Apple Store; Upgraded Versions Available?

Okay well as you may have seen in my other topic, I am planning on buy a Mac Mini, but I don't have a credit card to order it offline, so I have to go the the nearest apple store and buy it.
I want to get the combo drive one, (80GB HD, Wireless Keyboard/Mouse, 1GB RAM) will they have those models on shelf? I know the keyboard and stuff won't come with it and everything, but I can buy those seperatly. I just need to know if I will be able to walk into the store and find the "B" model available off shelf, or will I have to call them and order it before I go?

Why not just call the store and ask? Unless you tell us which store you were going to visit and WE called them and asked, I'm not sure how any of us would know what every store has in stock. Remember, we're just Mac users like yourself, none of us work for Apple. However, usually Apple stores do not have "stock" computers with upgraded RAM (1GB). They can sell & install a RAM upgrade for you, however.

No, it won't revert to the prior OS X but you you may have third party apps installed that were compatible with Lion that may not be compatible with Mountain Lion.

We have no way of knowing why Apple makes the decisions that they do and speculating is a violation of the terms of use of this forum.

How can I purchase Lion from Apple store? Options available are "send to friend" or "copy link"

I cannot make purchases from the Apple store. I want to upgrade to LION, but the only options I see are "Send to friend" or "Copy link".
I do not see any place to sign in--I may be blind--but the site isn't user friendly enough for me to find the sign in area.
Any suggestions as to where it may be or other options to be able to purchase from Apple?

Another iPhone 5 question. Apple store upgrade.

I currently have several unused upgrades on my Verizon account, I’m going to be buying an iphone 5 at an apple store on launch day. I’ve never purchased from any store other than a Verizon store before. I was just wondering if I might encounter any difficulties upgrading my phone at their store, I realize I'll no longer have my unlimited data grandfathered over. I was just wondering if anyone knows how the process works at the Apple store if I'm eligible for an upgrade.

You will not encounter any issues. Just make sure that your bill is up to date prior to going into the store.

Corp discount (FAN) customers and Apple Store upgrades?

Last year, for some reason anyone who had a corporate discount (FAN #) on their account could not upgrade at the Apple Store and had to do it through AT&T. I have not heard about any silly restrictions this year. Has anyone heard anything official?

Yes I'm having an issue trying to get a new 3Gs. The Apple store will only sell it at full price. When I called ATT (such dorks) they were an able to remove my FAN the account association which was blocking the purchase at the subsidized price. The apple store called ATT and after a half hour said I would have to try at the ATT store. Why I can't simply remove the FAN discount myself on their site I have no idea.

3gs disabled by Apple Store upgrading another unrelated persons account

The title pretty much says it. I went to sleep on 10/30 and woke to my 3gs phone with no service. After connecting with AT&T by landline today, 11/2 (thank goodness I had one), it turns out that according to their records, an Apple store employee upgraded my account to iPhone4 on 10/30 at 6pm. Nice, except I don't have a iPhone4 and I was no where near an Apple store on 10/30 at 6pm. Even better, in order to restore my phone service on my 3Gs I had to physically go to an AT&T store, present ID, account info and get a new SIM. Oh and best yet... my service account with AT&T now shows a new 2 year contract agreement. I am now bound to a contract that an Apple employee made by mistake. Even better yet, I have no idea where to lodge a complaint against this mysterious Apple employee. AT&T tells me this isn't supposed to happen because the Apple employee is supposed to verify the account name by valid identificationand this was obviously not done. So, anyone have an idea how I can lodge a complaint?

I did call the Manhattan Beach Apple store after my last post. I figured I had nothing to lose. I asked for a manager and explained my issue. He told me that since I say I was NOT in their store and had no paper contract or receipt there was no way he could help me. He referred me to 1-800-APL-Care iPhone technical support. After two service reps, I was referred to Alissa @ Apple (edited to add SHE IS FABULOUS). I repeated the problem again and after she conferred with her manager, she said she would call the Manhattan Beach Apple store, then AT&T and get back to me. She called me back about 30 minutes later and confirmed I had a case # with AT&T. She confirmed the point of sale was at that store and that an electronic service contract was signed there. Luckily I was texting my daughter so my AT&T account shows use in my city at the time the transaction was occurring in Manhattan Beach and I was @ work. She also spoke with a manager in their fraud department and requested my case be escalated because the problem orginated in an Apple store. She recommended I file a police report as well, telling me it would be needed so that Apple could look into potential fraud. Randy from AT&T also called me back and I asked if there were any calls/messages while my AT&T account was hijacked. He said no, which really made no sense to me because what good is an iPhone4 without service? So I wait until Randy from AT&T calls me next Wednesday with news about restoring my original AT&T service contract date. I'll probably never know but my best conspiracy theory guess is that someone wanted an subsidized iPhone4 they could jail break and the Apple employee just attached my account info randomly. I really hope this doesn't happen to someone else. Having to get cases/problem tickets with both sides has taken a bit over 7 hours of my time. That's 7 hours I could have used elsewhere. Can an Apple store upgrade a Macbook Pro's HD?

