Apple ID & iPhone4 Issue

I just purchased my iPhone4 today and at the same time created a NEW apple ID (changed email addresses). The issue is that I'm using the same computer, but when I do updates on my iPhone, it keeps giving me the "old" apple ID and not the new one I created. In iTunes the new ID is working fine. I've gone to settings/store on my iPhone to control and there I see the "new" ID, yet when I do updates or purchase something it goes to the "old" one and I can't change it...
Is there something I have to do in iTunes??? or direclty on my iPhone to have the "new" ID working...
Only IMAP accounts will sync in the way you describe, other accounts will not and you will need to delete or move the same email on each device.
You will need to use your me address if you want email in it, you'll need to send from it and get others to send to it instead of your other email accounts your me address is an IMAP account and so will behave the way you want.

Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
I wasted about 1.5 hours with Apple on this issue. It all started happening after I updated to the latest version of iTunes. I haven't been able to sync my iPhone 4 in 1 month and am freaking out about possibly losing my pictures, video, text messages and music.
Windows XP user.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Apple TV mirroring issues even with Mac mini,airport extreme bought at the end of last year,and an iPad 2
I have the same issue with ATV3 and iPhone 4S. Everything works properly, no buffering issues when watching netflix, vimeo, youtube BUT when I try mirroring even a small 15sec iPhone movie it stutters and buffers and results to a choppy playback..same with larger mp4 files such as 1-1.5GB, buffers forever and never plays, I just re-encoded the same movie to 700MB and plays perfectly..
Why Apple, why?..so close..I can accept the bigger movie files issue, but not being able to playback properly an iPhone movie is funny..I recorded a movie with lower bitrate through Filmic Pro (Economy mode, up to 16Mbps)
and plays properly.
Is there an upcoming software update going to solve the problem or is it hardware related and therefore not fixable.
Please don't reply with a network related answer, by 2012 we know how to set up our networks and everything else runs flawlessly.
I'll apreciate a fast answer, we love Apple, but if it can't play an iphone movie (or a high quality movie from iTunes) it's just not up to my standards.

I am getting entries which are 'all day' entries duplicated 8 to 9 times. I have updated my software on the phone to the latest version. Entries in iCal are only once. I have completely emptied my iPhone of all data. Has Apple resolved the issue yet?
Simple solution. Get a real internet service and not a cell phone internet connection service it was never meant to be used as the primary internet service
And how do you lose a home and job and be sued as you claim. What over 10 Gb of data? Give me a break

And over that amount you can go to a superior court to have your issue settled.

Apple Mail Font Issues with Outlook
Have apple fixed this issue with fonts changing and appearing differntly when you send emails to users on Microsoft Outlook. Most of the forums have message posts from 2011 but 2 years on you would think the issue would be fixed.
I have a whole team of computer illiterate staff and can't expect them to change the font format everytime they send an email. It looks so unprofessional sending emails out like this - next step is to switch to outlook for mac - any good feedback on this, I've heard if you have high volume emails working through gmail imap accounts that it just crashes all the time?
Any help or plugins would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your response. I am fully aware of what you have just said, and I do follow this basic protocol. The 'gripe' is that it seems that when we setup our message font in preferences one is under the impression this is the font that will be sent out. I later discovered this is only my screen font, and when we compose an email this font (for instance Arial 12pt) is not tagged in the outgoing message. In-fact it is left blank, and the receivers mail will change it to a default such as times new roman. However this seems to create strange changes on the receivers end and sometimes the font can come out huge or varying, there is no consistency and the email looks ugly, As a business owner, my email is my letter head, and is a communicational face of my business.
The issue could be easily resolved with an option for an Apple Mail user to set up what font they want their out going message to be in and for Apple Mail to actually tag that font in the message. Without the 'user' having to each time manually choose this font.
I always use Arial 12pt for my out going message, but it's frustrating that I have to each time select my text and change the font and point size, (which means my screen message font has to be another font and size otherwise apple mail does not pick up the change). What I, and from what I can see many people, don't understand is most Mail Software (if not all), except Apple mail, don’t have this issue. And if I used a different mail app I can choose my out going font such as Arial 12pt, and the receiver will see the same font (obviously providing it's a websafe font), and I don't need to keep telling the programme to make it Arial every-time I compose a new message. This would save time.
I know that this ‘gripe’ is not only myself, and that there is a large number of people out there also annoyed by this, and many Apple uses choose not to use Apple mail simply because of this reason. Which is a shame, because Apple mail in my opinion is the best mail app out there.
I don't expect the programme to be perfect, but this is basic user experience and basic functionality, so why can't Apple correct it? All the amazing features in the world are worthless if the basics ‘user experience’ is not friendly.
I really really hope Apple does something about it, or at least develop a plugin that we can download to sort it out for those of us who want to use mail as I have described.
Attachment Tamer has sorted out the whole compatibility and friendliness of attachments, and I can set up how I want my attachments to work, I do it once and don't have to think about it again. I did have to pay for this function. But I should not have had to. this is not a feature I should have had to plugin, it should come standard with Mail, every other mail software does, so it is a user expectation... And the same goes for how we set up our fonts, in Rich Text, I should only need to set it up once and not think of it again, a general out going font should be a standard function.
As I said, I do ‘put up with it’ mostly because I’m an Apple fan, and In general hugely happy with the Apple products. But should someone have to ‘put up’ with something like this, when it is something so small that should really have been sorted out years ago in the early versions of Mail?

