Apple in store pick up in Italy

Can I utilize the in store pick up option here in Italy if I made my online purchase using the US Apple store?  If I'm paying with dollars will I have to pay the difference?

No, you'll need to purchase it in Italy; online or otherwise. Of course, you will be paying with Euro's.  An alternative would be to purchase it in the US, have it shipped to a valid address in the US, then ship it to Italy, privately.

    I placed an order for a Macbook Pro on November 11, 2014. Scheduled an in store pick up where Best Buy estimated pick up date is November 14. I didn't receive the email or text to pick up the item, so I decided to call 1-800-best-buy to see if I can get the new estimated pick up date. I was told by the representative the laptop is actually already at the store, and waiting for me to pick it up. I called the store to make sure, and was told that I can pick it tomorrow morning. I called in today was placed on hold for around 15 minutes. Decided to call 1-800-best-buy again, and found out that it will take another 3-5 days before I get my laptop. I asked the representative to change the pick to another store that has the laptop available right now. It was change since around 10 am in the morning. I called the store to make sure that they got my order, the Manager told me that once the truck deliver more laptop. I will be able to get mine, and I should call in the afternoon to check on the availablity. I called around 5 pm to check, and was told that even if there is a laptop. I would still need to wait until best buy process my order. Called 1-800-best-buy again, and was told that Apple usually take 3-4 for hours to verify the information. Right now, my order status is still "Preparing Order".
    My Questions: How long will it take for Best Buy to finish Preparing Order?
    Why does it show on the website that if I order by 8 PM I wil be able to pick up the laptop today. Meanwhile, the store pick up was transfered since 10 am this morning, and at 10 PM tonight still nothing.
    If I cancel my order, will I get all of my reward zone certificates back?

  • Order online or check at 10 every night for in store pick up?

    I already ordered my iPhone 5. The estimated delivery date is between the 30th and November 5th. I sold my 4S in order to get the 5 so now I'm stuck using my old crappy droid and would really like to get an iPhone as soon as I can.
    I spoke to an employee at the Apple Store and he suggested that I cancel my order online and take my chances getting it for in store pick up.
    My question is, is it almost a certainty that I will find iPhone available some night at 10 available at my local store for in store pick up sooner than I would receive it in the mail?

    In the US, on-line ordering will begin at 0001 on September 20
    via Apple website. I have not seen anything for other countries.

  • Asked for iPhone to be shipped but received "in-store pick-up"

    I clearly selected the option to have my iPhone 4 shipped to me, but the system came back with "Cannot process request" and confirmed an in-store pick-up. Sounds like this happening to others as well. Think there is any chance to get Apple to change the order to have it shipped??

    I believe they don't offer the instore pick up at this time. Only delivery to house only. I can confirm this because I was at the apple store yesterday to ask when the line will start next week, and I have asked many questions about the pre-orderings and what not about the iphone 4S. They said the pre-order is for delivery only this time around and that there is no option to pick it up in store directly.

    Unfortunately this time around, all pre-orders are being delivered directly to your house, there is no option to pick up directly in store as I have just pre-ordered mine like 1 minute ago.     I already "preordered" an iphone 3G S for in store pick up earlier this week. Now of course, they are offering delivery to my door, and a guaranteed iphone in my pocket by June 19. Would there be an issue or weird overlap if I just pleasantly ignore the in store pickup request and go ahead with ordering the phone online for delivery?

    You should have received a confirmation email from Apple which includes an order number and an 800 number to call Apple. Call the number and ask if you can have the order switched to delivery. Your answer will be one of two things. Yes, let's do it or No, but we can cancel this order and then you can place a new one for home delivery.

  • In store pick up fraud

    i found out my credit card has an unauthorized charge at apple store. I dispute the charge already. Apple says it was an in store pick up. Don't they have any document of who was the person picking up the stuff? I know u need to show ID in order to pick up the stuff, don't they have camera or anything that can find out who stole my info and made the purchase?

