Apple Response to Problems

Hi All, I along with so many of you are having the same problems with streaming since the update, when everything was working fine before the update. For many this is not a internet speed problem, it is a bug in the new update that has affected the buffering of HD content and Dolby Digital sound. There are so many posts now, it's difficult to find any real resolutions. Has anyone actually heard any official word from Apple on whether they have even acknowledged there are problems with the new update and if they are doing anything about them?

Thanks I'm aware of that. I was just asking if anyone had heard any word from Apple, Applecare or tech support that acknowledged the problems most people are having and if anyone has heard of an impending fix.

    Note on point 1:
    This is the issue with contact numbers as I further found out:
    The problem basically with messages and calls.
    Adding a country code to a contact number will show contact name in messages but not in calls coming therefrom.
    Removing the country code from the contact number, will show only phone number in calls but not in messages where I only get the number without the name!
    To overcome this problem, I have to register the same number for each contact twice, one with a country code and the other without! Duplicating numbers for each contact obviously is not the right solution.

    Doublechecking ... do you still get that if you update to iTunes 10.6.3.25 (just released today)?

  • I forgot my apple id password so i create a new one. the problem is i cant remove my first apple id because any time i tried to reset my password i never received any email from Apple.now the problem is my iCloud and ... have problem on my iPhone????

    I have a problem with my I phone5 . after i bought an iPhone6 and i joined it to my iTunes , the same problem happens to my new Iphone.
    i thought with the new Apple ID the problem could be solved. so i create a new Apple ID. now i have 2 I Phones  with the same problem means i can't remove my first Apple ID because any time i try to reset my password and delete the Apple ID i don't receive any Email from APPLE .
    Please HELP me. i would be very appreciated .

    After reviewing your post, it sounds like you tried to reset the Apple ID password but did not receive the email. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

    Has Apple fixed the problem with 4G cellular connection on the iPad 3?

    Cellular connection problem was for US connection in Houston, Texas.  Have an iPad 2 which functions perfectely on Wi-Fi or 3G.  Bought an iPad 3 strictly to get the increased speed from the 4G LTE connection.  Purchased on with the AT &T cellular.  Wi-Fi functions fine, but 4G LTE connection is terrible when it connects at all.  Went to AT&T and they said no problems with service in my area, but never get over 2 bars and most times, Web pages load very slow or will hang and not load at all.  Went to the Apple store and they said it was AT&T network problem and went to AT&T and they said no problems with their service.  Went to the Apple communities forum here and discovered that many people were having the same problems with the 4G LTE cellular connection on their iPad 3's.  Didn't seem to matter if it was AT&T or Verizon.  So I decided that I would just return the unit and wait for Apple to fix the problem.  Hence my question.

    I would instead say you have a problem since nearly all IPs work as advertised.  IF you do have a bad phone, take it into an Apple store and get a replacement.  Hope you didn't jailbreak your phone though as Apple probably will tell you, you broke it, you fix it.

    Each new generation of Time Capsules has run cooler than the last. Solved? Hard to know in advance. Plan to give the Time  Capsule plenty of free airspace on all sides.

    No, but the Time Capsule's light will blink amber to signal that temperatures may be too high.

    Feedback to Apple can be made via the Safari Menu>Report Bugs to Apple selection, or here. Apple doesn't respond to either; rather, uses the information for internal purposes.
    Your alternative, if in the US and machine is under warranty including telephone support, would be to call Apple Care. 800-275-2273

    I hope you have upgraded to the latest captivate version 8.0.1.242. If not please follow the steps mentioned on this post Adobe Captivate Help | Adobe Captivate 8 patch. Make sure to remove layouts and preferences as mentioned in the link.
    There is an issue with text in case of multi-hierarchal bullets but apart from that other things should work fine. You might just have to change some position parameters to fix the results.   • Apple TV streaming problems with itunes

    Apple TV streaming problems. Since recent last update to AppleTV when I try to streams movie or tv show from iTunes sometimes it is fine sometimes it takes hours (Hd or Sd). No problem with netflix. Wifi is not super strong in location but this was not a problem at all before update. Any suggestions?

    ok.
    this is not a solution to your problem, but you didn't need to do that just to remove it from appletv. you could have simply unticked the item in your library and that would have made it not available to appletv. you could also have amended your sync options. you don't need to delete something from your library just to remove it from appletv.
    however back to your problem. it sounds like the appletv is not syncing the changes to your library. you should restart your appletv and see if that forces the change.

