my Apple ID. I checked via iCloud and saw that my device was still linked to my account but I couldnt remove it via "Find My iPhone" because the device wouldnt show up on the page.

    I just went through that only I bought mine off ebay from a third party. I was lucky that the previous owner did not wipe her info. which luckily I made a mental note of a few things before doing the same thing you did, update and restore, wiped it but left it locked. took me a week to finally get the original owner to trust me. I don't blame her, a stranger claiming to have their old ipad with her password still on it wanting her to clear it on icloud wasn't an easy sell. But I got lucky and she cleared it from her icloud for me, pheeww!  Bottom line you will need to... either remember the password or have the original copy of the receipt for the original purchase of the person who's password is in the ipad, other than that, I have 1 word for ya.... Parts!

    why doesnt apple have some way of reporting a stolen iphone mine was stolen and i have the find my phone app and its been online once and nothing since that was in december it was stolen in november of last year.  I paid cash for had no insurance on disablility cannot afford another one.  I paid cash when I got my back pay now I have no iphone and nothing i can do.  apple should have some type of system to see that a phone is stolen or not.

    In addition to all of the reasons already given, Apple is not in the business of tracking and listing stolen property.  Theft of iPhones, and other smart phones, has reached epidemic proportions in most large cities.  The only people who have a real reason to keep records of stolen phones would be the cell service providers.
    The new iOS version 7 has an anti-theft protection feature - the Activation Lock.  Using that feature makes the iPhone useless to the thief.  But the user must turn that on for it to work.

    It sounds like you may have triggered activation lock.  If that is the case they will ask you for your ID and password and when you cannot give it to them they will say sorry they cannot help you.  It's a new feature to deter thieves (makes stolen devices useless) but it means you now have to be very diligent about knowing your login information.