    My suggestion is to bring up the matter to the store manager.  Meanwhile, you can also ask the police to look into it as well if the manager is uncooperative.
    I would also call 1-800-APLCARE and ask to speak to Apple Customer Relations.   They might be able to help you isolate the issue.
    You are posting to a user to user forum here, and no one really has the tools to help you.

  • Dismal esperience - Buying an Apple TV from the UK Apple online store.

    I recently ordered an Apple TV from the UK Online store. As I pushed the order button i relaised that Apple UK uses a courier service - Syncreon - that in turn used a subcontractor UK Mail. Thse require that you remain home to receive the parcel. I live alone and also cannot use my workplace as a delivery address. It is impossible for me to stay home for the better part of a day waiting for a delivery. I called Apple support to ask if they could use the UK Royal Mail. They repiled that htis was not possible. I then asked if I could pick the ATv up at the UK Mail depot. To my dismay I was told that this was at Milton Keynes - 68 Km from my work place. The ATv would however be available after 18:30. I deciced to drive up to Milton Keynes - only to find that the driver had not come back and would not be in until well after 22:00. I therefore had no choice but to drive home - another 70Km  - 130Km driven without result. I have had no choice but to cancle  the order! I am a long term Mac user and have shopped at the Apple Store in France and Germany. Here the postal service is used and I have always been able to go to my local PO to get the item. Apple states that signature is needed for an ATv. Based on this really dismal experience I wil never use the UK online store again. To add insult to injury - my nearest Apple Floor stores involve me driving for over an hour or taking the train to central London. This adds a good 20£ to the price of the ATv. So - no more online orders from me in the UK.

    when using such courier services I often missed them because i was at work then they leaft a number I could call and arrange some other time they could come around or a place I could come to pick it up
    located in Denmark though so not sure if the courier services apple use here are less upright about it

  • Is there a way to contact an Apple Retail Store by email about a poor repair?

    I brought my MacBook Pro into an Apple Retail store for a repair about a month ago, got it back a week later, and it's worked horribly since.
    They either damaged my battery or gave me a different one because not only does it have physical damage now that I look at it closely but it holds absolutely no charge at all anymore.  Fully charged, I get about 15 minutes of use when my laptop is unplugged.  Also, my computer has suddenly developed an awful lagging problem; I have to reset the date and time whenever my computer restarts or shuts down; and I can no longer log into my iTunes account. 
    Is it possible to contact the Walt Whitman Apple Retail store through email instead of calling Apple's 1-800 number?

    Unfortunately I was never really able to get any satisfactory help from Apple.  I've always viewed their customer service as a high point for them but walked away very dissatisfied in this instance.
    Any number I called said to take the MacBook Pro back to the Retail Store which did the original repairs, I did that, but they insisted it wasn't covered by the 90 day warranty because it wasn't related to the original repair.  I told them I've never had battery, lagging, or iTunes problems with this laptop until I picked it up a week earlier from Apple but they basically told me I was mistaken and would have to pay for additional repairs.
    I've been a pretty loyal customer and not looking to get over on anyone.  I'm very dissatisfied with my experience and since I now can't trust that bringing my MacBook Pro into Apple will result in an actual repair without further damage I'm stuck browsing laptops from Dell, Sony, and HP.  Does anyone have a suggestion on these brands?

    Only Apple can tell you that, so ask them directly.
    Also, your friend will not be able to buy you an unlocked phone on launch day, because unlocked phones will not be available on launch day - the T-Mobile phone is not unlocked but sim free and there is a difference.
    Unlocked phones will not be available until at least 2 months after launch - so take your pick, wait 3 to 4 weeks to get one or two months.

  • Ordered on Apple site today, picking up today

    My upgrade date is today, so I had to wait to order.  Ordered iPhone 6 (Space Gray 64gb) on Apple.com today, picking up at local store TODAY. (King of Prussia, PA)  How can Verizon have it so wrong? My Dad preordered his last week, and it he says it still says processing.  He is going to try and cancel his preorder, as I recommend everyone does! 

    I'd love to do this. Unfortunately I want to take advantage of the $200 credit for a trade in on the iPhone 6. You can only do that through Verizon stores.
