Apple ID country and region change

How can i change region of my Apple ID from Canada to USA? Also, if i can get a job at Apple, how do i get the account to become an employee account? I can't delete it and it'll have to stay with me for my whole life so can anyone teach me the help will be appreciated very much.

Go to http://appleid.apple.com and click 'Manage your Apple ID'. Sign in. Then click 'Addresses' in the sidebar. You can change your region at bottom right of the page, and of course your physical address.
As to employee accounts, you'd have to ask them when you become one.

CHANGING APPLE ID/EDIT ACCOUNT INFORMATION/CHANGE ITUNES COUNTRY
Tap Settings / iTunes & App Stores, then tap the Apple ID signed in. Sign out of the current Apple ID account and then sign in with another account or create a new Apple ID http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2731?viewlocale=en_US
Go to settings/facetime and tap the ID there and log out and log in with new ID.
Go to settings/messages and turn off imessages wait 30 seconds and turn it back on, go to “receive messages at” tap on the ID there, sign out and sign in with new ID.
Go to settings/icloud and delete the account and when prompted select “keep information on your device” then turn it back on with the new ID.
To edit account information tap Settings / iTunes & App Stores / Apple ID: / View Apple ID
To change your iTunes Store country, sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you would like to use, tap Settings/iTunes & App Store/Apple ID/View Apple ID/Country/Region

If you are getting an 'account not in this store' message thne try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your phone and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select your country.

IMessage on Mac: country and region code?

Hi,
The Message app in Mac OS it's not working correctly, and I think it's because of the country and region code.
I can't send messages to the contact phone number (previously added to Contacts app) as I do on the iPhone, it says the number is not registered with iMessage. I have to manually type 5511 (my country and region code) before the phone number. I do not need to do this on the iPhone, all local phones have no code at all and are in the format ####-####.
Everything else works fine, the messages are even synced in both devices, but as the Mac OS app sees the sender's number with country and region code, it does not match any of my contacts in the Contacts app.
Is there any preference I need to set or any other way to resolve this?

Actually they are two different apps and the approaches are slightly different.
The iOS version can check if the recipient is also iMessages compatible and will switch to SMS if Not.
This means there are extra steps before iMessages are sent to the iMessages server for delivery.
The Mac version can tell you the recipient is not using iMessages but does not switch to SMS meaning the action is Local to the device and not at Server level.
As far as I can tell the iMessages server works on storing full international Numbers as an ID which is then linked to an Apple ID.
Obviously the numbers can vary in the number of digits with some countries only having one leading + digit (i.e America is +1) and others have longer (i.e. the UK is +44 and Brazil is +55)
In the UK different carriers are separated in the next four digits a bit like an area code.
I must admit that sometimes I select an Name and the choice for an iPhone Number in the Contacts part of adding a name to the "To" field and it tells me it does not like the number.
Clicking and holding the red box at the pointed arrow end shows me the alternatives and I can uses the same number in an acceptable format.
Part of this is what is "registered" as the number with the iMessages server compared to other places
What people registered and what you have in your Contacts info may be the same but I would think the iMessages servers are expecting a minimum number of digits.

If you change your Apple ID you will need to sign in with the new information or password the next time you use an Apple service or feature that uses Apple ID. If you have multiple devices that use features and services that require an Apple ID, you will need to sign in again on each device.

Can any tell that how i can change country key and region of plant after some material master data is maintained? In spro sap is not allowing to change the country key and region of the plant.fields are in display only

Dear,
Go to OX10 transaction and select your plant - select details - once plant details displayed, click on address icon on (Shift+F5). Here you change the country in address.
But consider different impacts of country change - like tax calculations, Sales etc.

I recommend the following steps to change the country on the App and iTunes Stores on your iPhone:
Change your iTunes Store country
Sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you'd like to use. TapSettings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region
Follow the onscreen process to change your region, agree to the terms and conditions for the region if necessary, and then change your billing information.

I changed my apple ID password and for some reason my daughters who have devices linked to my ID/icloud account are having trouble using i message. How do I help?

If you both share an Apple ID then she should just go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive From and make certain only her phone number and email address have a check mark. Have her Tap on any that are not her's and the check will clear and her Messages will work fine. Do the same on yours.

Updating country and regional maps with Nokia Suit...

Hi Folks
I am an E72 owner and a frequent user of Nokia Maps. Hence I use Nokia Suite to keep the map data up to date, time to time.
I normally download all countries by right-clicking the ALL item and choosing 'download all'. I thought I could download all available maps this way. But when all downloads are finished, I still can see some regional maps are NOT downloaded as the 'download' button is available for the regions.
Initially, I thought the regional maps of a country were NOT necessary if their country map has been downloaded simply because the country map should cover its all regions (comparing the map size of a country and its regions, and the regional maps were not automatically downloaded by default)
But it seems not that ture, at least for the latest map data v0.1.29.100.
As shown in the attached screenshot, for some countries, e.g.China, France, India, Italy, Spain and USA, some regional maps were automatically downloaded though most regional maps remain undownloaded (the 'download' button is available).
Why? Only those regional maps have been updated?
Do I really need to download ALL regional maps to keep all data up to date?

Whether Maps version is same or different is not the point. Even if the Maps version is different in both the cases it is being displayed the SAME way as OP ..only difference being the sizes of the data files ...

Apple Mail font and colour changes while typing!

I'm having an issue whereby the font and colour changes back to the default while I'm typing an email!
I have several signatures. When I select a signature and start typing, at apparently random moments, the font reverts to the default!
This will happen when I'm typing a line and, when it changes, if I cmd-z to undo my typing character by character - at some random point it suddenly reverts back to the signature font and colour.
Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a cause and/or solution?

I want to change my country and region via iTunes and add a visa debit card from u.s

I've created a new apple I.D for U.S But my Wells Fargo Bank's Debit Visa is being declined, or something doesn't match! Because I've activated the Card but when using AppStore app. it refers me to iTunes help without any specific problem, which usually turns red! And I'm currently out of U.S, so apple refers me to other countries that my I.D and Visa doesn't work. What's the matter? What should I do?

I have moved to the US and am having troubles with my Apple account. I have been into stores to have it sorted but it is still not right. I am trying to buy an application but it wont accept my American card and wont allow me to change addresses

You will only be able to update apps if you use the country's App Store that you bought them with. So if you bought apps in the U.S. App Store, you must be signed into that store in order to update those apps. Apps are always tied to the Apple ID that was used to purchase them and to the store in which they were purchased.
I must admit that I have no firsthand knowledge of this whole process, but I have directed other users as to how to change stores and they have responded that they have done so without issue. I don't see why you would lose your purchases when using another store, but I can't swear to it. But when I try to reason it out, it would make no sense to me - in the event that you picked up and moved halfway across the world - that you would lose all previous purchases when you move. To me that doesn't make sense. It makes sense that you have to sign into that country store in order to update apps, but it doesn't make sense to me that you have to lose them if you move or have multiple residences.
I have read stories here from users that have multiple residences in different parts of the world and from what I remember reading, these users signed in and out of stores, depending upon where they were residing at that time.
Now since you closed that credit card account on your previous country, you will no longer be able to purchase from that country's store, but updating apps is predicated on the fact that you already own them anyway.
I wish I had the absolute definitive answer for you, but this is the best that I can come up with.

It seems to depend on the country where you bought your phone.
In Australia, with a post-paid account I can have my carrier unlock the phone for free so I can use the phone on a pre-paid account in the States when I am there.
My carrier here gets paid regardless as I am on a 24-month contract.
