Apple TV 3 can't recognize my keyboard

Hi,
I have iMac and I try use my keyboard for apple TV 3. Apple TV 3 can't recognize my keyboard when I try found my keyboard in Apple TV 3 Bluetooth settings. Do anybody knows what is problem? I try disconnect keyboard from iMac but when I turn on  keyboard it automatically connect to iMac because iMac is in Bluetooth range of keyboard when it is in my  living room (where is my apple tv). Also, I try shut down iMac but without success.
My Bluetooth settings can't recognize keyboard and doesn't show list. I can see only loading icon.
I buy my apple TV few days ago and did update software yesterday to 6,2 version I think.
Thank you.

And How it can be properly disconnected via bluetooth prefs? I try disconnect, but when I press any key on keyboard It immediatly connect to mac. I found in bluetooth prefs remove function to remove keyboard from bluetooth list.

    Hi ,
Do you remember if you  have installed some software prior to this issue?
    Delete programs you never use.
If the issue reoccurs in Clean Boot, but works fine in Safe Mode, the cause may be the disabled hardware drivers. You may narrow down the
    causes in Device Clean Boot.
    Device Clean Boot
    =================
    1. Click Start, type "devmgmt.msc" (without quotation marks) in the Search bar and press Enter.
    2. Expand "Sound, video and game controllers".
    3. Right click on your sound card and then click "Properties.
    4. In the dropdown menu of Device Usage, please choose "Do not use this device (disable)" and click OK.
    5. Please use the same method to disable other dubious hardware such as: internal modem, network card and CD-R drive. Please note some devices
such as video adapter are not available to be disabled.

  • Computer can't recognize wireless keyboard

When I turned the computer on today, bluetooth just suddenly won't recognize my keyboard.
I tried Bluetooth Keyboard Assistant, and it says "No keyboards have been found, please make sure keyboard is "discoverable".
I just replace the battery, nothing changed.
I restarted and restarted and kept getting the same results (the machine searches for the device and returns with a "no keyboards found, make sure keyboard is discoverable".
This Mac and keyboard is new, just over 2 months old.
My bluetooth mouse is working fine and appears on the bluetooth devices list.
Just somehow the keyboard mysteriously disappeared.
Anyone have a clue what's happening?

I tried that. If I repeat this process enough sometimes bluetooth finds it, but when I type the passkey no., it cycles through the same "please make sure your keyboard is discoverable".
I'm searching the forums and it appears this Mac wireless keyboard/bluetooth is a chronic problem.
Indeed, this Mac bluetooth is *t .

  • The "Apple ID Password box along with the keyboard keeps popping up on my iPad and stays there.  I have changed my email address on my iMac but my old one still remains on the iPad.  Also changed password.  Nothing works!  I can't use the iPad like this!

The "apple ID Password" box along with the keyboard pops up when I turn the iPad on and it stays there.  I have changed my email address on my iMac and also changed my password.  The old email address is still on the iPad.  Anyway, I can't use the iPad because can't get the apple id password box to go away.  Thanks for any help!

This is an older photo but the sleep and home buttons are still in the same place on all iPads. The home button is the round button at the bottom of the iPad and the sleep button is also called the on/off button and it is at the top right corner of the iPad.

  • I have a macbook and when I power it on and then select myself as a user...It won't power up. It stays in the white screen with the apple logo. I am online currently under 'guest user'. Is there anything I can do from the keyboard to fix this??? Help!!!

