Apple ID Accident
I accidentally changed my Apple ID from my primary email address to my secondary email address. I wanted to change it back, but it warned me that "This email address is not available for use as an Apple ID. You may already have an Apple ID associated with this address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID."
Can anyone solve this problem?
You will have to try to recover the password or contact Apple for help.

Welcome to the Apple community.
A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals. -
Ipod Classic 120gb inbuilt recording capabilities
I have had my Ipod classic 120gb for about 4 years. Although I am aware that it had the capcaity to record when used with an external mic, I found that I was actually able to use it to record without such equipment before. About a year ago, there was an update automatically downloaded from itunes to my ipod, this update meant that I could record voice notes on my ipod without using any mic attachment or anything at all. I was simply using my ipod as I always had, including normal headphones. I must admit I thought it was strange at that time as there is recording input point visable on the device, but since it worked I didn't questionit any further. On the ipod main screen a recording option appeared in the main menu and I could view and playback waht I had recorded. The problem is that this option disappeared and reappeared for about 2 months before totally disappearing. Now I can no longer access the option and I'm wondering whether anyone else experienced this? i.e. was able to record on the ipod classic without any need for any accessories?
If so, it would be interesting to know if apple just accidently allowed the update, and took it away when they realised the mistake so that people could buy the recording accessories instead?Well either way, there is no MIC hardware in an iPod classic, unless somehow it was modified, which is very unlikely. Why not bring it to an Apple store an see what they have to say?

I changed my Apple ID two weeks ago and I accidently forgot to sign out of my iCloud on my iPhone 5C. Now it wont let me change the iCloud ID to match my new Apple ID. How do I change my iCloud ID even though it is asking for the old ID?
If the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

i backed up my broken ipad to my computer yesterday, returned it to Apple & got it replaced today and have now accidently backup'd on my computer over the top of my original Ipad Back up from yesterday. Can anyone advise how do I get previous copy of my back up??
Look at this knowledge base article on iOS backups to iTunes, note where the backups are kept for your type of computer, Windows or Mac, go to that Library location and see if there are any other files with the same name as the current backup but with a different extension and date/time stamp. If so you can edit the extension of the current backup and then change the extension of the previous backup so it looks like what was on the current and the do a restore. iTunes will think the older backup is now new and use it to restore.
If there are no such files then you over-wrote the backup and it is gone. -
In my computer some of the iTunes files got deleted accidently and I couldn't reinstall it . Evrytime I try torun setup file I am getting this error message"C:\Users\Rif\AppData\Local\Apple\Apple Software Update\" ,appreciate if anyone can help me on this pls?
Even after deleting all files and folders from hard drive i am still getting this error!!

You can't delete an account nor deactivate it, all you can do is remove any personal info from it and stop using it (any items that you downloaded with it will remain tied to the account). You can update/remove some info via via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes or by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone, you can also change some things by logging into it at http://appleid.apple.com

and use iTunes on that computer to do the restore. -
Hello, My iph5s screen cracked according an accident I just had it since February with threeG mobile network , I have been told I can replace my phone or get it fixed by apple for free, can you please let me know what should I do about this matter ?
Oh well that's what I heard because it's about the 90 days warranty ,,. Anyway can you please tell me what I can do to get it fixed ? It's a not really big crack in the right bottom side of the screen

Reauthorize it again: open iTunes, go to Store>Authorize This Computer, sign in with your Apple ID.

I accidently deleted gmail messages on my computer. I use Apple mail. Can I retrieve them?
I use Gmail's IMAP setttings to download email to my computer. I have 3 separate email accounts on Apple Mail. Today, I accidently select all and deleted all 3k messages from my Apple Inbox. Once I did that, it automatically deleted all emails from this computer, and my other computer, along with my iphone and on gmail.com.
Is there a way to get those emails back?
I am in my Library folder and in the Mail folder, I see all 3 IMAP folders. And within those folders, there is a Messages folder that has a lot of emails that are not in my Apple Inbox? I went to gmail.com and took all the messages in my trash and moved it to Inbox. But these messages were only abot 150. I have no idea where all the 3k emails went??

Like you said Gmail deletes them after a specified number of days. If the messages you moved to gmail's Trash were older than that, gmail deleted them.

If you have an "all mail" folder search for them there. If they're not present, they're gone. -
My ipod sank in water by accident for 1 hour, after lay drying for 1 month, I connect it with my Mac, it show a dark apple and began to charge, after few hrs, it showed fully charge, but after I pressed, it became a dark screen, but it shows a dark apple everytime I connect the Mac, what can I do? I will try my best to save it, I love this ipod very much as it's a present from my dear.
After drying for a month and it's still not working, it's almost certainly suffered hardware damage and will need to be replaced. You can learn what Apple will charge to replace it here:

Hello All, I have recently made the switch to all things Apple and still feel quite the rookie so hoping I can find help here! I'm a bit in shock as 0f now because my entire music libra was deleted by accident and I am completely stuck as to what to do now..I just got the 4s and haven't transferred much music over at all..I figured i could just export it all back but to my Mac...Any advice guys , is it even possible?

I accidently broke my earphones. Will apple replace them for free under my warranty??
I accidently broke my earphones (with remote). The wire that was encased by the rubber has split therefore my earphones are no longer working. I got them with my iPhone in the summer so I am still under my 1 year warranty. My USB Cable charger is also disfuntional as I can only charge my phone in a certain position
If I take my earphones and USB charger to the Apple Store (Genius Bar), wil they replace them for free?
