Apple Pay Setup with 2 Different iCloud Accounts?

Hello,
I have 2 different iCloud Accounts.
One (my main account) in Canada.
The other one in the United States.
I am with citi bank in the US.
Can I setup Apple Pay on my iPhone 6 with the US iCloud, but keep my main Canadian iCloud account as the main account to sync everything (contacts, bookmarks, calendars, etc) without the US account interfering.
i.e. I would only want to use my US account to setup Apple Pay.
Thanks,
Nicolas

Hi Nicolas ....
I understand what you are trying to do but only one iCloud account is allowed per device.
Apple Pay is only works in the United States.

  • How to backup multiple iphones with different iCloud accounts but same apple id?

I would like to back up 3 idevices each with different icloud accounts to itunes. But they use the same apple id so that itune purchases can be installed on each device (2 iphones and 1 ipad).
All I want to do is create a backup in case the phones need to be restored. I also want to back up before downloading iOS 8.
The Macbook Pro that I will back up to has one user and one itunes library.
Is this possible without mixing up address books and contacts etc? Appreciate if some one could direct me to detail step-by-step instructions if they exist or please tell me how I can do this.
    Thanks.

With Family Sharing they don't need to have the same Apple ID anymore.
But backups to iTunes are kept separate among multiple devices; Apple ID and iCloud isn't involved at all. Just make sure the devices do not have the same name.

Then you cannot locate it electronically.

    Hello pscorning1,
I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of your question. If you have already changed the information associated with your current Apple ID (*not* created an entirely new Apple ID), you may find the following article about updating the various Apple ID services helpful:

  • Can I setup 2 devices, with different iCloud accounts, on "Find My iPad" app?

    Hi all,
I am new to the iPad/iPhone world (bit of a late convert!!), and I have tried searching for the answer to this but I can't find the specific answer...but apologies if this has been covered before.
I have an iPad, and the wife has an iPhone.  We both have separate Apple IDs and iCloud accounts.  We both have just downloaded the "Find My iPhone" app. It looks great, but we would like to be able to view both devices from the same account.  Is it possible, where we both have separate iCloud accounts?  Or, are we both able to setup a third 'joint' iCloud account on our devices, that we only use for the "Find My iPhone" app?
Any help, for this 'newbie', would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers
    Glenn

You can only use the "find my phone" feature with one iCloud account. In order to be able to find your partner's phone using the app on yours, you would need to log into her account in the "find my phone".
If all you are merely interested in, is knowing the location of each other, there is another app called "find friends" that may be of interest to you.

  • How do I transfer a free music app with music on it to another iphone with different icloud accounts

My friend gave me his old iphone with a free music app on it and it had some music on that app well I just got a iphone and was wandering how to get that music and app transferred to my iphone with the icloud accounts being different

Stealing is NOT the only reason to want to transfer music and paid apps from one account to another.
The family has been using one itunes account to purchase music and apps.  This account was set up under my user name.  I gave my wife my old ipad and got the 3-kids new ipads.  I want to give all of the music and apps under my user name to my wife's new itunes account so the family can keep using them and I can have a separate account.  Even if I have to re-pay for the music and apps.
    Is it possible?

  • TS4020 If my husband and I both have iphone 5's with different icloud accounts can I find his phone using find my Iphone?

If my husband and I both have iphone 5's with seperate icloud accounts can we track each other using find my iphone?

Sure,  all you need is Find My iPhone app.  When using it, just sign in using your husband's ID, not yours.  You'll be able to track his device.   I do that with my wife when she's on a long trip.

  • Does Apple Pay setup with camera support portrait mode credit cards?

I have a credit card that the front face is in portrait mode instead of the traditional landscape view. I tried to used the camera to setup this card in Apple Pay but it would recognize it. I had to set it up manually so I could use that card. I was wandering if Apple Pay camera setup is compatible with those types of cards.

WiseJD, that's a good way to test the theory, I agree.  But I'm not really blocked on doing anything here, this is more about technical curiosity.  So I don't plan to try that test, since signing out of iCloud means iCloud photos and docs get deleted from the phone and I'd have to get them downloaded again later.  The hassle exceeds my level of curiosity.
However, a co-worker pointed me to the iOS Security Guide (Apple Pay starts on page 24).  The second paragraph on page 27 says, "This allows iOS to instruct the Secure Enclave to render cards unusable by marking its copy of the AR as invalid under the following scenarios:
    When the passcode is disabled
The user logs out of iCloud
So there is some connection to one's iCloud Apple ID.  The connection appears to be quite minimal, but I accept this as sufficient circumstantial evidence that for users with two Apple IDs, one iCloud and one iTunes, the iCloud Apple ID is the one Apple Pay looks at when deciding whether to offer to include your existing credit cards.
I'll stick with that as my theory unless someone presents a counterexample.  That is, if someone says they use separate Apple IDs on their phone for iCloud and iTunes, they have no credit card in the iCloud account, and Apple Pay *does* offer them the chance to, "Use Card on File with iTunes," (from their iTunes Apple ID).
    Thanks.

  • How too add another iPhone to Maps with DIFFERENT iCloud accounts

I went to this support article:  http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5293
I want to send directions to my wife's iPhone BUT we have different iCloud IDs.
According to suppport article, both of us must have SAME iCloud ID.
IS THERE A WAY AROUND THIS?
I see my iPhone but not hers.  Both running latest iOs 7 software.
    Thank you

  • HT204053 can computer with different iCloud account show up on my find my iPhone

I recently purchased a macbook pro for my daughter. I would like her new computer to show up on my "find my iphone" account. She has a seperate icloud account for her computer. I was able to do it with her iphone, but not her macbook.

It's tied to the iCloud ID.  You would need to go to icloud.com and sign into her iCloud account in order to track it.  If you are using the Find My iPhone app, you would need to sign out, then sign into her iCloud account to track it.

  • TS5293 How to Have Multiple Devices on Maps osX with different iCloud accounts?

I would like to be able to send my girlfriend directions thru the osX Maps app.  I know and always will know all her icloud info and password but i would wanna keep our icloud accounts seperate.
Any suggestions on how to do this?

I haven't tried this but im sure it will work.
It just seems like there must be an easier way.  Instead of me having to log out of my account, log in to another account to be able to send her directions from the MAP app.
If I tried to just log out of my icloud account on my profile it prompts me that everything will be deleted so i am not able to go that rout.
Anyway's I will do it as you suggested unless something else comes up.
    Thanks

If your computers are going to say behind the router all the time, then you do not need a firewall, as the router is your firewall.

  • HT204486 Sharing Photo library with family members with different iCloud accounts?

How might one share Photos library with family members with their own Apple IDs?

    I would try the following:
    1. Create a smart album. Match condition as "Album" is "Any". That should capture all your photos and videos as of now.
    2. Share that Album via iCloud photo sharing, sending invitations to the family members.
