Apple logo frozen HELP ME PLEASE..err 1603

all my stuff is still on my lap top on itunes...
my ipod touch is like frozen with the apple logo in the middle of screen..
i have tried to reset it using itunes..connected with usb cable and all...
error 1603
it acts like it is going to reset and then the error message comes..
i have restarted my comp and changed usb ports and all........
i am so upset...please someone help me out.....

Boot from the original Install disc that came with the computer and then format the drive Mac OS Extended (Journaled) using the GUID partition. Then you can re-install OS X. If you no longer have the original media call AppleCare with the serial number of the machine (look on the bottom of the stand) and for a nominal fee they will ship you replacement media.
The chances are very good you will have fan problems if you used an off-the-shelf HD, beginning in 2009 Apple began using HD's from vendors that incorporated heat sensors into the HD. If you did not buy the same type of HD your computer will think the HD is overheating causing the fans to run at full speed.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- Try another cable
- Try on another computer

Have you tried rebooting your iPad?
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that does not work, you can try restoring your iPad iOS Software.

Make sure that you read the article all the way through and pay attention to the last part that talks about using recovery mode.

It keeps on restarting everytime it is charge and then when unplug to power. just off.. seems like the battery is drained but coudn't charge it properly since it keeps on restarting..

This will probably not help, but try it first.

Stuck on apple logo....please help!!!!

My iphone 3gs was working fine and then I plugged it into my laptop and it started to freeze occasionally and restart. At this stage it was restarting properly and going back to the normal home page. However eventually the home page no longer loaded. It kept restarting so often that the new software update couldnt be loaded onto it so I did a complete restore through DFU mode. The all appears fine on my laptop....the ipod shows up and I can see its info and even check what things to sync on it. I can see too that the restore has happened as there is loads of memory space on it again. However the phone still keeps restarting and won't show anything other than the apple logo. I don't know what else to try, I've already tried restoring it twice and I don't want to have to wait for an appointment at the apple store next week...I need my phone!! Has anyone got any ideas as to what to do??

do a full reset and recover from backup, and be patient this time, allow the prcoess to complete. Upgrades can take hours to finish, many people disconnect or try to restore the iphone before its finished updating, flashing itself and rebooting.

Apple logo frozen with loading

Hello, I wish to bring a problem to the light. So I had this Ipod, somehow it turned off. Now when i start it up, the apple logo comes up for 15 seconds, then the screen glitches and a loading thing comes up over the apple logo. I provided a picture of what it looks like. Please help!

MacBook Pro won't boot up past the Apple logo! Help! :(

I had to force the computer to shut down as it refused to force quit.
I Have tried everything I can (Disk Utility - Repairing the disk.. even though the results came up as OK.. Ive re-installed Mountain Lion..) and had no luck!! The grey screen with the Apple logo and spinning wheel just stay there!
Also, it refuses to go into Safe Mode, after holding shift the loading bar only loads up to almost half-way and then it disappears.
Please help!!

I'm having the same problem with my macbook. Apple logo and spinning wheel. I saw a video on youtube that said to reset prm and also to remove both sticks of ram and trying to boot one stick at a time (due to problem possibly being caused by faulty ram) I also tryed booting from disk and booting from safe mode, but everything has failed. All I get is the Apple logo and spinning wheel. Does this mean the hard drive has failed? Or is there another fix that I might try? If it is the hard drive it would suck, but I could go buy another one and replace it, but what would really suck is if it wasn't the hard drive to begin with. Can anyone please help?

Ok, this is the story so far! My son originally had a Samsung Genio phone this was with Vodafone. When I got him the iphone he said he wanted to use the number he had with Vodafone. As the iphone was with Orange, I just bought a bog standard sim which I put in the phone to register with Itunes. I got a PAC code from Vodafone to use this number with the new Three Sim. This is in the process of being transferred over from Vodafone to Three. From what you've said so far, it seems that I need also a PAC code from Orange? Have I understood that correctly? If so, what do I do? Wait until the change over completes or do I still need a PAC from Orange and if so how do I tie these numbers together?

Iphone just coming up with apple logo desperate help needed

I just updated my iphone to version 2.0.1 and synced it. All was well until I went into Settings. It froze. So I turned off and turned it on again, the apple logo came up as usual but now thats all it gets to its frozen on the apple logo. I've tried resetting and I'm now trying to restore but iTunes won't read it. Help!!!

The above posters were close. What you have to do is put your iPhone into DFU mode and restore to 2.0.1.
1. First, plug your iPhone into your computer. This might turn it on, so hold power and home together just until the phone turns off and let go of both buttons.
2. Now, with your phone connected, press and hold power and home for exactly 10 secoonds.
3. Release power as soon as you counted to ten and continue holding home for 10 more seconds.
4. iTunes will recognize that you have an iPhone in recovery mode, though it is actually in DFU mode.
Restore as usual.
