Apple please develop an app that will play the iTunes Extras.

I have accumulated several movies from iTunes that have 'iTune Extras' which can only be accessed on my computer. I only use my iPad and Apple TV to watch my digital media because my computer is desk top. I am surprised that there is not a way to access these extra on my iPad. Any ideas?

Currently iTunes Extras and iTunes LPs can only be played on a computer's iTunes, they can't be played on an iOS device - until if/when Apple develop a way of allowing you to play them on an iPad then you will need to use your computer (or first gen Apple TV).

Sorry, i did not say that i need to go out further than 1 week. This is for a church Bell Tower Music System. So we don't want to have to re program the music every week. I need an app that will play one song from a list then pause

I currently use a DJ style CD player to play backing tracks for the trio that I play with. The CD player has a "single" button that when you engage it will only play one song from the CD and then stop/pause. I need an app that will do the same thing as it relates to a playlist. Any ideas?

It isn't an answer to your actual question but it might help:
Try creating a playlist in iTunes with that one song you need to be played. Start that playlist (ipod app) and you'll see that your ipad will only play that song.

The start chapter button is a play the whole movie button regardless of how many other markers you have.
Once a DVD starts playing it continues to the end.
Chapters marker simply gives the viewer a place to start playback whether it be the start, middle or near the end.

It sure is. It also plays on my PC using VLC Player. So, I know that it was burned onto the DVD.

App that will play slideshow from computer continuously on smart TV?

I have a slideshow that I would like to play on the TV in the lobby of my store. Is there an app that I can run from the back of house PC over wifi that will allow for a continuous loop of my slideshow? Initially, I made the slideshow on Keynote and exported it as a movie which the TV played off of a USB flash drive. However, the TV only allows FAT32 fornatted USBs, so the movie was limited to 4GB. I would like a movie or slideshow that will play continuously throughout the day without stopping. Is there any PC app that can accomplish this (and still allow the user to do business-as-usual on the computer while the app runs?)

What governs the apps that appear in the iTunes More by this developer box

I have 3 apps in the app store.
On the iTunes page for one of the apps it references the other two apps in the "More apps by this developer" box, but the other two apps only reference each other.
Is this due to the Primary/Secondary category combination?
App1 = Finance, News
App2 = Business, Finance
App3 = Business, Finance

I'm going to assume that you use only one Apple ID so the two things that I can think of are to quite all processes and restart all devices and then try to sync those apps again. Quit iTunes, restart your computer and the iPad and then try to sync the apps again.
The other thing would be to try to reset your iTunes account by signing in and out of the account on the iPad. Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap the ID and sign out. Restart the iPad and then sign in to your account and try again.

Looking for app that will play music entered on a staff

My wife wants to use her iPad2 to help her with learning new choir songs for church... and I haven't stumbled upon the right search terms to locate what we're looking for.
Specifically, we'd like a program that provides us with a staff (preferably treble and bass, preferably with a function to easily change keys) on which we can click the notes and indicate duration, then have the program play back that input melody for us.
If it helps, Aria Maestosa for OS X does what we want... we're just looking for that functionality on the iPad.

Mail application (besides Mail.app) that will sync with iTunes?

HEre's the deal:
I run a lot of websites. 50 or so are hosted per dedicated server. Lots of websites means... lots of email addresses. Mail.app in it's infinite wisdon of creating somehting like 4 IMAP connections per email address often crashed the IMAP service on the otherwise exteremely relaiabl;e and well-appointed servers. The ONLY reason I'm still using it at this point is because in addition to running 3 Mac's, I also have the bevvy of iPods, iPhones and iPads. The fact that I can sync my mail withe them is a huge deal and a timesaver to me. Take for instance today. I am launching 2 new sites. I just created the standard 5 email addresses for each sites. That's 10 new email addresses and settings I'd have to put into 3 iOS devices.
So, is there any commercially available Mail application nthat can sync with iTunes? I HAVE to ditch Apple Mail, there's no way aroud that unless they fix the IMAP issue that I've read countless threads of people complaining to Apple about.
I'd like to just do this once... it's going to be a huge pain in my a$$ so any help minimizing that aspect of the move would be greatly appreciated.

No way to do that on a non-jailbroken iPhone. Why don't you just passcode protect your phone? That way no one but you can use it...unless they know your passcode.

Can we please work on developing a tool to purge the "other" memory taking up 8 gigs on my 13.4 gig iphone. I am passed tired of restoring and redoing my iphone. Isn't there any interest? From support forums, I see a need. Seriously, I'd pay $50 for an app. I love this phone, and wouldn't think of switching, but this makes me weary.
Any other ideas out there besides restoring my phone (again)?

I'm trying to get Temple Run for my 9 year old son, but all the versions on i-Store seem to require ios 4.3 or later. Is there any way to buy an earlier version compatible with ios 4.2.1?

You are going to have to discuss this with the developer of Temple Run. He is the only one who can help you.
Having said that the chances are slim of it being downgraded to such an old version on iOS.

AppleTV Not playing .Mov files that will play in iTunes

After Major Hard Disc issues I had to use a Data Rescue II to retrieve the files.
All seems fine now except Data Recover II converted all of the m4v to mov files?
They play fine from iTunes, but apple tv does is giving me an error that file format is not recognized or it just does not load...
File Details are as follows:
Kind: QuickTime Movie File
Profile: Low Complexity
Bit Rate: 158 kbps
Video Dimesions:1280x720
Video Codec: h.264

what's the framrate?
bear in mind that just because something is in itunes, does not mean it is appletv compatible.
also, have you tried simply changing the extension back to .m4v ?

Is there a DJ app for the Ipad that will read the "start" and "stop time" setting for each individual song, as they are set in the song Options screen in Itunes? The Ipod Touch, by itself does not allow cross-fading, therefore when the stop time is edited short, the song jusst truncates then goes to the next song. I tried the DJay ap and while it would crossfade, it would NOT read the song settings for the stop marker. So now I want to try and Ipad and see if there is an app that will READ the Itune stop settings within the song. I do NOT want an app that will allow me to DO the stop marker. I want an app that will READ the stop marker from the song as it is set in Itunes.

Itunes provides the option for setting the Start and Stop times of each music track. However, the start and stop times do not synchronize to the iPhone. I don't understand why this option is even available as it doesn't work when listening to music on the phone. I have not found another application that will support the start and stop time markets. I have searched quite a bit for this but can't find anything. I hope we can find something.
