Apple ID password and birthday not recognized.
My Apple ID is hotmail and i can't access both my hotmail account and apple id. It says that my password is wrong and the problem is my recovery email address is no longer in use so it has been deactivated. None of the security questions are accepted and even my birthday! even if others go wrong, my birthday definitely cannot go wrong! why is this happening? i can't even erase and reset my phone without the password!
Thank you for the help. I went to this page and after trial and error I managed to remember my original Account Password. I have changed. I always thought this was my Apple ID. Anyway I have every id/email/password I can think of written down. When I signed on to the forum with my email apple id, which is embedded in my keychain and I had not changed I received the message that my password is incorrect. I was forced to change it again!!!! I am completely frustrated. What am I not understanding?

I changed my Apple ID password and successfully validated it. Problem is the iPad App Store won't recognise me anymore. if I select an App to update it asks me to enter password, then says "You have not verified your Application ID.Tap OK to view the instructions on how to verify your ID.".
A new pop up box then appears saying an email has been sent to my address. The box to resend this is greyed out and the bottom line says "your email has already been validated successfully. thank you."
Any suggestions on how to solve this problem and force the iPad to let me update or download Apps again?Same issues here. I try and log into face time and cloud, it tells me my email is not veryfied. I go back through the link sent in the verification email and, low and behold, it tells me my address has already been veryfied.
Getting really annoyed now. I have tried using a different email to log in with, but not even getting the verify email in my inbox, even after it states it has sent one.

Please help. I changed my apple id password and now cannot use facetime and my icloud continues to prompt me for my password and I continue to give it but, I repeatedly am prompted for the password unless I cancel the icloud. I have tried changing my password back to the password I had before and this did not work. I have tried to use another e-mail address for facetime and had verified that e-mail address and this did not work. I do not know how to fix this problem. I have thought about changing my apple id but am not sure how I would be able to carry over the same credit card number to the new apple ID. I loved my Mac book Pro because I could facetime my boyfriend while I am working away and now I cannot. I am starting to hate Mac.
The idea to jumpstart by change was not the smartest one, but gives you an opportunity to use that "temporary" account as permanent. You do not have a choice cause obviously despite you thinking that old account is no more -it does exist on Apple servers. And if you are unwilling to share your [email protected] with friend, just create one extra [email protected] for your friend. One suggestion - do not use gmail.

Thanks, but I've checked those articles out already. I drained the battery and finally got the needs charge (battery w/red line + arrow pointing to a charging bolt), I plugged the USB into the laptop and held down the start key +home key until I saw the apple logo. However, it still was not recognized by itunes. It's been plugged in for over an hour now and the screen is cycling apple logo/low battery (battery w/red line)/and black screen.

You reset the iClould password the same way you reset the Apple ID for the email address/account

You'd only get that message if iOS 7.0 Beta was installed on this phone. There is no fix. Either return the phone for a refund, or give it back to your boyfriend & have him get it fixed. -

You don't use your Apple ID or its password to install anything on your Mac. You use the admin account's name and password.
Use the name and password you last entered when resetting them. The "name" you use is not the short name of the admin account folder.
For example. If you create an admin account of John Smith, the short name given to that account's folder will be johnsmith. So when an app requests an admin name and password to install something, the admin name you enter is John Smith, not johnsmith. -

if that dose not work then you can always put it into DFU mode by connecting to your computer and holding down the home button and sleep/wake button for excatly 10 seconds and then relesing the sleep/wake button and keep holding down the homebutton till iTunes tells you it has detected an iPad in recovery mode then just do a restore

To find it, you must carry out a systematic search with Spotlight.

4. The search window will now show all the App Store products that are installed. Compare those search results with the list of your purchases from the App Store. To see the complete list, you may need to unhide hidden purchases. If any apps were download from the App Store using other Apple ID accounts that you control, sign in to the store under each of those ID's and check the purchases.
At least one of the apps in the Spotlight search results is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash, after quitting it if it's running. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
Quit and relaunch the App Store. Test.
