    Are you looking for iPodService.exe?
Might be better to run services.msc from the run dialog and shut down the service polietly.

    Hi,
got it fixed! My Son had both files on his Win7 iTunes installation. Never mind he had no issues whith ths iTunes and iPhone Sync. So I checked my other Win XP PC, where I don't have this problem syncing my ipad, and surprise. Both files do NOT show up on this PC. So I renamed the iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe I found under c:\program file\iTunes and synced again my iPhone and it went through without any error. So the problem might be and unremoved iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe or the missing iTunesPhotoProcessor.dll under the iTunes install root folder and this even if I had checked that the folder was completely removed during iTunes unistall.
Please try yourselve and just rename the iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe to iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe_ under c:\program file\iTunes or get a copy of the missing iTunesPhotoProcessor.dll and cp to c:\program file\iTunes.

  • OS/DB Migration - Course and certification for SAP Netweaver 7.00

    Hello everybody,
The OS/DB migration course and certification is still based on SAP Web Application Server 6.40, which is a rather old platform, since SAP Netweaver 7.00 is available since 06.2006 as far as I know
There is a particular reason for this delay? Can anyone know when the education offering from SAP will cover the new Basis release?
I'm interested in this field of technology, but if I know that the new course will be available too far in the future, I will focus on other certifications for now
    Regards,
    Valerio

I am sorry for getting into someone's topic but I would like to clarify few things.
As I understand the information related to the course description is outdated. Although the course currently provided by sap consists of the actual info. And whether that information is reflected in a course book?
    What about the examination?
Does it still consists of old questions and corresponds to description at training.sap.com(<AS 6.40) or it does include updated questions related to the latest SAP versions.
And what about the training materials issued by sap for that course?
Same question here. Whether it holds the actual information and consists of latest techniques and descriptions.
I am planning to take the certification w/o taking a course. I have a training material from one of my colleagues who has kindly shared a book with me. He has taken the course some time ago and his book states:
    SAP Web AS 6.40
    2005/Q3
so I am worried about the consistency of that book. And I would like to be sure before going to exam that there will be no surprise for me by having non-expected questions.
If someone can comment this that would me much appreciated.
    Thanks.

  • ABAP courses and certifications

I have more than 5 years of exp. in ABAP and no certifications as yet. Currently the following three are provided by SAP Education.
SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.0
SAP Certified Development Professional - ABAP User Interfaces with SAP NetWeaver 7.0
SAP Certified Development Professional - ABAP System Interfaces with SAP NetWeaver 7.0
What should the best course of action be for me. Do all 3? Just the professional ones? Any input is greatly appreciated.

  • I,m going to do some traveling in the USA and I was wondering if I need any extra protection like Norton or some Apple software

GOing to the USA do I need extra protection I.e. Norton or some extra Apple software for Viruses and such

On an iOS device, as long as it has not been hacked/jailbroken, you do not need such software, ever (has nothing to do with traveling somewhere versus using it at home - it is just not necessary anywhere, anytime).

I am endeavouring to upgrade iTunes. The upgrade always stalls at a point where there is a need to access Apple Software Updater, which is reported as no longer being available on my network. In My Programs, I have a folder called Apple Software Updater, to which I can browse, but within which I cannot trigger any action. I am trying to update to iTunes 10 to us my new iPad, but I can not remove a corrupted? "apple software update" program... I can get everything else off, but due to "previous version" of software update it will not continue.
I stopped in to see one of the genius at the local store who referred me to "Windows Installer 4.5 Redistributable" (I am trying to install it on a Windows XP System)
The last version on iTunes on my PC was iTunes 7.
    Thanks for your help,

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)

  • Unable to install iTunes 5.0, cannot uninstall apple software updater

I am trying to update iTunes from ver 10.3.3 to 15.5.1.4 with no luck!! I can d/l the file, wneh it goes to install it through the update tool, I get an error saying the resource is unavailable, i have searched my entire hard drive for the file "applesoftwareupdate.msi" and its not here. Trying to remove it will not work either due to missing file. I have tried to manually remove the software tool with no luck. I am using windows xp. Is there anything i can do before i go through the grueling task of doing a full windows recovery?? Thanks for your time.

  • Unable to install itunes 64it, on windows 7, stops at "unscheduling apple software update"

The installation goes on fine, until it begins the "unscheduling apple software update" proccess,  at which point I get a message saying; "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run.
    Any ideas anyone?

When I hit repair for it I get a message saying "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable",
And when I tried uninstall, it occurs exactly as the original error.
So this is probably damage to the AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi (or associated gubbins in the Windows Installer Service installation database for ASU).
Let's try clearing away the existing broken ASU, and seeing if that lets us get iTunes in.
Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up").
In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp and restart the PC. Download a fresh iTunes installer from the Apple Website:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Does that install go through any better?
