Why isn't the updates working in the app. Store?

App Store>Purchased>Select "All"
Note: Look out for apps that have the word "Update"

No , when I launching the update it shows only loading on the top then stopped without showing the applications that need to be update ... Although before opening the apple Store it shows number "7" for the applications that need to be update

Apple Software Update Not Working

I cannot get Apple Software Update to work on my Windows XP Pro system. It simply says that new software was found but it did not specify which Apple software needs to be updated. I am using iTunes, QuickTime, and Safari. Any help appreciated!

The latest version numbers (at the time I'm making this post) are:
iTunes 10.6.3.25
QuickTime 7.7.2
Safari 5.1.7
If you're behind on any of those, try updating using installers downloaded from the Apple website:

Apple store widget not working....

the widget which lets you choose any apple store and then give you the daily schedual for its workshops is not working on my mac, ive reinstalled and and the same thing is happening, the widget shows up but when i have to choose my state/country and apple store from the drop down menu list, its not respoding when i click it and therefore nothing happens
any reasons why this is happening?

It looks like the whole world is having the same problem with this widget. I've had it since it was first released, and it worked great, but recently it stopped working. I thought maybe there was an updated version, so I downloaded it again and, like you, I can't even configure the new one. There are several different threads about the problem on this board, so I think it's a server problem on Apple's end, rather than us. Either that, or the widget is unable to function with the latest version(s) of the Mac OS. Either way, I expect when Apple realizes there is a problem they will fix it.
In the meantime, you can go to the Apple web site and find your local store and view their schedule that way. Not as convenient, but it will have to do for all of us...

App Store Update Not Working

With Mavericks installed on my Mac Pro I had been experiencing for a while erratic behaviour from the App Store and now it is not working.
When trying to update software it used to put up a message "Can't load data from the software update server" and then when I tried again it would download the software.
However now, it gives me that "Can't load data from the software update server" message and will not download software.
Currently I have three items in the Software Update section at the top. These are all Apple updates. Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 5.03. iTunes 11.1.4 and ProApps QuickTime codecs 1.0.4.
These will not update. If I click on Update All button at top the other buttons turn light, but no installation process takes place. When I check iTunes I see that it is still version 11.1.4.
In the Account Information panel I have clicked on the "Reset" button to reset all warnings for buying and downloading. However this does not make any difference. I have checked that all information in that panel is current.
Does anyone here have any suggestions?

As far as I know Apple do not offer free support aside from information at their website and the Apple Geniuses in their stores.

what is going on with the apple store, it is not working.

Three basic questions (which you may have covered with the customer service people already):
For your speed of movie download problem, how fast is your internet connection? The movie file is probably about 1.5 GB (much larger than the videos and short films you've downloaded before), which could take 20 minutes to download on a really fast connection (at a University), an hour or so on cable, 3+ hours on mid-range DSL, or a lot longer if your connection is slower than that. 8 hours does seem too long, but it's possible the problem is with your internet service, not iTunes. Your router is obviously not the problem if it still takes 8 hours after you've bypassed it.
For the iPod transferring problem, does your iPod have the latest software update (v.1.1.2, which came in the iPod Updater 2006-06-28 for Windows)? You can see what version you have by clicking on your iPod in iTunes and looking at the Summary, where it will tell you what version of the iPod software you've got and will let you download the new one if you need it.
And can you transfer music files to your iPod using iTunes 7 without problems? Can you transfer those old short films to it? Is it just the new movies that won't transfer?
You wouldn't be the only person to be having problems with iTunes 7 for Windows (I'm one of them, too), but it would be helpful to eliminate the basic stuff before giving up.

Apple Store downloads not working

I cannot download anything from the Apple Store onto my iPad MGKL2LL/A.
If its UPDATE or new app, when you go to download it goes back to UPDATE. Ive patched it to 8.2 that came out this morning. Anyone having this problem?>????

When I was in the Apple store on Friday with my iPad I asked the text the same question. we turned on my iPad and it allowed me to text text message anybody I wanted regardless of what the device. When I left apple store while I'm in the parking lot and I checked it again before I left the area and it still allowed me to text message anybody. Now it is not. App store updates not working

After updating to ios 7, and setting my app store updates to update automatically, and after they all did update, the long list of apps won't go away. They just sit there with an "open" button next to each one. I tried force quitting the app store, I tried signing out of the app store, I tried shutting down my phone, but the list just sits there. Any thoughts about this?

I cannot seem to update apps on my iPad. I have updates, when I open AppStore and click update all the installing bars appear and very quickly disappears. Doing individually does the same. Everything was working fine last week this issue appears to be new. anyone having the same issue and did anyone have a fix? Or is this a apple App Store server issue ?

Same issue here with my iPhone 4. Was working last week fine. Now I have the same symptoms as the original poster. Even in ITunes on my pc I had error updating apps (11111) error? I have tried resetting , logout login even change payment method no luck. Maybe my account is messed up? If my phone is out of service will apple care?

Apple Software Updates not working properly

Since I installed Yosemite OS X10.10 and then OS X10.10.1 I am having problems using Apple Updates. Some items install (usually not Apple products) other show up on the Items to Install list and never leave, although they also show up in the "Installed in the last 30days". These items quickly install or at least they say they are installed but they do not properly install and even though my computer shows that Safari 8.0.2 is installed, I am still running Safari 8.0. This is still going on and includes the most recent Security Update ver 1.0, Safari 8.0.2. I was able to of to the apple web-site and download HP Printer Software Update 3.0 and Digital Raw Compatibility Update ver 6.02 which were acting in the same manner as the Apple software and I think they updated from the direct download but I can't be sure because I don't know where these files lives. Obviously there is a corrupted file in the Updates software or somehow I there are read/write, plist or some other issues going on. I really don't know where to go or what to do with this issue. Even the Apple certified tech who I had look at this and other problems said it was out of his league.

Try resetting the App Store and Clearing Cookies.

TS1702 App Store Updates not working

My app store icon shows that there are 3 updates available, but when I click on updates within the App Store, nothing happens. I have turned phone on and off several times. Other Apple products in the house are working fine, so I don't think it's the App Store. Any ideas??

Restart fails, gives window with 'Apps have changed .... ' (or similar), offers show details button, nothing happens. Sound familiar?? Got anything ??

App store update not working! Fix?

Okay, I have a non-jailbroken iPod touch 4th generation with iOS 4.3.3. Today I was trying to update BATTLEFIELD: BAD COMPANY 2 to the latest version. I went on the updates tab of the AppStore, clicker battlefield and then tapped update. Nothing happened. I then tried updating dropbox and angry birds rio. Why will some apps update and others not. Will I have to restore? I tried turning it off and on again. Help!

Before restoring the iPod I would try resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

When I go to updates in the App Store app, and press the update button, it is now opening the app rather than updating it. If I search for the app and click the icon it installs/updates it.

Apps update not working. Was before but latest updates won't load to update.

I have updates waiting to be loaded but when I click on the update tab, it is frozen and won't even bring up the list of what needs updated. Just shows that I have 3 apps that need updates.Has been working until 2 days ago. Tried a restart but still the same issue.

You are not alone. these are just a few of the discussions going on right now about this. There must be a problem on Apple's end and they will have to fix it.
