Apple ID not recognised by iphone??
In the middle of trying to resolve some sound issues with my iphone, then i made the mistake of updating to the new ios in the hope it would resolve my problem.
It hasnt...
and now i cant get my phone to recognise my apple ID, just keeps telling me the password is invalid. Since im logged in here with the same details I reckon i know my password pretty well. Ive even changed it three times tonight to be sure. Still no luck!
Now the issue I have is that without being able to log into my account on the phone I cant turn off the new piece of crap 'find my phone' app, that seems to have been wonderfully integrated into the joys of the cloud following the new update. Until i can turn of this 'find my phone' thing off i cannot restore anything on my phone, which means that i cant do anything more about resolving my sound issues. So at the minute my iphone 5 is a glorified ipod that cannot connect the app store (also to note, that with thunderbolt it doenst connect to any of my old hifi kit, so it is infact a glorified paperweaight not even an ipod).
A little frustrated!
And to top it off for me i ordered my cto imac 12 days ago and its still showing as 'processing' when it should be on its way here by now according to apples claims on dispatch times. to be quite honest im almost through with apple and have a good mind to chuck this phone in the bin and sell the imac when it arrives, get myself a samsung galaxy phone and a dell desktop. the reliability of apple equipment and software certainly isnt good enough to warrant the extra pounds spent by the customer anymore! *** has happened to apple over the last couple of years??

I have not experienced any differences. Speculation about Apple products and policies is not allowed on the forum.
Just to address your concern about Activation Lock, is it possible that you had another Apple ID when you activated this device? Or, was this a used device? The Activation Lock requires the Apple ID and password of the original owner to activate. This is an anti-theft measure.

You have apparently purchased a jailbroken phone. You can try to get it into recovery mode, then restore as new, but no guarantee it will work.

Image capture will not recognise my iPhone?
Image Capture on my iMac with Snow Leopard, does not recognise my iPhone when I attach it. I have tried the same phone with a MacBook Pro without a problem. The Image Capture software is the same version on both computers. Can anyone help?

Why is iTunes not recognising my iPhone?
Hi, I was wondering if anybody here could help me. iTunes is not recognising my iPhone (4S iOS 6.1.3) although my computer is recognising it as a camera and is set up to automatically import photos - I'm not sure if that makes a difference. I looked on the Apple troubleshooting page for this problem and the support given was clearly for an older version of iTunes so it could not help me.
It would probably be helpful to note that my iTunes was recognising my iPhone perfectly fine before I updated it to iOS 6.1.3 last night.I should add that iTunes 'devices' in the prefs does show an iPhone backup from just before I installed Lion, however when I connected the first time, there was this issue. I have disconnected the iPhone and reconnected it, and now the iPhone comes up as connected to the backup, however the "sync" button is not present, but rather the "apply" one, suggesting I have made a change. So I guess it is all there and safe.

goodnight. as you know apple has evolved considerably until today but there are people who do not have ability to buy new products. in my case I would like to know why the apple do not let the iphone 3g update to iOS 4.3 as are several applications that can not put on my iphone 3g due to this reason. Why does not Apple make a repository with applications for ios 4.2.1? or else do not work in an update to ios 4.3 on iphone 3g?
This has nothing to do with Apple, as Apple does not make the apps.
This is the decision of the app maker.
Contact those app makers and ask them why they do this. -

Windows does not recognise my iphone after updating the software to 4.3
Drivers for my iphone does not have Software since i downloaded the 4.3 update, it is telling me to insert a disk and I do not have one.. Please help, I'm desperate. Phone does not restart or turn off, it continuously shows the the message where to connect the usb lead to itunes, but it is not recognised.

For this issue you might try a couple things.
First, try to restart the Apple Mobile Device service by clicking Start and searching for Services. Stop the service, then restart the service.
If that doesn't work, you can remove and reinstall iTunes.

Can any help. I want to transfer photos on my Iphone 4s to my PC, my computer will not recognise the phone when I connect via the USB port to the PC. Any Ideas would be appreciated.
Do you get any response from the computer when you plug the phone in? I'm guessing that you are going into Computer to see if you find the phone? If you go into Device Manager, do you see any errors in the USB area?

I run on a lap top & Vista ........ Itunes will just not recognise that my Iphone is plugged in. It is! H|ELP! Tried various things like installing / uninstalling etc but now in a position where i'm being told it's a windows issue but with no answer how to resolve.