I have AppleCare, and i need a bigger hard disk for my Macbook Pro. I have to run Windows as well as OS X for certain classes I am taking.
Can an Applestore or a certified apple retailer/service provider install a bigger Hard disk, and if possibe to a data transfer?
Right now i have an 80 GB, and i need about 160-200, but 120 would be fine if thats all they have

I'm pretty sure they can. Call and ask to talk to an Genius. If the Apple Store won't do it make sure you take it a certified apple retailer that has a certified tech. Microcenter in my town does have a certified tech. It is my understanding that as long as the tech working on your computer is certified then it won't void your AppleCare.
I haven't read the AppleCare documentation in years so I could be wrong but that is what my understanding of how thing s work.

Apple does not have a trade-in or upgrade program. If you want a new iPhone, from Apple, you'll have to purchase such and either sell your 4S or give it away.
Apple has contracted with a third-party to run a recycle program, but you'll get far more money selling the phone yourself on eBay or similar:

I got shafted during the pre-order even though I ordered on time. I even got bamboozled at the Verizon store after waiting for four hours, and being third in line. At 8am we were all told that Apple sent them absolutely no iPhone 6 Pluses. Wonderful news right. After all this **, I was lucky enough to snag a white/silver 64GB Plus at the Apple store today. They got a late shipment, and received five more Plus models tonight. Needless to say I canceled my order with Verizon today. I would just monitor the Apple store closely for availability at local stores. That's what I did, and scored epically. In the end I got my iPhone 6+ on launch weekend...no thanks to Verizon.

I tried to buy an iPhone 6 Plus in both Verizon and Apple stores and was told that they didn't have any and did not know when they would receive more. I tried to order online at both the Apple and Verizon online stores but could not because my current Loyalty plan is not available for online orders. Next, I called Verizon to place the order with a live rep. After being sent to two different reps and waiting over an hour I finally got to someone that was able to take my order for exactly the color and storage size that I wanted. I received an email receipt confirming my order and keeping my current loyalty plan with the $200 trade in promotion for my old iPhone 5. Changing Apple Store Country

When i bought my iPhone, the Apple Store was not available under my Country Bahrain so I had to choose the nearest Country (i.e. Kuwait). Afterward, my Country Bahrain has been included but when I changed the Country to Bahrain I have experienced that the Applications' updates were not received by me that made me to change again the Country to Kuwait even though it is not my Country!!
Currently, I am experiencing difficulty in finding "Google Earth Application" in my Store and some friends told me it is because of your Country!!!
Could you please find a solution for me to change my Country without losing the Application updates?

I use apps that I have purchased in one country in another country every day.
Other folks report that when they first change the country and the bank card associated with their Apple ID that the previous content does not appear in the purchased pane. However, they report that when it is time to update an app, that if they go through the motions of purchasing the app again, in the final steps of the purchase the iTunes Store realizes that they have previously bought the app and redownloads it for free. This can only ocur if the app is available in the app store in the new country and only if redownloads of the content are allowed in that country.
Some Middle Eastern countries have disallowed certain iOS apps for use by their citizens and residents and so they are not available in that cuntry's store.

This has been asked and answered here dozens of times. The iTunes Store will come to other countries when Apple can work out all the multitude of licensing, copyright and royalty issues with all the various artists and record companies. When that will happen, no one outside of Apple can say and Apple won't until they're ready to officially announce. Anything anyone here could say would be just rumor and speculation, and neither are allowed in the Discussions.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
One thing is the memory, and another thing is the hard disk space. You are telling me that you have 200 GB of free space on the hard disk, but the App Store is telling you that you have to install 2 GB of memory or more on your Mac if you want to upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion.
First of all, open  > About this Mac > More Info, and copy "Model Identifier" here, so we can know what Mac you have got and how much memory you can install.
We recommend to buy the memory in OWC or Crucial (Crucial is cheaper and offers the same compatibility warranty as OWC) because you won't probably have any problem with the memory you buy there

I need to upgrade but don't know which version I have to get. Do I have to go through each lower version or can I go straight to 10.8 then get free MAverick upgrade? I live FAR from Apple store, so download upgrade is preferred. :)

Before installation you should back up all your data.
