  • I just got my iPhone yesterday. Everytime I try to download anything it keeps displaying "Your Apple ID has been disabled." and I do not know what to do.  I sent off my e-mail to Apple last night and I am still waiting for a response.

I just got my iPhone 4 yesterday after having a Blackberry for 3 years.  Everytime I try to download any type of application it keeps displaying "Your Apple ID has been disabled."  Before activating my iPhone I downloaded the most recent iTunes.  I even went back today I reset my password after some minor research made the suggestion.  I sent an e-mail off to to Apple last night after their Apple tech was no help at all.  He is the one that suggested the e-mail and that he could not help me.  I am really frustrated at this point.  I am hoping that someone will be able to help me out.  I was extremely excited about getting my new iPhone 4 and now I am just over it!  Help please!!!

You need to contact iTunes support and send an email by following the link I posted.
    Simply going there does nothing.

    Hi there Amiliz1313,
I seems like you may have already done a few of these steps, but I would recommend going over some from the article below.
Apple ID: "This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons" alert appears
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2446
If you continue to have issues with your Apple ID, please refer to the "Additional Information" section at the end of the article.
    Hope that helps,

  • When I Try to update an APP it tells me my Apple ID has been Disabled

I try to update an APP or load an APP and after I enter my password it tells me that my Apple ID has been disabled. I have already reset my password a number of times, and no go. Thought maybe I could delete my account and start over. Any thoughts?

If you delete your account and start over all of the music, apps, etc. that you have purchased through the iTunes store would no longer be able to be updated. It is all tied to your Apple ID account and cannot be moved to another account. I would contact the Apple ID support.

  • TS2446 Can not play tracks due to "Apple ID has been disabled..."

I recently found some tracks that I bought from the Itunes store back in 07.  All of the info, including the album art transfered over to my drive.  After multiple authorizings/deauthorizings of my desktop, I still can not play these tracks.  I keep getting "This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons."  What gives??  Please help.   Thanx!!!

  • Groan..."Your Apple ID has been disabled."

I'm trying to buy a movie with Apple TV
    And I get the message:
Your Apple ID has been disabled
    MZCommerce.AccountDisabled.AppleTV_explanation
I reset the AppleTV to the default setting and restarted it.
But this will not go away. How do I fix this

Well, I think I fixed the problem.  It seems to have had to do with my confusion over the multiple Apple ID's I'd accumulated over the years AND the fact that the attached email contact address on the primary account was my gmail address.  Once I changed the email account associated with the ID to a non-gmail address, it seemed to do the trick.

  • TS4036 Your Apple ID has been disabled

We cannot update our ipod from cloud because we get the message "your Apple ID has been disabled".  We ended up starting over to get everything back on the ipod and the ipod shows that several apps have updates yet it wont let us update them because we get the message above.  Please help!!!

Forgot to mention how this all got started to begin with......I had hubby's ipod charging on my charger while connected to my computer and a button got hit in my itunes account accidentally by one of the kiddos.  It was to restore the ipod.  Itt wiped out hubbys ipod.  Mine is fine.  We have separate accounts.  Hubby didnt think it would be too big of a deal since he uses cloud and thought he could easily restore everything.  He has some expensive apps on there like netflix and doesnt want to lose them.  They are on there now but we cant update it because of the message "your Apple ID has been disabled".

  • TS2446 This Apple ID has been disabled (for no reason given)?

Due to the message "Your Apple ID has been disabled." on my daughter's iPad she can no longer update her apps. Apparently the status process will not even recognize a password change for the existing account or the use of another account (or different email address) since the process persists with the already existing account. I've tried changing the payment information, password, and account. There is nothing provided at the Apple support web site to assist with resolving this problem which I suspect is over money for an app upgrade that was rescinded because initially I did not recognize the charge. I'd gladly now pay but how?

...... which I suspect is over money for an app upgrade that was rescinded because initially I did not recognize the charge.
    Bingo!
The usual reasons for disabling an account are violation of the Terms of Use, or suspected fraud or misuse on the account.
As Gnome suggests, contact them and get it corrected.

  • I get a message -- Your Apple ID Has Been Disabled.

My Apple ID has been disabled for over a week now. I've gone in and changed my password and also changed my credit card. But I still can't get access to the iTunes store or buy any apps.
I've emailed Apple and their rep keeps telling me he will enable the ID, but nothing ever happens.
    Any ideas?

Thanks for the replies. I was on the phone with Apple for about a half hour and they tried to hook me up with the Chat Line, but couldn't do it. They told me to submit another email message to support. I did that. So far, no response.
    Apple ID is still disabled.

  • Your Apple ID has been disabled - what to do?

I get the message "Your Apple ID has been disabled" trying to update apps on my iPad, iPhone or on iTunes on my Win7 PC.
Support requests submitted to the web site get CLOSED quickly with no helpful information or email to me about it being resolved.  Someone or something at Apple's end decided the case is resolved.  And, it isn't resolved.
The account disabling was a result of a charge-back of $99.99.  I disputed the charge to my bank and the bank refunded the amount to my credit card account.
I'm at the mercy of Apple Inc and nobody over there is apparently listening or interested.
    Help!

    My billing arrangement with Apple
I don't associate a credit card to my Apple account
I don't associate a PayPal account to my Apple account
Instead, I buy Apple Store credit (gift card) from Walmart.com.  After Walmart.com emails the gift card code, I enter the credit into my Apple account.  I buy small dollar amount gift cards.  These extra steps are inconvenient but has the following benefits:
limits "impulse" buying from the App Store, iTunes, etc.
removes a third party (bank or credit card or PayPal) from future disputes
The small dollar amount helps limit my potential loss.
    /end/

  • TS2446 i have a problem in my account every time i want to install application from app Store on my iphone a message shows that my Apple ID has been disabled, what is the problem? what can i do ?

i have a problem in my account every time i want to install application from app Store on my iphone a message shows that my Apple ID has been disabled, i creat a new password and still that message shoes ,what is the problem ?can you help me please???!!!!

If your account is disabled then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
