Apple logo pops up and there a grey loading bar underneath it and then once the bar is loaded the computer turns off. Help please
My charger has a shortage in it and now everytime I start the computer the apple logo pops up and there a grey loading bar underneath it and then once the bar is loaded the computer turns off.
Time to visit an Apple repair station.

Let the battery fully drain. It may take awhile. After charging for at least an hour. If the iPod does not cycle on and off any more try:

After I slide to power off my iphone 3GS it would not turn on again.Only the apple logo comes on and then it is off. If I connect to the power the apple logo comes
and then it comes on . I have just used itunes to restore my iphone. How can I make my iphone work again?Keep using it untill it powers off, then charge it to full to re-calibrate the battery.
If problem persist, maybe your battery needs to be replaced. -

My charger connects with my computer with a very faint green light (not the normal orange light) and can maintain the computer turned on but does not charge the battery. The power source to keep it on is the power adapter and that it's "Not charging" on the battery settings. And my charger seems to charge other computers fine.
The part of my mac where the adapter (L-shaped, magnetic) attaches is a bit damaged - a small piece of the white case/body around the part where the adapter attaches is broken off, but that's just an outer damage.
I don't know what's wrong with my computer, and if anyone has had a similar experience or knows what's going on, it'd be tremendously helpful!

Doubtful an upgrade would fix a hardware issue. If you are thinking of upgarding to Lion, best to do all necessary maintenance first.

While syncing my Iphone the computer turned off and now Itunes doesnt read the connection. A message appears that I have plugged in my camera on my pc.I have gone through turning every thing off and on and re installing Itunes but still no luck. Any suggestions?
If iTunes cannot see your iPhone.
First, try soft-resetting your iPhone. Press and hold sleep/wake and home button, ignore the slide bar - keep pressing.
When you see the Apple logon, let go. When the phone has restarted, plug into PC. Will iTunes see iPhone now?
If not, you'll have to do a DFU restore - please note that this will wipe everything on your iPhone. If you have a recent backup (iTunes does this by default), then you're in luck and you can restore everything back.
If not, then...hmm well... Oh bum. Maybe you have an iCloud backup? I haven't tried this so I can't comment.

Problems installing OS
I have an iMac 21.5 (mid-2010) and I'm trying to install a new hard drive. When I choose the installation disk the Apple logo comes up and it stops there. Then the mouse and keyboard goes dead. I'm trying to install 10.6. Any help would be appreciated. ThanksSince you have a new hard drive, there is nothing on it, so you need to boot from an external source (and probably format the hard drive before installing an OS). Are you booting from the 10.6 install disk? Better yet - do you have a bootable backup clone or at least a Time Machine backup?

WahyuNo, but it sounds like a hardware issue or perhaps a bad hard drive.
If you boot in verbose mode (hold down command-V at boot) do you see some words that indicate where in the process it's failing? -
i cannot get my ipad to respond. The apple logo appears and then a white line with a locked box and the end and Itunes logo. That is it. pushing my respond button does nothing.
YOU ARE IN RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary. -
I clicked on the software update, acted like it was updating, and now it just has a blue/turqois screen. I have tried to reset it by holding down the on/off button
and home button at same time, and the apple logo shows up and them goes back to the same screen. Please help...Try:

When I try and open Quicktime the computer switches off and reboots. Help!!
I have been converting DVDs to MP4 to play on my new IPod Video. When I click on import in ITunes the computer switches off and reboots. I have reinstalled Quicktime but this has made no difference. I tried opening Quicktime and I had the same result. Any help would be appreciated.
Windows XPThanks for the quick reply. The computer reboots even when I only open Quicktime without running an MPEG4. I think the problem is with Quicktime but have no idea what it is.

My new iphone 4s would not discover bluetooth. I called apple, and the guy was great!!! He told me to hold the top button and the home button together and do not let go until the apple logo came up, this would do a hard reset. Then when it reboots, you turn on your bluetooth in paring mode, and then turn on the bluetooth on your iphone 4s and it will find your bluetooth device. Simple, yet it works!!! Hope this helps those of you having the same problem I was having trying to connect your bluetooth.

AS soon as I turn on the the mac, the apple start up screen is intitated and then it simply shuts off. I am not sure what to do.....any advise?
.. be sure the power adpater is supplying power to your Mac. Do you see the green LED on the magnetic plug? If not, the power cord could be disconnected at the adpater block.
.. next, reset the SMC for your Mac.
.. you can try to start your Mac in Recovery mode.. as you restart, press the "R" button until it boots. And go from there.
