Apple Logo Stucks while boot up song is playing

So, since I found the problem, the music of the booting is hearing. BUT the screen is stuck with the Apple Logo and the "beach circle" frozen. Any problems with that?
Please help !!!
Thank you

Try using Disk Utility to do a Disk Repair, as shown in this link, while booted up on your install disk.
You could have some directory corruption. Let us know what errors Disk Utility reports and if DU was able to repair them. Disk Utility's Disk Repair is not perfect and may not find or repair all directory issues. A stronger utility may be required to finish the job.
After that Repair Permissions.
No need to report Permissions errors....we all get them.

  • Apple Logo Stuck While Booting (Macbook Pro 15 (Late 2007)

As I have installed Mac OS X 10.7.2, I tried to put it on my computer on the Macbook Pro 15 (Late 2007) I tried everything to make it work. It just still shows with a Apple logo with the "beach circle" on it. Once i turn it on, I just know that the software went in but It does not show the screen about it.
    Please help if you can.
    I want this to work

    oo close. but no.
Once you download the recovery disk assistant, doublt click it and it'll open up an installer. This installer will ask you where you want to install the RDAssistant. Make sure you choose your USB drive not your hard drive. Name the usb drive before doing this if it is unclear which is which.
    something like "MyUSBdrive" or "LionRecoveryA".
And then proceed to install it on the usb.
Once you have done that you will plug it into the computer that you can't get into and run the usb through that. To get to the usb recovery partition, you'll have to hold option down to get to the drive.
if this doesn't work, go to an apple specialist (apple store) who can assist you directly.

  • My iDevice is stuck while booting!

My iPod touch 2g is stuck while booting, I have tried used the buttons to put it into DFU and out again. Does anyone here know how to get it unstuck? (other than restoring it)

If resetting by holding the sleep and home button for 10sec until the Apple logo comes back again does not work, restoring would be the only other step.

Nah - that's just the normal boot process.

  • How do I display song lyrics while an iTunes song is playing?

How do I display song lyrics while an iTunes song is playing?

songs purchased in iTunes don't come with the lyrics. you could, however teadious, find the lyrics online, copy and paste them into the comments section when right click and select "get info" and go to info.
after that whatever you place in those comments will show up on an ipod touch or iphone. therefore you can see lyrics if thats what you put in there.

  • Mac stuck on apple logo, can't boot to disk utility...

    iMac 2010 running Yosemite.
Stuck on apple logo with loading wheel but does not progress from here. Have booted in single user mode and proceeded to do the /sbin/fsck -fy steps until the volume was reported as okay, this did little to help. I can boot using the option key and can see the hard-drive and recovery partition are there however cannot boot using command+R to access the disk utility as it simply stays on the apple logo.
Was wondering if anyone could advise what to do from here.
    Thanks in advance.

    Have you tried safe mode?

  • IPod nano stuck on Apple logo; won't boot.

I have an iPod nano that seems to charge, but won't boot. There's no sad iPod logo or anything, just the Apple logo. I can boot it into diagnostics mode, and it seems to be fine. However, it won't go into disc mode.
    Any advice?

This tread (http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=723183) is about the same problem you're having. At some point it's said:
"Hold down Select / Menu (to reboot the iPod)
As soon as the Apple logo appears, hold down Rewind / Select until...
...you see a backwards Apple Logo.
At this point, you will have entered Diagnostic Mode. It'll test the RAM, and then tell you to HIT PLAY TO CONTINUE. Hit 'Play'.
You'll be in a menu that you advance by hitting FF (Fast Forward). Advance to the 'DISKMODE' entry.
Hit 'Select.' This will put you into Firewire Disk mode. The screen should change to the familiar 'Do Not Disconnect' mode. At this point, connect it to the computer.
Run the restore utility; it should now recognize the iPod and offer to Restore the factory software. Do so. You'll lose whatever's on it, but you'll avoid having to send it back in to Apple and paying repair fee."

  • Stuck while booting in single user mode. How to go back?

Guys. I'd appreciate your advice very much - this concerns my main system.
MacBook 3,1 with OSX 10.5.? (latest)
Did: activate single user boot in Onyx; reboot
Problem: stuck at boot (apple logo & spinning wheel  on gray background for 2hours+). Persistent across reboots.
No different results for this key combinations: cmd-opt-p-r, power button for 5 sec whilst without battery/cable, cmd-s, C (possibly not recognized due to firmware password) Power button held down from switch-on moment makes the light flash a few times, produces a beep but no improvement.
Interestingly pressing alt lets me choose the os (HD or Leopard install disc) but gets stuck the same way regardless. It boots into Ubuntu tho.
I have a TIme Machine disk that I can restore from, and can read from the internal Leopard HD while in Ubuntu.
So, please: how do I get it to boot? I'd set the nvram bootargs="" but from where...

Sorry, don't know how you'd recover from the apparent limbo you're in, but this would agree with the explanation you already hit upon.

