Apple Stole my money when I went to Quciktime Pro
HELP!! I upgraded to pro last night. I did what apple told me to do. Had the quciktime player only, Spent the $29.99 plus tax, followed the instructions to turn on the pro features, AND NOTHING. I even restarted 3 times, re-downloaded Quicktime. And Nothing.
Can Anybody help me.
Come to find out that If I take out my name and Keycode in the Registration field, It comes up as "APPLE PRO APPS USER" Cause I have Final Cut Pro of course, But it still says Quicktime pro... but none of the PRO FUNCTIONS work!
Are you saying you have no export capabilities at all now? Or do you mean the FCP exports still work but all Pro functions in the QT Player are "Pro grayed out?" If the former, have you tried reinstalling FCP to see if this re-connects your Pro apps registration? If the latter, when did you lose QT export cababilities? If you never had QT Pro capabilities following installation of of FCP, did you ever mention this matter to Apple?

I recently put in an order for a 15" MBP on the australian store. I didn't hear anything from apple for days after my confirmation email until yesterday, my expected delivery day. I was told I needed to contact my creditcard company because apple kept getting denied.
When I called my cc company they told me that they already authorised a $3000 transaction from apple and denied a $782 because there wasn't enough money on the account(it's a prepaid visa). The total cost of my order was $3081 which they already took. Why try and take an extra $800? I called apple to see what was going on at their end and the person from apple that I spoke to didn't know why they did this, but it doesn't appear like they have my money. I was told he would contact the billing department and get back to me, but that was hours ago.
What is apple doing with my money? Has anyone had any troubles with them like this? And how long did it take for it to be resolved? It is very frustrating as I am without a computer at the moment and was expected to have it delievered by now.Multiple "authorizations" are quite common. I've had this happen many times... from Apple... PCMall... and even recently with Beerofthemonthclub.com. It's not always clear why it happens. I know with the last one... I had placed an order for something that was about $300 but the shipping was going to be another $120. They authorized the $300 and a separate authorization for the full price of $420. I have yet to encounter a situation where both charges actually post. I believe a retailer has something like 3 (although it may be 5) days to actually post a charge after they authorize it. The authorization just "reserves" the funds... they haven't actually taken it at that point. It can be a real pain sometimes... especially if you're using a debit or pre-paid card... as you're basically out of that cash until the charge posts. You can sometimes work it out between the retailer and your bank... but the retailer needs to actually contact your bank in order to clear the extra authorization... otherwise, you just need to wait those few days for it to automatically be corrected.

No I did not change the email that I used to create the account.... Someone made new security questions and when I went to change them I had to verify and it sent the answers to an email address... Get this though... The email address that it sent the answers too waste letters in the middle were starred out like this t*****@aol.com. That's not my email. Why did it not send the questions to my apple ID email account right? if you know how to change the email to a new one that would be awesome if you could share that info with me.

I recently put money on my itunes account but the problem is when i went to purchase music the credit card information needed to be deleted and i forgot the answers to my security questions what do i do? I was told by a friend of mine that all i had to do was call apple support and i would be able to re start the secruity answers.
You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.

So, basically... I had to owe Apple money when I had no money on my card but now I've got money on my card and it won't allow me to pay off what I need to and I'm still unable to even download apps, songs or anything and it's worrying me.
Can someone help please?If you can't get the password correct, you CANNOT restore from that backup.
However, if you've been using your phone as recommended by Apple, there should be minimal data loss.
Your iTunes library is on your computer, so you can synch all your apps, music, movies, ringtones, etc, on to your new phone.
Similarly, contacts should be synched to Address Book, Outlook, or a cloud service for you to easily synch back to your new phone.
Pictures taken from your old phone and not synched to your computer are lost, but you would have been synching those photos to your computer frequently as recommended. Other photos that you synch TO your iPhone are still on your computer.
You won't be able to get text messages back. -
I purchased a tv series and downloaded the first episode, when I went to download the next episode a message popped up saying "this computer is already associated with an apple id.....You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. You cannot associate this computer with a different Apple ID for 41 days" and won't let me download the rest of the shows even though I haven't changed accounts and I'm using the same account I purchased the shows with.
It's been months, so you may not care anymore, but you can't download songs from multiple Apple IDs over a 90 days period. Sorry, it's not allowed for legal reasons.

I have to reset factory settings but Apple ID is old email no longer used. I can't recall the password and when I went to answer security questions it told me my date of birth was wrong. How do i rest password but get it sent to my current email address

Hello. I'm having a problem signing onto my iPad mini. When I went to sign on yesterday the number pad to sign on moved upward and now it is out of site. Now I can't sign on the only thing that shows is the Apple logo.
Have you tried to give your iPad a reset? Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if it helps.

My phone started acting up and I noticed my text messages were not being sent. So I turned my iphone off. My iphone 4s turned off properly but when I went to put it back the apple icon came on and then an image I have never seen before of a UBS pointiing towards the word itunes in a circle. And the phone no longer goes beyond this message. I try to turn it off and on again and same message over and over. If I hit the any button on the phone nothing happens. Does anyone know what this means or seen this itunes messaging ? meltdown? Please help.

Thank you so much for your response. I had these photos backed up on iCloud but, had I not, its good to have an alternate solution as the one you suggested. Actually, I went to the Apple store today and yes, you are absolutely correct Restoring in iTunes will result in permanent loss of photos unless backed up somewhere such as iCloud or other solution. Well, what they did was restore the phone in itunes ( I did not have iTunes downloaded to my computer which is why it did not work when I went to do it myself, I needed to go to the iTunes site and go to the download iTunes button because my windows based HP laptop does not come with itunes already downloaded). This retoration process took a while and I was forced to upgrade to the latest 7.1 iOS software which I was not too happy about -sometimes you like the way things work now :-) Anyhow, they said this restoration request happens as a result of a software update (which I was NOT in progress of an update or doing an update) or sometimes when you remove the power cable too quickly from the iphone (which I do not recall doing this either but...). Since I had backed up on iCloud all of the photos were downloaded back on my iphone 4s. Best of all was that my phone was back up and runnning and there was NO CHARGE at the apple store for this service of restoring my phone. Well, I just wanted to share the results and I appreciate all the responses and support I received. Thank you kindly. -
I turned off my ipod and when i went to turn it back on again it showed the apple but thats all it shows. I can restart it by holding the power button and the home key but it never turns on.
Try connecting it to your iTunes library in Recovery Mode and restoring it. See this article for help on getting your iPod into Recovery Mode.

Hello, my phone was being slow so i turned it off. when i went to turn it back on it did the usually white apple logo but it has been on that logo for 15 or more minutes now what do i do?
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
