Apple saying wrong security code, but whenever I type it it charges my card
Help please.. I want a refund for the charges..
Each time that you add or change the card details on your account a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - they should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

In terms of the code not being accepted, is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646) ? If it is then you could try contacting the card issuer and check that they, and any company that they use to process card authorisations, have the correct information on their files. And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

Why is Apple saying my security code is invalid?
I would like to buy the OS Lion software through the App store but when I sign in using my Apple ID and password, I get a message telling me that this Apple ID has not been used with the I-Tunes Store. Please review your account information.
So I go to review account information and fill it out completely.
When I submit it, I get a message back saying my security code is invalid.
I know that the code is right and have been using this card and code with other companies with no problem. But for some reason I am having trouble with Apple.
What gives?
What can I do?Try this...
Quit the Mac App Store.
Launch iTunes. From the menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Click: Reset warnings and Reset cache
Click OK.
Go to the menu bar again click Store / Sign Out.
Relaunch the App Store. Try again.

Why does my phone say that I have entered the wrong security code off of my debt card when i'm trying to download any app free or otherwise? I know all my info is correct and my debt card is good.
Mine is doing the same. I've tried several different cards all with the same response.

Try 2 download free game from app store says verify account n when i do it says invalid securoty code n it is not wrong code. Besides it free y it asking that
means three thing

-zip code doesnt match what the bank has

I recently had to cancel my debit card because of unauthorized purchases on Facebook. I have tried to update with 4 different credit cards and every time I get a message saying invalid security code. How do I fix this?

If the security code or anything else is rejected the rejection comes from your card issuer. Apple is just passing the message along. So you need to contact the issuer.

Hello. I created my apple id on a computer but whenever i try to use it on my (new) iphone, it says "review" after which nothing happens. I have not been able to purchase anything from the App store. Is there something i'm doing wrongly?

Anyway, as regards the security code issue, this may help:

and as regards the balance, first make sure you didn't make any in-app purchases. Many "free" apps, particularly games, have additional levels or features that cost money. Check your purchase history in your iTunes Store account and see what you're being charged for.

MY iPhone won't let me download apps, it says I need to sign in and verify account payment options. Even for a free app and then it says my security code is wrong on my credit card! Ugh!! Help please!
Did you ever get this fixed? I started getting this same message yesterday when changing my card to a debit card that I had used previosuly for years. My last purchase was Saturday morning. Creating a new account results in the same message no matter whar card I try. They must flag accounts by computer ID for this to be happening.
I got a message stating that my problem has been handed to a senior advisor. I hate this wait especialy since I have had my account since 2003. -

Change how it syncs by enabling Manually manage music and videos, then you can drag and drop the music that you want on your iPhone. Revert it back to test to see if that resolves the issue.

Yes, it happens to me all the time. I deleted an app because it froze the. Tried to redownloading it but it wouldn't let me ivd tried all of my cards and nothing works. I thought it was because I had a negative balance but I have a to of money all accounts. It'd be very helpful if someone could help us out.
