Apple ID still disabled after reset and change of payment methods.

I am needing to update my computer ASAP, however, apparently my Apple ID is disabled. I have reset my password, that did not work. So I updated my payment methods. It STILL does not work, and I am beyond frustrated. I have had so many problems with Apple (the only reason I still deal with apple is because of my Mac)
I have looked at several other threads that had advice that did not work for me. Is there any other ideas?

It could be disabled for any number of reasons, you should call Apple and ask. It's probably not a technical issue that we can solve, but an account issue: Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support

    If you have tried Apple's recommendation to reset your password, and it has not succeeded, then I suggest you contact Apple using the Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices)

    I had some issues a few months ago with someone using my account to download apps and told customer support about it. The money was refunded and the accound was disabled. Now that I've changed my email and password just to be safe I'd really like to be able to use the account again. I follwed the insturctions under FAQ and reset my password for my Apple ID. I can log on, change my info and such, but I just can't download anything. I still have money left over from an old gift card and I'd really like to use it. Is there something else I can do?

    I reset my Apple ID & password just fine online and can view/edit my account settings, but when I try to use iTunes (Windows) or the app Store on my iPhone 4, they both still tell me my apple id has been disabled??

    I've changed my password after I first gotten the apple id disabled messages on my ipad and iphone, but now it is still showing the message saying my Apple ID is disabled.... However, I can still log in with my recently changed password.  What is causing the message reappearing and how can I make it go away?  Help please!!!!

    If you are getting the message on your iPad then try logging out of your account on it by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it.

    You could also make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store. If it is defective they should replace on the spot.

    I had forgotten the password to my apple ID so I figured I may as well change the password, which I did with no problem. However I can't log into the iTunes store from either my iPod Touch (5th generation, bought today), nor my application on the computer. It gave me an error (-50) and told me to try again later.
    I can easily log onto my ID from the website, which I'm doing right now, but it's just frustrating to get this error message when I want to download a few necessary apps I bought the iPod for in the first place.

    Restart your iPhone. Try connecting to the iTunes Store.

  • I can't change iCloud payment method when App store uses different ID.

    Apple is emailing me telling me to change my payment method for iCloud storage.  This does not seem to be possible as it tell me to go to "iTunes and App Store" on phone or do it through iTunes but in both those cases I am using a different ID than the one I use for iCloud.  How do I change it?

    Never mind.  Sorted it out by signing out of buying ID on App Store and signing in with iCloud ID.

    Have you followed the rest of the instructions on the TS2446 page that you posted from i.e. if using an iOS device then log out of your account on it by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it.
    If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

    Does the Ipod see the network?
    It sure sound like the drop cause some other internal damage like breaking/loosening the connection to the  antenna. See:

    If your Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons, you have to contact Apple Support. Only the Account Security Team can activate it again. See this webpage on how to contact Apple Support in your country: There are either telephone numbers given or an email form:
