Apple TV and my MacBook Pro. TV shows I bought from iTunes only play for 1:50 min on Apple TV. However, the same shows play full length from my iPad. What's the cause?

The TV series that I purchased from iTunes and have on my MacBook Pro will play on Apple TV for a short 2 minutes and then everything ends. However, the same shows play full length on Apple TV if I use my iPan. Does anyone know the cause of this?

You can use iTunes Match to access your entire iTunes library on your computer and iOS devices.
You can access your iTunes library on your Apple TV using Home Sharing, which is why it only works when your MacBook is turned on.

The first thing to try is changing your DNS settings - and for that you need to open System Preferences, then the
Network section.
In Network - click on Advanced - then the DNS tab
under DNS servers - use the + button to enter two extra lines
either these, from google dns
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
or from OpenDNS
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
then click OK & then 'Apply'
You would need to do that seperately for the Cable (Ethernet) settings and Wireless (Airport)

I recently changed my email address and want to change my Apple ID account to match. I just got a MacBook Pro 10.8.2. but facebook only works for about 3 minutes and then stops loading.

My computer is completely new with nothing on it at all. It was bought in the USA but i am living and using the computer in Israel, i dont know if that matters. every other website that i have gone on works just fine, facebook is the only one that stops loading after a few minutes. Try going to Starbucks and connect thru their WiFi and see if you experience same issue. If not, it may be your wireless router not compatible to wireless-N built in the macbook pro. It could be your router cycling on and off its connection without even noticing it. Do you have any other wifi at home that doesn't experience this issue?

Thanks, but there has to be someway through ITunes or something to make this not happen. It used to not do this so something with an update or something must have changed a setting somewhere. Anyone else have any ideas?

On your Apple TV, go to Settings > Region Format and make sure it is set to the same country as your iTunes Store account:
Once you have made sure that is correct, walk over to your MacBook and open "Apple menu > System Preferences > Sharing" You will see a computer name at the top. Change it to something else. Doesn't matter what, as long as you don't include characters like ^*)@^$ and such.
Restart your computer after closing System Preferences.

If you already changed System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Allow apps downloaded from: to Anywhere then issue is not Gatekeeper which is the built-in service that prevents apps from unidentified developers from being executed. It's possible that you need to either reinstall the App or maybe is simply not compatible with Mavericks yet. In any event you should be able to at-least look for a crash log for more information.

I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. Providing specifics on all the ways to do this will take more time than I am willing to spend here these days. You can do some of this with Home Sharing. You can transfer the entire library from one computer to another, If you do that you can delete what you don't want from the transferred library.
Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the option (alt) key (shift on Windows) so you get a prompt to select a library, then guide it to the 'iTunes Library.itl' file in the moved iTunes folder. If you put the copied iTunes folder in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there. (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.)
You do not want to use a new AppleID. Change the AppleID on the new phone to the old ID. Purchases made with one AppleID cannot be transferred to a different one and it will be a royal pain to manage two Apple IDs.
Change iTunes Store account on an iOS device - Log out of your current account with Settings.app > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) > tap on your AppleID. Log in with a different account. The MacBook connects tot eh AppleTV wirelessly.
