Apple needs to get with the program!
This iMessage problem is a real hastle. It is getting old...fast!
It seems that Apple is aware of the issue and working already on a fix for that that should be released "immediately"

Hi.
Man, what a difference between iMovie '04 and '08. I'm getting stuck everywhere but still clunking along. I'm trying to use iMovie for animated slide shows from still images. There's not a lot of help out there on this application of iMovie. I've imported 60 or 70 images from iPhoto and added a ripple transition between each image. Ive added two songs from iTunes, but I cant get the ending right. There's about 3 or 4 seconds of song left unheard/unplayed after the last image shows.The whole thing comes to a rather abrupt fade. What I'd like to do is time things so that the last image plays, fades to black, the audio fades out, and the show is over.I'v been messing with the "manually fade audio"
box, with no luck. I also can't change the last transition from ripple to fade to black. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Ideas anyone?Do you have an hour to spend watching and actively using the on line tutorials?
I was kind of lost at first too, but by utilizing the tutorials on line (over 25 if I am not mistaken) I was able to cut my first project in a few minutes.

Sky need to get with the times
I have 3 main complaints with my sky service and given the regilar price hikes I am seriously considering cqncelling my package.
1. The download limits on sky go are ridiculous. A program deletes 48 hours once watched. Why not let you have it on your mobile device until it is deleted from the sky go library?
2. All the money I pay to sky and I can't even watch through my apple tv (or other streaming device). Whats even more ridiculous is that I can stream it through my laptop to my tv.
3. All the channels I pay for through sky are available through Now TV but I have to pay an extra subscription to watch Now TV (so they want me to pay twice forbthe same content?)
I think Sky really need to re-consider their approach to content availability and streaming on mobile devices particularly as other TV mediums such as Netflix and Amazon TV are starting to produce a number pf quality TV shows. I for one am seriously reconsidering the benefit of my sky package.
I am sure the reply will be the usual nomsense about licensing etc but I don't believe that a company with Sky's assets cannpt work this out. Or is it as I think and we are all suffering because of the large investment sky makes every year in winning football television contracts. One more price hike and I am doneCm0125scuba wrote:

The Vision M is not available anywhere! You can't get it at Amazon, I've been waiting for my Crutchfield order for two weeks now, and if you make an order with Dell, you gotta wait 3-5 weeks.
Actually, it's been making it's way into stores lately, I've seen it at a couple Best Buys, it's available online at Circuit City, Staples, Wal-Mart, don't know how many of those stores it's made it into.

You need to transfer your domain.sites file from your MacBook to your iMac. This is the file where iWeb stores all info and can be found under User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/domain.sites.
Transfer this file from your MacBook to the same place on your iMac and double click the domain.sites file and iWeb will open it on your iMac and you can update your site from there too. -
I've been trying to get a book sample and a dialogue box comes up saying: To receive book samples, you need a device with the latest versions of iOS and ibooks installed and Automatic Download enabled. I have iBooks installed and automatic download enabled. I don't know if it's talking about a new version of iOS on my iphone or my laptop. You people sure like to make things difficult.

I had the same problem. It turned out the issue for me was that I had Automatic downloads turned off on my devices!
see below how to turn it on.
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores on your device.
Tap Sign In if you're not already signed in to the iTunes Store.
Enter your Apple ID and password.
Tap On/Off switch to enable or disable Automatic Downloads for each content type. -

For another program (WASY WGeo) after the working with PS CC I need a picture with the right colours in the end with 256 colours in 8 bit per picture - I still got it until yesterday. I don´t know what I´ve done wrong in PS CC but I´m still working in mode with 8 bit RYB. I controlled my result with Irfan View: it´s a picture with 16,7 million colours and 56 bit pp.

I need to un-install then re-install my Adobe Creative Suite 6. I am having troubles with the programs.

You can uninstall the software by going to Control Panel > Programs
You can also use the Creative Suite Cleaner tool ( Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 ) to remove the software completely.

Get with the times Adobe! We need Flash for 64 bit OS!
I HATE using 2 browsers. The 32 bit browser in Win 7 is horrible and crashes to much and leaves 48 instances of it open after its closed. The 64 bit version works GREAT. Get with the times and release a 64 bit version already.
+1 ... using Win7, I use 32-bit browser for Flash content and 64-bit browser for everything that matters.

