Im positive I've put the correct password while signing in store with my phone..
But it tells me "password incorrect".. but on PC it works..
any help?? pls..

Apple id password incorrect

Hello all
my friend got the iPhone 4s and he asked me to set up his phone
i created an apple id and password for him and started downloading apps with no probs!
the weird part is that whne i tried to ente the apple id and passwod on the general-----incloud part it says the apple id or password is incorrect even though i can download apps from the app store
any hints?
im thinking...if there is anything to do that i havent set icloud on his computer due to the fact taht his desktop is using windows xp which is not suported by icloud
but maybe thats an irrelevant case

Apple ID - password incorrect and reset not helping

I will try and keep this as short and to the point as I can.
Gave my wife my old iPhone, went to iCloud, Signed Out and created a new Apple ID, thinking this would solve both our phones from ringing at the same time etc. Instead I lost all my contacts. Tried to sign back in using my Apple ID and was told the password is incorrect. I know it isnt as I have been using the same one the past 6 years.
I then got a message to say my ID had been dis-enabled for security reasons. Tried the reset option, but not receiving the email which is supposedly being sent. Other option to answer security questions asks for birth date and this too I am being told is incorrect.
Please help, I have to try get my Apple ID back and more importantly all my contacts.

I havent backed up my phone before and need to do so as i am getting a replacement. My colleague has a new Apple ID. He logs in on the web without problems. He has changed the password. Logging in still works fine. But when trying to download a free app from App Store, he enters the e-mail address and (new) password. And the iPhone says the password is incorrect??
He has tried a few times, with the same result. We have deleted the cookies, history and all that stuff in Safari. Also restarted the iPhone. No luck.
(I on the other hand has had no problems at all).

My problem is that I changed my e-mail address (and thus my Apple ID ?) on my iTunes on my PC, and now when I try ti update an application directly from the App Store to my iPhone it asks me for the iTunes Store password on my OLD e-mail address/Apple ID, and when I enter the password that used to correspond to that ID it says wrong ID/password

This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID, verify the changes, enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

When you go to the My Apple ID website - are you able to sign in with your new password? What about the www.icloud.com website? If the password works in these two places, try deleting the iCloud account and adding it again on your iPhone.

Trying to change from Iphone 4 to Iphone 5, keep getting the message that my Apple ID password is incorrect, but it is not! Help!

I am trying to follow the steps to switch from my old IPhone 4 to my new IPhone 5s. I am having several issues.
1. My Iphone 5s is telling me my Apple ID password is incorrect, it is not.
2. When I first turned on my IPhone 5s, it uploaded my IPad information. I don't want that to remain on the phone.
I am going crazy trying to get this new phone going. I cannot afford the $29.99 one time support and cannot make it to an Apple store during the work week. Is there anyone who can help?

IF you have a backup for your iPhone 4, I suggest you to go on your new 5S to Settings / General all the way down to / Reset and then click on to Erase All Content and Settings.
PLEASE keep in mind that this will erase all the content of the machine and reset it to fabric.
Then, it will prompt again all the Configuration for the new iPhone, and when suggested to backup, choose the iPhone 4 one.
additional help: if you still have the iPhone 4 with all the data you want to copy, the quickest way its actually to back up to iCloud from the iPhone 4 and then do the Configuration for the new one... and shortly after connecting to a wifi network it will prompt you with a choose option between all your iCloud backups
