Apple store not willing to fix rMBP with a failing fan

Been pretty happy with the retina mbp overall but a few days ago one of the fans started making a lot more noise. Enough that it is noticible at idle and annoying under load. Given how often I'm running this with significicant cpu/gpu load, a bad fan while trivial is bloody annoying. Took it in to the apple store and was told as long as the fan is still spinning it is "working as designed" regardless of how it sounds, so they weren't willing to swap in a replacement. Frankly I never would have bothered with those guys but I can't find replacement parts online yet. Leaves me with few options. Before I tell american express to deny payment untill apple fixes it, I was hoping someone could either point me at a parts vendor or toward an apple resource that would actually be willing to deal with this.

Well that was a profound difference in service... Customer Relations had a *** response when I told him the apple store had regarded a loud fan as in spec as long as it was spinning. Set up a repair and was very pleasant to deal with.

There is NO International Warranty for the iPhone. Your best bet is to purchase one in Thailand. If you purchase a phone in France, you will NOT get warranty service on it in Thailand and will have to return it to France (or any EU country) for warranty service.

Verizon does not fix/repair/replace devices.
Apple provides all hardware support in the US.
Take it to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.
FYI, they do not fix devices, so backup your device prior to going to the store.

The steps detailed below can help stabilize your iPhone.
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

Hello Michael, today I received this error when submiting ios app to store using Application Loader. The message is "This bundle is invalid. Apple is not currently accepting applications built with this version of the Xcode".
