Apple ID wont let me connect to iMessage or FaceTime.
Please help. I can use my apple ID to connect to Istore but I cannot connect to iMessage or FaceTime. I get an error message asking to check my network connection but I can browse Internet and send receive email. Also unable to connect iphone4 toFaceTim.
- Go to Settings>General>Time&Date and m ake sure that it is set to automatic
- Go to Settingd>wifi and change the DNS to Google's 8.8.8.8

I recently bought a iphone 5 from my aunt. I went to AT&T to go activate and switch over phones. (I had a iphone 3gs). I later went home and tried to log into my imessage and facetime, but it wouldnt let me. I keep trying and it says "iMessage Actavation - Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try agian". I have wifi so my internet can not be the problem & and my internet on my phone works great. I can sign into my itunes and icloud witout any problems. I tried turning my phone off and on, restore the iphone and reset the settings. Ive also tried calling my company but said they couldnt help. And I called Apple and told me to the same time ive already tried doing. I dont know what to do anymore. And im hoping someone can help me out! Thank you!
One thing to remeber , this issue occurs because of poor wifi or internet connection. If this isn't fault in your case, try these because it happens in all products of apple like mac,ipad mini,ipod touch..
Check you apple id and sign in again.
Change you DNS to open DNS or Reset you network settings.
Reboot you iphone once. -

When you respond, also indicate which country and carrier you're using. Also, is your phone brand new? can you make a phone call / access the internet while on cellular? -

Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

The story is that I have an imac i7 that was still under Applecare when the logicboard coraked.
I brought it in for repair and got it back. Somehow imessage and facetime would never connect anymore and come up with connection errors yet everything else worked. I tried all tens or hundreds of suggestions over hte last few months and nothing worked.
So I resorted to a clean hard drive repartitioning and install of Mountain Lion.
To my surprise: it sill did not work.
That;s when I found an obscure post that I am quite certain is the problem: the poster had the exact some symptoms I had and NOTHING worked. Hrs of phone support etc. Until it dawned on him that he had a logic board replacement after which the issue occurred. He found that his serial was no longer the same as the original item and came up as invalid on the apple website and was not listed in the "About" of his iMac.
I immediately recognized the recent support symptom and motherboard replacement and checked the rest. And behold it is all exactly as he said. He had to bring it back to the service center and they put the original serial back in and everything worked again.
Here is my problem: months of troubleshooting have passed and my iMac went out of Applecare warranty. Support does not warrant an exception for the serial online and the service center wants to get paid I am not wealthy. This computer is my life and I need them to change the serial back to what it was when I purchased the machine. Can someone suggest how I get help. Apple is acting like M-soft in this respect.The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ... -
Why is my phonenumber not connected to IMessage or FaceTime?
My phonenumber is not connected to my IMessage or FaceTime. I tried to follow steps they've given me via Apple, but nothing works. I think it's because i downloaded the new updated version of iOS 7.0.4. After that there were steps i needed to confirm, but I kind of skipped all of them. Can someone help me with this?

I updated my phone to the new ios7 and since doing so I cannot connect to face time or iMessage. It says to sign in using my Apple ID in which I do and it says cannot connect check connectivity but am already connected to wifi??
back up to itunes>on the iphone turn off imessage and facetime>then setting>general>reset>erase all content>
Start as new iphone>check to see if working, if so>erase all content and settings>restore from itunes back up
if not working>Call apple -

I'm using an iPhone 6 64gb.
I recently bought my phone. HHowever I seem to find some difficulty with my iMessage and FaceTime activation.
It keeps saying "waiting for activation" for both the iMessage and FaceTime.
And when I tried signing in using my Apple ID, tthey said that I could not sign in, please check network connection and try again.
I've tried the various tips given by some people, bit doesn't seem to work too.
This include rebooting my phone, switching on and off the airplane mode during iMessage activation.
