Apple ID Account Activity

I need some serious help! I keep getting emails about resetting my password and I want to know if there is anywhere that I can go to see my history and where my account is being accessed. any info would be great thanks!!

Thanks for the answers, guys!
By the way, after I got email that my Find My Phone was disabled, i got this email couple hours later:
Dear ******** **********,
Congratulations on your update to iOS 7. As an iCloud user, part of your upgrade includes new features built into Find My iPhone that make it harder for anyone else to use or sell your device if it is ever lost or stolen.
With Find My iPhone turned on in iOS 7, your Apple ID (******@*********) and password will always be required before anyone can:
Turn off Find My iPhone on your device.
Erase your device.
Reactivate and use your device.
There is nothing you need to do except to keep Find My iPhone turned on and remember your Apple ID and password. For more information, read the FAQ.
Note: As always, if you plan to give your device to someone else, make sure to erase all content and settings before transferring it to the new owner. This will remove the device from your account and allow the new owner to activate it. For more information, read What to do before transferring ownership of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
The iCloud Team
How ironic! BUT does this mean that someone is using my Apple ID on my old iPhone (possibly using my iCloud copy of the phone)? This thing is making me really crazy, because i got same email when i just upgraded to iOS7 from iOS6 about a month before my phone was stolen.
I tried to find out, if theres any contact form to contact Apple, but didn't find anything. It is really hard to me to discuss anything by phone in English. Is there any Finnish language phone? Do I need to have AppleCare to call them? I tried to buy AppleCare to my new phone but it says that it is not avaiable in my country.
Got really tangled about this

  • HT201363 I would like to log into an old Apple ID account and forgot the password but it is no longer active and I forget the answers to the security questions. How do I log in?

I Want my music from my old Apple ID account but I can't remover my password and the email is not active so I can't log onto it. I don't remember my security question answers. What should I do? Am I logged out forever?

You need to ask Apple to reset its security questions. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.

  • ITunes - Fraudulent account activity, Apple refusing to help

Got 2 email receipts from iTunes last night, for 2 gift cards, one for £25 and one for £75.
Logged into my iTunes account via iTunes and there they were in my purchase history, sent to some unknown hotmail address.
Removed my card details and changed my password.
Contacted iTunes through their email support to get Apple to cancel those gift cards and issue a refund.
Got a reply in 90 minutes with an offer of 5 song credits and a clear "we cannot refund your card" along with a "contact your financial institution".
After another 3 emails form me, and 3 back from Apple I'm still left with the same line "we cannot refund your card". Sent them one more email last night which has so far been ignored.
Contacted the bank this morning only to be told they can't do anything as it's a checking account not a credit card(!) They informed me that it is Apple's responsibility to refund the money as it is down to them to ensure the transactions are authorised.
I'm heading down to the bank to fill out a charge back claim form which they will send to Apple but that's all they can do...
    This is beyond ridiculous.
    1) There should be a phone number for the iTunes store at least for fraudulent account activity.
    2) Apple, like any other company CAN refund money to a card, saying they "cannot" is a downright lie.
    3) Apple must be in breach of every consumer trading law in the UK (I use the UK store) with this policy.
    4) I use a secure password, I use trusted networks and no-one has access to my Mac. How the **** did the hacker get in?
    5) What should I do when both Apple and the bank refuse to help? To be honest I'm not annoyed at the bank as it's not their fault. This is a security breach of Apple's system and they're liable in my opinion.
I've bought 700 items through iTunes since it started and this is how they treat me. Well no more. That gravy train is over for them.
And don't get me started on the thousands upon thousands of pounds I've spent on Apple hardware and software...

    Thanks for the info.
Annoyingly the rep in question (someone called Judy) refuses to escalate the issue to somene who can look into this and perform the refund.
This is absolutely ridiculous, you're basically left with no-one to talk to (she/they are now ignoring my follow-up emails) , I've never seen anything like it. I've heard bad things about the likes of Paypal and eBay but Apple seem keen to add themselves to the list of sites not to trust due to a complete lack of customer service and boilerplate responses. Heck, Im sure last year (or it may be this coming Jan 1st) UK law changed to require online retailers to post their telephone number on the site...
This useless rep is quoting me US Federal Law when I'm using the UK iTunes store and the terms and conditions on there clearly state that the transaction is covered under UK law...
And UK law says they have to refund me.
I've dealt with Apple for years, I've used the AppleCare helpline and the Genius bar many times and every time service has been A1. I'm genuinely amazed that this type of customer service goes on on the iTunes store... And especially about such a serious issue.

  • My Apple ID account have the security error

    2) I have continue created new a Apple ID with same the email accounts before (is: A ) and using it. But when I erase iPhone (Reset ALL iPhone), I have to use Apple ID for activation for use. Here I can not activate this iPhone with my the Apple ID
Now, I can using my email accout (apple id) A for activation my iPhone.
How to unlock ? Pls. help me !
    Thanks

indeed. there are a number of us that use very secure passwords and even long  random passwords that password utilities manage for us, yet apple seems to pick and choose who updates often and who doesn't.
when I get alerted (not via email, but when logging in to the store via my iPhone or on these support forums), I am told my password expired and that I will have a shelflife of about 6 months. with that info in hand, I'm finding that my password needs reset 3-4 times a year. they usually last less than 4 months. it's quite bothersome since I use very secure passwords and making subtle changes to them decreases my ability to remember them at times. I've started appending a coded timestamp that just gets edited so that the root password stays forever and never gets repeated, but the part that changes is easier to recall.
my main gripe about this is that I mentioned on fb to some friends about how often it happened and what a pain it was at times (especially with several computers and many iOS devices) and a few chimed in that they don't change theirs but every couple years, and another friend hasn't evey had to change his since we both got our .mac emails back around 1999-2000... I've changed away from it, but he still has his. even so, why do mine change 3-4x yearly while his hasn't changed in over a decade?
I realize I'm preaching to the choir here, but wanted to speak up and say that you're not along in this.

  • I have exceeded creating Free Apple ID account on my device

Upon activation of my ipod touch 4 last year, i have several errors encountered in creating my apple ID account. As I remember, I have created 3 accounts without verifications. Today, I was about to create another one because I will be using my activated apple account on my iphone, my device prompted me that I already exceeded  creation Free apple Id account on my device (ipod). What advice can you give me regarding this? Thanks!

And what do I have to do if I am the 5-th owner of the device, and each of the previous owners have been created an apple ID for themeselves. WHAT TO DO NOW ? Shouldn't I have my own ID ?

  • How do I delete an Apple discussion account?

I am wondering if you can delete one of your Apple discussion account, so that the username is not longer active for that account.

Moderators can delete the account, but usually do not (you can just let it idle and die).  They usually do not delete *all* of the threads you started, but can edit some that you feel have personal information.  If you want every response you posted deleted, that is all but impossible.

  • My computer was stolen and now my wife and i are sharing her laptop.  we have separate apple ID accounts, i upgraded to iphone 4 since the robbery.  all of her apps are on my phone and i can not get my apps or upgrade exisiting apps using my apple account

my wife and I are now sharing the same laptop, mine was stolen, we have separate apple ID accounts.  i upgraded to iphone 4 after the robbery and activated my phone on her laptop.  when i try to download or upgrade apps her apple ID keeps popping up.  can we have separate accounts using the same laptop with different phones?  if so, how can i fix this?

It sounds as if you're using the same Mac OS X login account on that computer. If you create a separate login account for yourself, it will be as if you have two computers (other than the fact you can't both use it at the same time, of course).
Go to System Preferences->Users & Groups to create a new user account for yourself. Log out of your wife's account, then log in to your own account. You can now set up this user environment any way you like. When you launch iTunes the first time, enter your Apple ID and log in to the iTunes Store. Redownload all of your content. Then connect your iPhone to the computer using the USB cable - it will treat it as a new phone, let iTunes wipe the phone and set it up as new.
You might then want to set up Fast User Switching within System Preferences->Users & Groups which will allow you and your wife to swap the laptop between the two of you easily without even having to log out one account in order to log in to the other.

The iPhone has Activation Lock and will require you to have the previous owner's Apple ID and password or you'll need to get the previous owner to remove the device from his/her iCloud account:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2702
If you can't reach the previous owner or he/she is unwilling to cooperate, then the device is unusable by you. Return the iPhone for a refund if you can.

Hello I have a problem with the iPhone 5 does not know the account activation lock

You will not be able to access the device without the account activate lock password. IF you have the receipt and other proof of purchase you may have sucess with contacting apple and asking them for assistance. Depending gretaly on how much proof of purchase you have.
    Good luck Friend.

That indicates that the maximum number of iCloud accounts has already been created on your device.  All you can do is re-use one of the accounts previously created, or create a new account to use on another iOS device or Mac (running OS X 10.7.2 or later), if you have one.
