Apple Store Shipping
I ordered a case for my iphone which will be my like fifth but first one i have ordered online. i chose the one day shipping this morning at about 11 am EST(friday morning) and i expect it to come on saturday by 3pm EST then. well my receipt online says that i will get it on monday instead and the tracking info says that it had left someplace in pennsylvania at 6:27pm EST tonight (friday). i live in ohio so that is like not that far so im wondering if i will recieve my order tomorrow like i had hoped. how exactly does the one day shipping work? is saturday not a business day for them or something?
darn thats *** if i knew that i wouldnt have paid for that but what am i going to do now. well at least i know that now and thanks for the help.

The USA Apple store only only ships to the USA. Some other countries have their own online stores which ship to their countries. Go to the store web page and click on the change country link at the bottom to see if your country is one of them.

Apple Store Shipping "Old" ATV or "New" ATV
Just hoping someone knows whether the Apple Store Website is shipping the newest version of Apple TV (Take 2) or are they still shipping the older version. I'm hoping that the Apple Store IS shipping a version that you do not have to perform the software update.
Can anybody shed in light on this? The Apple web site is kinda vague. One page says "with free software update" you can rent movies - yet at another location on the web page is says "now" able to rent movies. I certainly know that you can with the update, I'm trying to determine if a new ATV from the Apple Store (web site, that is) will REQUIRE you to update.I'm the OP on this thread and I said I would report whether or not Apple shipped the Take 2. I ordered on Feb. 14 and received the Take 2.
I LOVE IT. This is the coolest Apple thing I've bought. The way in which it handles photos and music would make it worth it alone. However, I ordered a High Def. download movie (Hairspray) and the quality in video and audio was excellent. I would judge the HD to be somewhere significantly better than DVD but falling slightly short of 1080i I receive from Comcast. But, it is REAL good!
I don't understand the streaming versus copying protocols the device uses and there isn't much control over how it gets content to your TV and stereo, but somehow it does it and it's there, so who cares. I'm using it wirelessly and it hasn't jittered or stalled a single time. The HD movie download was ready to view in roughly 15 seconds!

Back when the Apple Store started, you could set up a variety of different shipping addresses and "name" them. This was very convenient if you wanted to ship gifts or the like. Now, if you designate a shipping address for a gift, it becomes your shipping address for everything you buy, whether it be an iPhone, a Nano or photos. And god forbid you don't realize it at the time you make the purchase! You either have to wait until the item has shipped and try to reroute it, or have the person who receives the item send it to you. What a pain!
This is a user to user forum. You do have the opportunity before you purchase to change the shipping address. For orders already placed, but not yet "shipped" according to http://www.apple.com/orderstatus/ contact the store and ask them to redirect specific web order numbers. One way around this might be to have multiple e-mail addresses for your accounts that you want to go to different locations. That way you can login the account you know is set to deliver to a specific address, instead of having to change the shipping address each time.

Hi. Every time I check the UK Apple Store shipping date for the Apple TV, it seems to be pushed back. Today, for example, the estimated shipping is 02 Apr, 2007. Why should it take so long to ship something they already have in stock?
I was also holding out to buy one from the store, but those guys have no idea when they're getting them.
Interestingly, when I went to the online store, I rang the number provided for sales enquiries - just to ask them what was going on. The guy I spoke to assured me that the fastest way to get one was through him - I placed my order Monday pm and it got shipped the next day.
The reason it takes so long is that it's shipped directly from China - which seems to imply that there is still no stock in this country. -
I bought an iPhone5 in the US Apple Store using "guest checkout".
Now I must CHANGE Ships TO adress, because I forgot apartment number in adress.
if I login with my Apple ID, it says that I don't have permission to open that Order.
Any ideias anyone?