  • Do i need a new drive or should apple fix the problem!

    since i upgraded to osx lion i keep getting an error code 0x80020022 every time i try and burn a dvd doesn't matter what type of program i use the some results error code.. 0x80020022 . does this mean a new drive is needed ?.. or bearing in mine it worked perfectly before lion was in stalled should apple fix the problem?
    i wish i hadn't bothered with lion..
    reading though this discussion forum this problem seems to be happening to others... so why it seems is apple ignoring it ?....
    now if i need a new drive because of this upgrade why didn't apple say your optical drive may need to be upgraded to work with lion before i started ...
    i was quite happy with snow leopard...

    Restore your bootable backup/clone or Time Machine of your previous Snow Leopard installation and see if the problem persists.

    Ho comprato il 20 dicembre l'iPhone 5 in offerta dalla TIM. Da allora sono alle prese con il continuo passaggio dal 3G ad Edge. Per ritornare al 3G devo attivare e disattivare l'opzione "aereo" o "3G". Ho fatto il ripristino dell'iphone e il reset di rete della nano sim più volte senza concludere nulla, ma né la TIM né Apple riconoscono il problema, anzi si rimpallano la responsabilità. Che fare?

    Facendo varie prove (come l'inserimento della nano sim in un cellulare Nokia) e confrontando il comportamento dell'iPhone 5 con un altro iPhone 5  - sempre con nano sim TIM - in zone diverse della città in cui abito (Palermo), sono pervenuto alla seguente conclusione: c'è un problema del dispositivo, ma c'è anche un problema di regolazione del segnale dal parte del gestore TIM.
    Non sono un tecnico e non so spiegare perchè ciò avvenga, anzi mi piacerebbe saperlo sia dalla Apple che da TIM, ma dubito che dichiarino apertamente il problema. Se non si capisce perchè ciò avvenga, è inutile sostituire telefono e nano sim.
    Io ho cambiato nano sim e il problema è rimasto. Ho avviato on line con un operatore Apple la pratica di sotituzione dell'iPhone: mi mandano un corriere a ritirarlo e me lo riportano in una settimana. Ma qui mi sono fermato e non ho proceduto ancora alla sostituzione, perchè mi è stato detto che mi sarebbe stato sostituito con un "rigenerato".
    Come nuovo non è la stessa cosa di nuovo e in rete leggo di clienti che dopo la sostituzione continuano ad avere lo stesso problema.
    Chiediamo a Apple di dirci con chiarezza se c'è una partita di iPhone 5 con qualche elemento difettoso o non adatto al mercato italiano o se è un problema di software (e in quel caso aspetteremo pazientemente un aggiornamento) e a TIM chiediamo di non blindare il 119. Infatti da alcuni giorni è impossibile contattare un operatore. Come mai? Subissata dalle lamentele dei clienti?
    Ho molta voglia di rescindere il contratto di trenta mesi...

    "&" is not the obvious bug/answer. Not sure what went wrong as I cannot select albums and events for sync. Situation is worse for iPad and Apple TV when error 1140 message popped up even before backup get completed.

    Download and install the iPhoto 9.4.1 update, which was just released today. It may be the answer to your problems:

    Be sure that neither iTunes nor iPhoto is running when you install the iPhoto 9.4.1 update. After installing the update, then restart iTunes and iPhoto. By default, "All photos" is selected. Change this (it's no longer grayed out) to "Selected albums..." and you should be OK.
