    Greetings alex.bonifacio! I'm very sorry that you're having connection problems with your iPhone 5. While would love to help in any way I can, the device must at least be on an active line of service with Verizon Wireless in order for me to be able to make any changes.     Dear all,
    I would like your help because I have a problem which has been dragging the more than 1 year. He started in iOS 7 and since then he has been disturbing me. I've tried everything and still could not solve. I tried to contact the telephone support from Apple in Brazil, but said they have not even how to open a support ticket internally to check the problem. The attendant who spoke to me on the phone possessed a very limited knowledge of the product in which it lent support.
    What are 2 things:
    1 Several times my Google mailbox (Gmail) is appearing as gray (image1) and I can not open it. Other accounts from my iphone I open normally. I can only access the account again if I am in the task manager and make a kill in the mail app. and gotta open it again and hope to gmail account not be gray ... if gray again I have to repeat the same process described above.
    2 Often when I open this Gmail account, appears several messages with the date of 31/12/69 with title No sender and no subject.
    I can not do anything .. or delete, or open or anything. To solve this problem I have to give a kill in the mail app and try to open again to see if the error to the error ... but rarely for the first time. Sometimes was making this process more than 10 times and often do not get success.
    Already tried to do everything. Restore, delete account and create again, upgrade IOS, etc ... I have this problem since the IOS 7 and when he was my old Iphone 5. I am now an iPhone 5s and the problem remains.

    2- Muitas vezes quando abro esta conta do Gmail, aparece diversas mensagens com a data do 31/12/69 com titulo Sem remetente e sem assunto.
    Não consigo fazer nada.. nem deletar, nem abrir, nem nada. Para resolver este problema eu tenho que dar um kill no app do mail e tentar abrir novamente para ver se o erro para... mas raramente o erro para na primeira tentativa. As vezes ficou fazendo este processo mais de 10 vezes e muitas vezes não obtenho sucesso.
    Ja tentei fazer de tudo. Restaurar, deletar conta e criar novamente, atualizar IOS, etc... Tenho esse problema desde o IOS 7 e quando ainda tinha meu antigo Iphone 5. Agora estou com um Iphone 5s e o problema permanece.
    Pesquisei pelo google e vi que este problema não é novo. Tem relatos desde 2010, porém não consegui encontrar uma solução. Como a própria equipe da Apple me disse que não poderia abrir um chamado para encaminhar para o setor responsável, resolvi escrever aqui.

    I Have the same problem. And worse, I have 4 e-mail set up on my phone, 3 are gmail, 2 work fine, just one (the one I use for Apple ID and iCloud) isn't working.

    this week I decided I wanted to buy my iPhone 4, I put on my mobile phone operators toparents looking for an iPhone model 4, White, 32GB. However they informed me that AppleBrazil is no longer sending them any iPhone 4. They said it was for me to expect the arrival of the iPhone 4S.
    That is correct? Apple is losing money because the Brazilian mobile operators are not selling the iPhone 4. While the Galaxy's being sold and are passing the number of sales of the iPhone 4.
    **Note: I search all brazil mobiles operations and they dont sell the iPhone, they said for me wait iPhone 4S reach in Brazil.

    The 4S is coming. Apple has stopped shipping the 4 because they didn't expect anyone to buy them with the 4S available. You will have to wait, or buy a used 4.

  • The iPad's hardware system doesn't work.

    I have an iPad 2, which won in 2013 and today the hardware operating system this product is fail, as the screen freezes, it turns on and off alone, applications open and close alone. In 2014 and now the screen is just flashing with lime-green color, which does not allow display the menu or settings and neither Homepage and often shutting alone and can not reconnect the unit, by simply not ascend the operating system so effective.
    I took the product back to the company OMNI Computer Apple Support Brazil in Curitiba -PR, and this gave the report that my warranty is quenched to receive a new product and that I receive a new iPad 2 I should pay the amount of R$ 990.00. However , the problem that clomplaint is not collateral or other , but that the Apple operating system does not work.
    I contacted Apple support over the phone and was told that at the time he took to OMNI iPad, I still had 38 days of warranty.
    Besides Apple and OMNI violate the Code of Consumer Protection , targeted to abuse my rights , ratify the information cited , I have had to date many annoyances, such as stress, mornings and weekends lost without resolutions .
    Have I contacted the phone to Apple support again and many records there own links, ordered procedures to remedy this situation , the items were scored for solution : take the iPad for Assistance and restore it .
    I performed the two steps, but nothing concrete had company OMNI and Apple, nor a constructive feedfack and that could solve everything without the need for other means of resolving facts .

    Please just ask a question, we don't need a story about the history of the device.  Explain the symptoms and maybe someone can help.
    Based upon what I can understand from your post, try the standard troubleshooting...
    1. Remove apps from the Recently Used (multi-tasking) list...
    - From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
    - Swipe up on the app preview card to remove it from the list
    - Press the home button when done.
    2. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider.  Slide to power off.  Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.
    3. Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
    4. Restore with your backup.
    5. Restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.  You may need to try DFU mode (Google for it).
    6. If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

    It's been years since Siri was launched and still no Portuguese? Doesn't Apple think Brazil and Portugal are a good market? They charge 3x more for an iPhone in Brazil, compared to the US, and still don't deliver the full experience. It is a shame!

    My Macbook 2.16, with only five months of use, burned the logicboard alone. I do shutdown, and it never turned back. Simply died.... :_(

    I am informed that all parts and equipment that came to Brazil, is dependent on a single company and is not Apple Computer Brasil LTDA. Apple in Brazil has a phone customer support, which accompany each application, and that they are just not finding more excuses for delay of repair.
    However much time has passed, much like that Apple USA, providenciasse the support necessary to meet its customers including Brazil.
    I know that I live far away, but love Apple, in the last 15 years has never had a disappointment so great that love with a brand.