Could you specify the model of MacBook and the OS X it's running, please? Some of the advice or references vary along with the system, so this could be helpful to formulate a reply. I've never used a Guest User selection, but do have more than one User.
If the computer does not have an optical drive, you may be able to boot it into a recovery disk mode or something; in an attempt to see what is wrong and maybe fix it.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • Can GB08 recognize Specific Midi keyboard voices (Roland XP-10)

    Hello all,
After searching the posts, I think I know the answer, but would just like to verify (set-up listed below):
Can GB08 recognize my specific keyboard (Roland XP-10) and its unique voices? I can play and recieve midi properly, but am limited to GB's voices. I specifically miss my fiddle...I guess I could simply play into a real instrument track through the line-in, but that kind of defeats the whole midi idea.
    Christoph wrote in another post:
"No, GB doesn't know these synths, would be asking a bit too much. So you'll have to find the sounds using GB's internal synths or any external instruments (AUs or soundfonts) that you can find."
I have tried manipulating the instrument generator, but to no avail. I am still perusing the manual and discussions in hopes of finding a "duh" revelation, but any light you folks could share would be greatly appreciated. I am still trying to learn about AUs and soundfonts. I'm an old musician, but a GB newbie (was using cakewalk before).
    Thanks in advance,

There is no need for a mouse with an ATV.

I bought this very nice iMac. The first time I ever use a Apple product. Can someone please tell me where the delete key is on the keyboard. I cannot think for one moment that Apple did not provide for such a key. Please help.

The delete key does a backward delete because it is the natural way to delete while typing. May not be to you and the millions of youngsters who grew up with windows computers. When you are typing and want to delete that which you just typed you are already at the end and you delete back to where you want to re-type. When you go back to a document and want to delete a selection, you have to go to the end of the selection instead of the beginning. it's just the way its always been done on macs. it takes some getting use to.
If you select text to be deleted with your mouse then the delete key deletes the selected text. same for either delete key method.
It is not convenient when you tab to fields in a form. That why fn-delete does a forward delete.
Macs have a couple of keyboards. The small "wireless keyboard" only has the (backward) delete (fn-delete forward). The larger "Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad" has both a Delete (backwards) key beside the = abd it has the "delete >" key in the groups with fn, home, end, Pg up and Pg dn. This keyboard is best for users who have switched from windows or are familiar with the windows forward delete.

  • Hi , if I bought a macbook through the apple store, can I make the keyboard included arabic

    hi there !
i wanna buy a refurbished macbook pro from the apple store online
can aplle store make the keyboard includes 2 langauges (English , Arabic) ??
and the free shipping , does it include the over seas ( to Saudi Arabia ) ??
    thank u

i live in saudi arabia..and got a mbp from us....
    well you have multiple options..
    1. get a mbp from apple store and use the iwasel service from saudi post to get it to you. many times apple store doesnot accept saudi credit cards. if you do..then  you could add some good quality keyboard stickers to the keys to make them arabic.
2.get a mbp in saudi from www.i-weaver.com they provide them with arabic keyboards.

  • TS2570 iMac does not recognize wifi keyboard and track pad... cursor stays in top left corner under apple ?...

iMac does not recognize wifi keyboard and track pad... cursor stays in top left corner under apple ?...

    Phillip,
I had this problem recently with a 3-year old Mac Pro intel, which was eventually replaced by Apple due to myriad other problems. When the frozen mouse happened, there was nothing I could do. Very frustrating to have the screen boot and the cursor is up there stuck, on the top left corner of the screen. Frozen. I called support several times. They were amazed. At one point they had me buy a cheap USB mouse (I was using a wireless mouse from Logitech and they thought there might be some kind of conflict). The USB mouse didn't work, either. Neither did an Apple mouse when I went out to buy one.
I ended up driving 70 miles to take the Mac to an Apple Store. I think they reinstalled the (Leopard) system in some secret way, because when the mouse was frozen so was everything else and I couldn't open the disk drive to put the OSX disk in there.
Why I'm here right now is that the same thing happened today with my NEW 3-month-old REPLACEMENT MAC PRO using its brand new wireless mouse, and I was hoping to find some insight. Again, a frozen cursor after the boot. Same top-left corner of the screen. Unlike you, when I click the mouse nothing happens -- no drop down.
Luckily, when I hard-rebooted by holding the button in, the mouse cursor came back. This time. Now I am afraid to turn my computer off. Been there done that before. Anyone have suggestions?
    Thanks in advance.
