Apple's user forum jumps cursor

As I type in these message fields on Apple's own forum, Safari will arbitrarily make my cursor jump up a few lines as I'm typing. I don't know what's causing it. I'm typing along and then BAM the cursor jumps to the end of a line above and I am typing up there instead of where I was.

Go step by step and test.
1. Restart
2. Shut down the computer.
    Clean the trackpad with moist not wet microfiber cloth.
    System Preferences > Point & Click
    Try turning off three finger dragging and then turning it on after testing.
3. Is there any Bluetooth device nearby with failing batteries? If so, replace the batteries.
   4. Reset PRAM:   http://support.apple.com/kb/PH14222
5. Reset SMC.     http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964
    Choose the method for:
    "Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".
6. Close all windows and quit all applications.
    Click the spotlight -the magnifying glass icon- in the menu bar. Enter Disk utility in the box.
     Select Disk Utility from the drop down. When the Disk utility window opens up,
     select Macintosh HD, then First Aid.
     Click Repair Disk Permissions button.
     Ignore the time remaining estimate.
     Last 1 minute may take longer.

Someone please help. I loved my iphone 3G, but the iphone 4 has caused me to become so disappointed with Apple. I'm even thinking of moving to the Samsung Galaxy, which has Google Android capability, moving background wallpapers, bluetooth capability, video capability that is compatible the a variety of media players (not just Quicktime), the ability to send business cards to non-apple phones and the ability to be used as a USB drive without needing wifi or itunes.

These Forums are mostly users talking with users, now and then you may see the grey Apple icon of an employee/genius posting and the purple Apple of a Forum host but they aren't here to pass on feedback.

Many apple phone users are especially fed up with RSGI Communication , Erandwana, Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Their service report No. 36679.
Allthough Mr Punit ( Technical Dept. Apple.) had requested RSGI to chance the device, still RSGI said they do not have the device ( I phone 5, white ,16GB) in stock.
Today when we contacted them they said they won't be able to replace OR order to Apple unless and until we do not keep the device with them for 3 days.
Mr Deepak of Technical Dept Apple was contacted who's telephonic Transript as proof is available with us.

Non Apple mouse pointer randomly jumps all over the screen

Microsoft mouse is randomly moving on screen. Is this a issue because its microsoft or is there a issue with the Mac?

Does Apple Monitor These Forums?

Does Apple have any of their employees monitoring this forum to determine what questions are being answered or are there a large group of questions focused on the same issue without resolution? I ask because I can't seem to find a resolution to how does one go about setting up S/MIME using the Mail application on the Ipad 2. I have a Verisign certificate that works on several other computers that I own, but I can't find any directions on how to get the Mail application to import my certificate so I can then start to use S/MIME. I have purchased the OPENPGP application from the store, but I have many people who don't use OpenPGP. Any help would be appreciated.

No, these are user-to-user forums, they are not monitored by Apple - there are too many forums/threads/messages for that to happen.
In terms of your previous post/question it maybe that nobody who has read it knows the answer - I don't the answer, or even if there is one.

Jumping cursor as I type

I just recieved my new PB today and havne't been able to use it because of the jumping cursor problem when I am trying to type. When I type my hands are elevated at about 1/2 an inch over the track pad. As I type in both Entourage and Word, my mouse will suddenly register a click and move my cursor to where ever my mouse is sitting, usually a few lines above. sometimes it will select the text to above the line and as I continue to type it will over write the content.
I have seen another posting about a similar problem with people clicking the trackpad. I'm not doing that, my hands are no where near the trackpad.
Anyone seen this behavior? Or more importantly, a solution?

This preference has been around for quite a while although the problem you are experiencing surfaced when Apple started making their own trackpad as opposed to buying Synaptics (I that's who they were from).
One option you have which will fix the problem is to attach a mouse. That way you can turn the trackpad off when you have the mouse attached. Otherwise, what you can also do is turn off trackpad clicking. Yes this does force you to use the clicker but will mean that the trackpad alone can't move your cursor.

Why is HD only for Apple TV users?

As a users of iTunes I can rent normal quality movies. Why can't we rent HD movies? Many of us have MAC's or PC's connected to our TV's that are fully HDPC and could play the movies in full 5.1.

With in house iPad, iTunes in Mac Pro Mt. Lion and in Windows 8 Bootcamped, I have started getting email notifications for my questions in Bootcamp, iPad etc. forums and also for any answers I have contributed to.
While I think this would be useful for a user's question, to cut back on forum access to check for answers, I do not want email for answers, suggestions I have provided.

Presuming that the message is real, I tried to make changes detailed at  http://verizon.com/emailsettings to the configuration window of my Apple Mail account. . Apple Mail allows setting only one port (I presume for incoming mail) and allows setting SSL and authentication method for that port.
So there is no way to follow these instructions

I've set my outgoing server to outgoing.verizon.net as directed. Need I do more? If so, where?

To get it to your new Apple ID, you would need to change it back to your old on so you can turn off Find My Device and turn it off. Once that is done, change it back to what you are currently using now. Take a look at the article below for more information.

I have no idea where this user came from, but I need to update my apps and get this user off my computer. The users email is locked, it is grey in colour and I can not get it off. You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store alert. For example, the App Store may prompt you to update "Angry Birds" or "Twitter," but the hacked app may be something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for.