It depends. If your still within warranty and the display failure isn't your fault you just back up your phone then go to any apple retail store and they'll give you a new one for free. If it is your fault I would still back up your phone and go into the store. Then they'll charge you about £150 and will give you a new one. But you must have your phone backed up. That will be the first thing they ask you.

Apple tv streaming issues with netflix

I have also used my apple tv for using my netflix streaming, for some reason i can access all the movies but when i click to watch them it states an error has occurred. I have now started using my wii u to access netflix and i have no issues. I havent changed any settings on my apple tv.Yes, I'm having the exact same issue since the latest update. I thought it was my internet connection but it worked perfectly fine in my ipad and macbook air.
I also have 2 Apple TV's and the problem is in both of them. I really hope apple fixes this issue ASAP.
In the meantime, if you wanna watch your netflix content on your apple tv with good streaming and you have an iPad/iPhone with netflix on it. I recommend Airplay mirroring the iOS device and then opening netflix, it will airplay the video content and the iphone/ipad screen will function as a remote control with all the settings and stuff...its kinda cool...the only bad thing is that you can't turn off the iPad/iPhone screen or it will pause the movie.

my IMAC will not start at all.i press the power button and nothing happens and i bought it a year ago. i tried everything but it seems that it is a know problem reported by other usersYou still haven't provided any useful information, the machine has a 1 year warranty and if it's less than 1 year old you can still buy AppleCare. If it is over 1 year old then you have missed your opportunity and will have to pay for any repairs. Known issues may only be known to you and a few others, it may not be wide spread at all. When posting you have to be very specific, we have no idea what you are thinking and cannot see or touch your machine so you have to be much more descriptive.

Apple has Major Issue with Podcast Updating
I have been getting reports from a large number of the folks we represent at RawVoice indicating they are having the same issue with the podcast listings updating in iTunes.
We are going to poll our 6000 podcasters and have them start watching this more closely. Everything has been working perfectly for such a long time most of us never check iTunes anymore.
It could be some update that iTunes is doing but it is negatively effecting many podcasters because the listeners do not know enough to hit Refresh on the subscription listing.
I know my download numbers are way down over the past week because it looks like I have not updated my show. Please check your podcast listings. If you see that they are not updating within a couple of hours of posting start submitting trouble tickets.
Something is broke and I don't think Apple is aware of it. I am getting standard boiler plate responses back from tech support. But if they have enough submissions then they will know something is jacked up.
Here is the info to submit a ticket, you will have to be persistent or you will not get a response.

Greetings! My Apple ID was an old e-mail address that was going to be discontinued so I updated my Apple ID with a new e-mail address. Now my iPhone is not linked to my account, and I cannot change my Apple ID from my iPhone settings. Any suggestions on how to solve this issue would be greatly appreciated! I didn't want to select "delete account" quite yet! Many thanks!
Settings> iTunes & App stores.
Tap your AppleID, Sign out then sign back in.
Settings > iCloud.
Delete account the sign back in.
Settings > Messages.
Turn off iMessages then turn it back on.
Same for FaceTime. -
I am using iTunes on my MacBook Pro, and when purchasing a song I'm asked to enter my password to my Apple ID (as usual) and when I do this, it doesn't seem to accept it. It however does not display an error message... It simply re-displays the box to enter my password.
I tried an incorrect password, and this showed an error message as expected, but when using the correct password... it doesn't want to work.
I have tried resetting the password and entering it in, but again for some reason this does not resolve the issue either.
I can download music from my iPhone, using the same password so I know the password is correct.. it is just when I try to use iTunes on my Mac it doesn't want to download anything!!
