Apple stores UK opening times for iPhone 4
I'm working on the release day of the iPhone and the Apple store is an hour away from where I live so I will just miss the normal closing time. Historically do Apple stores stay open later on iPhone launch days in the UK?
Any input great fully received!
Is there not an O2/T-Mobile/Orange/Vodafone/3UK/Carphone Warehouse/Phones4U shop nearer to you or have you pre-ordered from Apple and need to pick-up?
Last year I finished work, travelled back from Bristol to Gloucester, walked into the O2 shop and didn't have to queue for a minute to get my 3GS.

I am due for an upgrade on 5/23 and I am trying to find out if I can get my phone through the Apple store? I have an iphone 4 and am hoping to upgrade to a iphone5. Just want to make sure if the price is the same as if I went to a Verizon store to upgrad.
I don't believe they were looking for a trade in, they are due for a subsidized Verizon upgrade. I think the bringing the iPhone 4 was for setting it up and transferring as Verizon does not require you to swap your previous phone for an upgrade.

My charger broke so I gave my sister the charger, and my iPod touch for proof. She took it to the apple store and traded it for an iPhone 5c. I was wondering if apple can do something for me so I could get my ipod back?
I have no idea what you meant by giving your sister your "iPod touch for proof". Proof of what?
The only way she could have traded it was recycling it for 10% off the cost of a new device but the Apple Store doesn't do this as far as I know for iPhones. You could take the receipt for your iPhone to the Apple Store and show it to the manager but you really need to solve this within your family. -
i dont have an insurance on my iphone , but i heard from my friends that the apple store cover my phone for an year, is that true?
The iPhone comes with a 1 year warranty.
This covers defects but not accidental damage.

I have pages 4.1 on my iMac and they tell me I have to download Pages for my iPhone to store in iCloud, etc; but when I go to the Apple Store to download via my iPhone it only gives me a Pages 1.6 or something like the version. ?
Thank you. So it is ok to download the different number. Also, someone just emailed me saying that iCloud is really not a storage. Does one have to get SugarSync, etc. then?

The UAE prohibits FaceTime. No, you cannot purchase FaceTime on any Apple gear in UAE.

app store wont open in new iPhone 4S. Just bought it this afternoon.
Only get a blank page.????We've had the same problem with our iPhone 4s too. I've had mine for a couple of months and just since Christmas have noticed that it sometimes won't load either.....just a nice white screen. My husband on the other hand just got an identical phone to me a few days ago and it's even worse for getting on to the app site. What is going on? Even my son's iPod since Christmas has had difficulty getting on to it too.
I was told that it's basically an overload on the Apple server....understandable but where is the fix for this problem? I'm looking through all forums and can't find anything. I'm almost thinking of calling Customer Service again, but I've got other things to be doing than trying to troubleshoot this issue.

Apple removed the ability to disable 3G on the iPhone 4S. iOS 5.1 beta has added the switch back. Whether we'll see it in the final release is unknown. We'll just have to wait & see.

How do i retreave movies i have purchased and not yet watched that disappear.Had you started to watch it? Once you press play you only have 24 or 48 hours (depending on location) to finish. Also, if you watch anything else or turn off the ATV the rental will be flushed and need to be reloaded. Go to the settings, iTunes store, check for rentals in that case.

App Store says update available for iPhone app. Try to install and get the message "the item you are trying to buy is no longer available" for three apps in a row. Even when I go to the specific app and press Update, the update begins to install then aborts with this error message.iPhone 3GS running iOS 5.1.1. Also very long delay typing each keystroke in this message.
That error message is usually indicative of a problem with the App Store. If you look through the forums, you'll see that a number of people are experiencing the problem. Try again tomorrow.
