Apple TV 2 Getting Lag

Recently our Apple TV has been lagging. It will take it several seconds after hitting a button on the remote to make it do the action on the TV. Any ideas?

have you tried to connect both devices by ethernet cables rather then wifi to the router
if it works aOK then you know it's because of the poor signal quality or interference of your wifi network

Apple loops not getting saved with current projects tempo

I can't seem to make an apple loop that would get saved with the current projects tempo....i recorded a single bar midi drum loop with 130 as project tempo but when i save it as an apple loop it gets saved with a tempo of 92bpm. strange thing is when i drag the same loop back on a instrument track it plays at the current tempo i.e., at 130bpm but if i drag it to an audio track it plays at 92bpm... really stuck here....any help would be greatly appreciated..thanx..

ok now i have got half of the problem solved....i had left the "follow tempo" region parameter ticked....so now when i unticked it the loop follows the project tempo....but i dont understand y does the loops get saved with a tempo of 92 whereas the project tempo is 130bpm....moreover when i audition these loops they don't really LOOP while playin back....

Getting lag after change new mother board

i tried everything, installed my windows 5 times, upgrade all drivers, setting bios
but i still getting lag especially when playing warcraft tft game, all starts when i change my mobo ms-7313 v
please help me ,im getting stress b'coz of it .

When I try to uninstall apple updater I get a message that says " The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." I dont understand this. How can I finish uninstalling the apple update program?

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

HT5621 Trying to change the email on my apple ID but get error message that the email I want to change to is already used for notifications. What do I do?

I'm trying to change email address on my Apple ID since the email registered for the account has been hacked and I can't access it anymore. The email I want to change to is connected to another Apple ID I created about 4 years ago, though I successfully changed the email on that account as well. I'm not really sure what this means or how I can fix this. The email address is connected to my Ipad and Iphone for the email app, can that have anything to do with it?
If it makes any difference, I updated both my Ipad3 and Iphone4 to ios 7 today. I'm trying to change from my Macbook air though.
Please advise, would really appreciate a reply ASAP.

It means exactly what it says... The email Address is in Use. You cannot re-use it.

All apps are forever tied to the Apple ID that bought them. To stop your id from popping up, you need to delete the apps on his phone, and then repurchase them under his account.

Your brother may have downloaded and installed something known as "adware." To see if that's the case, visit thomas_r.'s The Safe Mac website and look at the Adware Removal Guide page. You may also be able to use his Adware Removal Tool to get rid of the junk.

Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.

You can use the same account on both - I use the same account on my devices. Generally it's best to have just the one account, as all purchases from the store are tied to the account that buys it - so any iTunes music that you have/will buy will be tied to that account.

Hi, I'm a pc user and am trying to access an ical via the icloud. This ical houses information about work etc and it is quite important that I can gain access to it. To that end I have created an apple id and password and downloaded the icloud for the pc. However , when I get to the sign in page and use my apple id, I get a message to the effect that my apple id is ok, but its no good for an icloud account/ or I dont have an icloud account. You must create the account using an Apple device, a Mac (Lion or greater) or an IOS device (IOS5 or greater). Having done that you will be able to sign in from your Windows machine.
FYI, iCal is an application that can display calendars from iCloud (and others) it is not a calendar itself, merely a calendar client. In Windows Outlook is the calendar client.

Hi Everyone,
hope this message finds you all in time. The recent Apple TV update 5.1 is terrible. Apple knows it is which is why (thankfully for some relentless user -I have no idea who but I believe it was under threat) they have allowed to sign 5.0.2 again which means you can downgrade your Apple TV 2 and 3 to a 5.0.2 version via iTunes. Who knows how long they will keep the window open but I have downgraded my ATV early this morning. I couldn't post this earlier because I was out all day but I am doing it now.
Here's how to do it:
1) Connect your ATV to your computer via a Mini USB (not included with ATV but included with many other electronic devices) - in order for your ATV to appear in iTunes you must FIRST plug the USB cable to your computer and ATV and only THEN plug the power cable.
2) Download your ipsw restore file from Apple.
5.0.2 (ATV 2): AppleTV2,1_5.0.2_9B830_Restore.ipsw
5.0.2 (ATV 3): AppleTV3,1_5.0.2_9B830_Restore.ipsw
3) In iTunes select yout ATV, hold SHIFT and click on Restore
4) Find and choose the downloaded IPSW file in the Open Dialog Box and hit Next
5) As long as Apple still signs that version the Restore process will begin and will take a few minutes to complete.
