Apple reps having a hard time deploying mac notebooks on windows 2003 netwo

Here are the issues we are having any help would be appreciated, we had a few laptops imaged, but we came to find out that the Macbooks were not able to print to any of the printers in the school.
We then moved onto testing the internet and networking on the Macbooks. This is where we ran into another problem, the Macbooks were not setup by the Apple reps to use the proxy settings for the wired connection, only the wireless. Even manually adding the settings, the machines were constantly asking for username and passwords in order to get to the internet or network places. When we questioned why this was happening and why the machines were not authenticating through Active Directory the reps told us to get rid of the proxy to make the their machines work. We also inquired why the drive mappings had not been setup like the Windows users had. Like the other issues, the Apple reps had no answers as to why it wasn’t working and didn’t have a plan of action to fix them.

I'm not sure how you would like Windows server volumes be mounted on the mac as you usually see the share name on the mac desktop when mounted (no local mapping like \\servername\share name mapped to X: ).
Are the machines bound to AD or not?
No problems with signed SMB?

You cannot see it because it is hidden.. one of those great things apple does.. if it is hidden in your Mac then it will be hidden in the Time Machine Backup.
You will need to restore the entire folder to a different location.. and unhide it.

Having a hard time signing into websites with Safari

Hi, I'm having a hard time signing in my username and password for e-mail addresses I use and for message boards as well. I use Safari all the time accept for my school website that requires IE. Anyways, I use Comcast and I have been trying to sign into my e-mail address name and everyime I click "sign in mail" Safari says "Safari Can't Open Page". So then, I went to my AIM mail to sign in there and then it said the same thing. Then I went to this Apple Forum to ask if anyone knows what the problem is, and then when I went to sign into here, the same thing. So right now I am using Camino, but can anyone help me with this problem or is anyone having the same problem as me? Thanks.

I too have been having a problem of logging into certain websites with a username and password. Instead of logging in successfully with Safari, a blank page or an error would occur.
This happened for: citibank, comcast, sprint, and miscellaneous other sites.
This problem apparently had something to do with my cookies since erasing my cookies seemed to solve the problem. Here's how to do it:
Safari -> Preferences...-> Security -> Show Cookies -> Remove All.

Having a hard time with burning photos onto a CD...

Whew! I just found the photos I thought I had deleted this morning, they're in my Finder, inside the iPhoto Library. Now I'm having a hard time trying to burn them onto a CD. Did you try swiping across the message in the preview window rather than use the Edit button? If you still can't delete the messages, quite mail and reboot the iPad and try again.

There are no BIOS settings, because Macs don't have a BIOS. I don't use Parallels, but I assume it has simulated BIOS settings. You'd have to consult its documentation to find out how to change them.

I am having a hard time downloading Youtube, I deleted and then I tapped on the cloud button to download again, and I am connected to wifi. How do I know it isn't downloading the pop up where it shows your email/iCloud account and asks for your password doesn't show up, which then shows downloaded not completed

Reset the device then try again.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You will have to re enter your Wi-Fi password.
No data is lost due to a reset.
