Apple sync Notifier: Procedure Entry point "sqlite3_Wal_checkpoint" not found.  Result: no sync with Itunes possible

Hello eveybody
By booting my comp (Windows XP SP3) I get followingmsg :”  Apple sync Notifier:Procedure Entry point “sqlite3_Wal_ checkpoint” has not been found in “SQLite3.dll”“.
Result: sync with Itunes & Iphone4 blocks with msg:  "Error by saving your identificationinformations on this comp. Try to repair with system/software". Which I didof course in vain. Pls what to do?
Tks so much for your help

Update:  Half problem soved
1)     I run XP SP3 32 bits
2)     the Entry point error does NOT goaway after I uninstalled and reinstalled Itunes
3)     the fix of abbasfromdubai & Tit4tat corrected the boot up msg “Entrypointnot found”
For 32 bits XP do following:
copy (do not move) the file” SQLite3.dll” from C:\ProgramFiles <Programme in german>\Common Files <Gemeinsame Dateien inrgerman >\Apple\Apple Application Support folder to C:\Program)\Common Files \Apple\MobileDevice Support folder
Thanks to both of them
4)     But after patching I still have problem nr 2:
During sync process msg "Error by saving your identification informationson this comp. Try to repair with system/software". Tried to repair afterpatch above of course doesn’t work
Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem  ?

  • Getting a 'Procedure entry point ons_subscriber_cancelcallback' - not found error on 2.121.1.0

After installing 12C ODP.NET client with the xcopy deployment, my application gets a
"Procedure entry point ons_subscriber_cancelcallback could not be located in the dynamic link library oraons.dll" while createing a new oracleConnection Object.
Registry and GAC looks clean. I've installed the new client to a new location.
Tried with the old 2.112.3.0 odp.net driver - Recompiling using the 2.121.1.0 driver did not help.
    Any Ideas?

I believe the root cause of this problem is the Oracle xcopy install directory was not added to the Windows system PATH. This is described in step 4 of the xcopy README install instructions.
    ====================
    4. Add the install directory and install directory's bin subdirectory to the system PATH environment variable before any other Oracle directories. Otherwise, the products that are installed may not work properly as it will not be able to load the necessary DLLs. for example, if c:\oracle was provided as the install directory, add c:\oracle and c:\oracle\bin to the system PATH.

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Restart the programme all should be well
In case that your OS is (64 bit)
    1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
    2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
    3. Now paste it in the folder  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support

Try removing iTunes & all of its components, as described here, then reinstalling:

Entry point errors can often be fixed by deleting the offending dll, then repairing the component it is part of. If that doesn't help read on...
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
    iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
    iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
    iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

Please help...need to get newest update so I can activate my new IPhone4. Thanks

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

the procedure entry point Sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library SQLite3.dll.   what does this mean?????

Hi Vas, I'll do my best.
I don't think the current error message you're getting is related to the previous one.
I have researched a little bit on the error message you're getting, and it seems to be one that has been going on for a few years, and from what I can see it relates to the iPod Photo cache folder.
It also appears that the actual phone does sync even though you still get this message.
I suggest you have a look at these webpages for further information