  • Won't start past apple logo, won't boot from install disc

mbp penryn 2.4 core 2 duo won't boot past apple logo. Running mtn lion 10.8... inserted Snow Leopard install disc, held down C key, only get a grey screen.Recently installed new HD, (seagate 750 Hybrid), upped ram from 2x2 to 2x4. All has been running very smoothly (and much cooler) for the past 3 weeks. Then this, prompted apparently by the mac going to sleep w/o being plugged in. Ran battery down, I suppose? Happens frequently.
    Any suggestions?

    ds,
"You might have ruined the RAM by handling it and touching the contacts.
Once you put new good RAM into the machine, reset SMC and PRAM then boot it up."
On the odd chance that I did ruin my ram I replaced w/ 4gb brand new ram, reset SMC and PRAM, then attempted to boot. Still a grey screen. Also re-attempted to put mbp into target mode, but no luck there either, nor with ejecting the Snow Leopard install disc via option/trackpad method, both on startup and while running, and no luck there either. I have a second Penryn mbp that I could salvage for a spare part if I knew what the problem might be. So far I get the idea from your responses that my machine SHOULD be rebooting, but for some reason isn't.
    If this helps:
I hear, consistently on attempting startup, fans powering up, then two short whirrs as if a drive head is moving,  then when the fans quiet down after 30-45 seconds, another short but different whirr, then only quiet fans and a grey screen.
Thanks in advance for any reply.

  • Power Mac G5 apple logo stuck and fans running full speed

    HI everybody,
I have been looking around in many forums and i noticed that a lot of people encountered a similar problem. Unfortunately untill now, nobody could give a real suggestion on how solve this issue.
In few words, my G5 (late 2005) 2gh 5gb ram 10.5.8 get stuck to the apple logo (grey initial screen) without going trough the start up. After a while the fans start to run full speed.
I have tried several solutions....but nothing so for.
I have reset the SMU button.
I removed all the ram slot and changed position.
The HD is ok and empty.
I even tried to warm the logic board with an hair drier as i read in a discussion...and i don't know why, the G5 could go trough the start up. Since it was active, i run the apple test. Result: All Ok
After rebooting successfully for 4/5 times, i switched it off. The morning after the G5 was dead again.
    I am kind of lost.
    Any suggestion?
    Tnx

  • Ipod touch apple logo stuck

iPod Touch 4G. The device is stuck showing the Apple Logo...will not power on or power off. If I press Home and Sleep buttons together it powers off and then immediately powers back on, still showing the Apple logo. Nothing else.

Well there are many verisons of iOS 4.x. The .ipsw is pretty much the operating system in one big restore bundle so you can quickly update it.
Does it get recongnized by iTunes?

  • Apple logo frozen while download

High while I was downloading the new upgrade my phone froze. It has apple logo and status of download on the screen. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix the problem? I tried to turn it off but cannot do it as it is frozen. Other than trying to take out the battery and resetting , is there any other solution you can offer?

Looks like too many people are doing upgrades and the Apple servers can not handle it :-(

  • Apple logo, phone will boot no further, have tried all standar reboot suggestions, but cannot get beyound logo

my phone is stuck at the apple logo, it will not reboot, have tried all stanadard reboot techniques, but no luck, even left the phone battery die, still no luck.

    Hi kjsav7,
When you state you have tried all the standard reboot techniques, does that include recovery mode?
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond or doesn't turn on - Apple Support
If your device gets stuck during startup
When starting up, you might see the Apple logo or a red or blue screen for a long time, or your device might restart again. Try these steps:
Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
Put your device in recovery mode.
When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
    Take care,
    Nubz

  • HT1349 My ipad has the apple logo stuck on it.  How do I get rid of it?

I can't get my iPad to work.  The Apple logo is frozen on it.  I can't get it off to get it working again.

There are two things to try. If the first thing you try fails, try the next.
    Two Button Reset.
This is the least likely to result in loss of data.  Read that again, especially the phrase "least likley."
Unplug the iPad from the computer.
Press and hold both the home and the sleep/wake buttons (ignore the red slider) until you see the silver Apple logo.
When you see the logo, let both buttons go.
If this worked, you should see an icon instructing you to connect to iTunes.  My guess is that the reset did not work.
    DFU Restore
This will very likley result in loss of data.
Plug the iPad into the computer.
Ensure that it is running the latest version of iTunes and that it has access to the internet.
Press and hold both the home and sleep/wake buttons for exactly eight seconds.
Release only the sleep/wake button but continue to hold the home button for another five seconds.
Let go of the home button, then look at the computer screen for an instructional popup.
The popup should say "iTunes has detected a device in recovery mode. . .(etc)"  Click accept to all boxes and let iTunes download and install all of the latest device Firmware and Software.
If no popup appears, repeat the above DFU instructions.  If you 've never done a DFU, it may take about three attempts to get the timing right.