My experience is with the iPhone 4S and the "new" iPad, both of which I ordered early on the opening pre-order day. In both cases the wording from Apple during the media event was "pre-orders will start on ABC date for delivery on XYZ date" which was also the same day they were to go on sale in stores. In both cases, the UPS truck rolled up earlier than usual XYZ date as promised to hand me my new iPhone/iPad. In both cases there were instances of confusion due to some pre-order confirmations stating incorrectly "SCHEDULED SHIPPING DATE: XYZ". In both cases that caused much fear, panick, and trepidation that fed upon itself as it permeated a widely scattered forum linked community of "adults" that seem to collectively revert to a state of childish impatience and ultimately child-like glee as they obsessively refresh their dedicated tracking browser window; become convinced that there is no hope of escaping the dread delayed shippment, and then finally receive their new toy exactly when they were supposed to. Not that I personally would ever succumb to that of course. Er uhm ... it's just what I've seen you know .. nothing I can really relate to.

I run a studio here in Atlanta. YEster day morning I called an Apple store to see if I could buy a copy of Mavericks. They forwarded me to Apple Care. Apple Care tech and myself could not find Mavericks anywhere on the app store. Avid does not support Yosemiteam yet, so I had no other choice but to purchase Mountain Lion. It has been over 24 hours waI ting on Apple to "ship" / email me a code to download from the app store. I read a lot of horror stories from when they rolled out Mountain Lion in 2012 about it taking 72 hours to receive the codes. I hope that maybe it doesn't take that l9ng this time because I am losing money by the minute. Microsoft would have had a code to me in minutes. This is just crazy. I have used Apple products for years, but this is very disappointing. Anyone else ordered Mountain Lion recently? How long dI'd it take Apple to "ship" you your code via email? Thanks
From what I've read on these forums over the past few months, it hasn't gotten any better. An electronic order from any company shouldn't take more than 12 hours for a system to respond to, but people have been waiting up to a week for their redemption code email to arrive. It makes no sense to me why it would take that long.

Maybe this is relevant: I bought iphoto from the German apple store but I now live in Italy. I have tried German credit card with German invoicing address and Italian shipping address. And I have tried Italian credit card with Italian invoicing address and Italian shipping address. what is the setting for the Print Products Store in the Advanced Tab of the iPhoto Preferences?
The country you select there has to match the billing address. And your billing address should match the country of your AppleID and credit card used with the AppleID.

Legality aside (I'm not a lawyer and have no opinion on the matter) in order to make a purchase of an iPhone 5 you would need to travel to a country where they are for sale and purchase it there. Be sure to get one that is officially unlocked or you would not be able to use it with your cell carrier. Be sure that your carrier supports use of the iPhone before you buy. Also note that the warranty of the iPhone is only valid in the country of purchase.
Appe does not ship outside of the countries where it sells the phones. -
Why aren't any iPhone 5's being shipped to Iowa Apple Store?
For the last two weeks I have been checking the Online Apple Store at 10:00pm daily for a Black 16G or 32G Verizon iPhone 5. The store made it sound like you just have to order the phone at 10:00pm and pick it up the next day. I even called one night before closing and asked if they would have any to sell (knowing that they probably couldn't say) but the guy said that he was pretty sure they had some so make sure you check at 10:00! I had my hopes up and have every night for the past two weeks and its getting kinda old! When I check availability, all of the other stores have gotten shipments of iPhone 5's at least once if not twice per week yet the Apple store in Iowa hasen't had any since the iPhone 5 got released. Anyone know why that is? I know the store might not be as big as the Mall of America but there are plenty of people waiting here so its a little frustrating when other stores are getting shippments of these phones twice a week and we haven't even gotten one yet.
I have been checking with my carrier and other stores such as Best Buy and they are still fulfilling pre-orders. I should have just ordered it through Apple or Verizon and had it shipped to me but after talking with an employee from my local Apple store, he made it sound like I could just order the phone during 10pm-4am and pick it up the next day so I wouldn't have to wait 3-4 weeks for it to be shipped to me. Thanks for the suggestions. I will probably just order it and wait the month to get it even though it will probably become available for in-store pickup the day I decide to order it for delivery..

I ordered it saturday CTO a 500GB HD.
3 Hr ago it said Prepared for Shipment.
At 1:10 am Central Time it was Shipped.
It has left FedEx Origin Facility Shanghai CN.