My macbook pro is stuck on grey screen with apple symbol in center with the progress circle under it continusly spinning. After I had turned it on. Prior to turning it on I had to force close and shut down a few hours prior. Please Help I have tried everything I know to do
Unfortunately this means that there is a problem in the boot sector of your hard drive. It might be indicative of a fundamental corruption in the coding that allows your computer to boot your operating system from your hard drive. I had this problem twice and it resulted in me having to get a new hard drive and restore my data.
In other words, your computer can't talk to your operating system so you can't access your data.
Here is my advice: DON'T CALL APPLE TECH SUPPORT though they are kind and usually helpful it will take you an hour just to explain the situation and they will only tell you to do what I'm gonna say here.
First: Shut down your computer completely
Two: boot up while holding down the following keys: command, option, p, and r. The computer will reboot 3 times. This solution will likely fail so if you're frustrated skip to the next step.
Three: Boot up while holding down the option key. Select recovery drive. Select your default language. Select disk utility, click on Macintosh HD, and select "verify and repair volume." Likely the verification will produce some line like "unused node not erased." Or something like that. If anything using the words "node structure" comes up, you need a new hard drive.
If after verification and repairs you still can't boot I sincerely hope you have apple care because you will need a new hard drive. Set up an appointment to come in to the apple store, they will tell you to go and get data recovery, just ask them to give you the old hard drive. Unless you have an up to date backup in which case you can just restore from that. If you're lucky the only issue is with the boot sector which means that if you ask them to give you the old hard drive, you can buy an enclosure and you have effectively been given a free external hard drive. It still works to store data just not to load an operating system.
If you have a back up drive bring it to the apple store and they'll do the whole thing right there, it should take around an hour and a half but may take longer.
Hope this helps, it's annoying but it's your safest bet.

You don't. Since you have an Intel Mac, buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD from the online Apple Store.

Iphone 5 poor battery since iOS 8 updated Apple need to get this sorted as if ur on Internet on fone for 20 mins or so battery goes down very quickly and no it's not my battery I have 3 iphone 5 doing same Apple take note there's millions of people that need there done not to fully charge it then it goes flat within a hour and thats with a new battery fitted aswell

Do I need to get a separate program to burn multiples copies of a DVD on Mac?
Do I need to get a separate program to burn multiples copies of a DVD on Mac, and not have the copies separate into AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS? I made a series of lesson plans on iMovie. When it opens on the original disk, it goes right to my music and intro menu. When I try to burn it to a new DVD, it shows up as AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS. It does not open at all. Please advise.

If so you don't copy any part of it to a blank DVD. You open Disk Utility and select it like I do in this screenshot:
insert a blank DVD and click on the Burn button. -

Laptop hard drive broke so had to buy a new one and obviously now need to sort out my itunes.
Did try downloading all my purchased stuff onto itunes but it has missed some things off, and there are some files I did not purchase from itunes so need a way of getting them back on there.
Sure this question has been asked a million times but can't find anything to help me on here so thought I'd ask.
-Did have a look at going onto the start menu and opening the hidden items thing but couldn't see any reference to ipod or device on it so wasn't sure how to do it that way.
-On itunes under my device when its connected, the section about manually restoring and backing up, would that help me? Because that says it will manually back up my ipod to my computer then could restore that back up, obviously I don't want to accidnetally get rid of everything on my ipod so didn't want to try that just in case without checking.
(And yes I have disabled auto sync to device when conncected!)

ChrisBacking up an iOS device will copy some data to a backup file within iTunes, but this excludes all media. You can also transfer iTunes Store purchases from the iDevice to iTunes but, without using a third-party tool, nothing else. As long as you do not sync the iPod with your new library, the media that's on it will remain ... for as long as it keeps functioning, is not lost, stolen, eaten by the dog, ...
You may also have an option to recover your previous library from your old laptop; as long as its hard drive isn't fried, a computer repair store or technician may be able to extract the drive, mount it in an external enclosure, and copy your data to another PC. Whatever you choose, there is no real alternative to having all your media on your computer, managed by iTunes, and regularly backed up to another device/location.
