Apple TV bought in Canada won't work in USA. Why?

I bought an Apple TV and used it for 6 months in Canada. When I moved to Phoenix, Az and turned it on the Apple TV won't stream Movies or TV Shows (also, netflix won't work). What can I do in settings to fix this?

Settings>General>iTunes Store> Location, not sure for netflix. It should still work though for stuff you already own. Worth a quick look as a first check.

Here’s what you need to do to turn on AirPlay Mirroring on your iPad 2:
– Have iOS 5 installed on your iPad 2
– Make sure your Apple TV software is up-to-date. You can check for updates on the Apple TV by going to Settings > General > Update Software.
– Have your TV turned with Apple TV active and showing.
– Double-tap the home button on the iPad to bring up the Multitasking Bar.
– Swipe to move to the left of the Multitasking Bar, so you can see the set of controls just to the left of the volume adjustment slider.
– The button just to the right of the Fast Forward button – the one that has a rectangle with a solid, upward-facing arrow in it – is the AirPlay button. Tap to switch from iPad to Apple TV.
– Once you do that you’ll see the Mirroring section appear just below the entry for Apple TV. Just tap to turn that On, and the iPad 2 will immediately begin mirroring to your TV screen.

HT5538 I changed my apple ID and now iMessages won't work

I recently changed my Apple ID and now iMessages won't work on my Mac. It will still work on my iPhone and iPad, but they will not communicate with my Mac. None of the messages I try to send from my Mac will go through.

This is a step up from the previous suggestion.
Make the Finder the "front" app.
Use the Go Menu whilst holding down the ALT key.
Select the Library that appears in the Menu list.
Navigate to Preferences.
Find com.apple.imservice.imesssages.plist and drag it to the Trash.
Restart the app.
You will most likely have to re-enter the Apple ID
If that does not work delete the com.apple.imessages.bag.plist (this one holds the server it should be trying rather).
Again Restart the app.

Hey there, wondering if any one can help me out and tell me why none of these keys are working?
i've tried everything is feels.
i've tried going into internation/imput menu...etc
checked the number lock
check the caps lock.
checked the keyboard settings...
restarted....
sometimes even some of the letter keys won't work..
anyone got any helpfull hints please.

The Apple Store was an interesting experience - in Spain, that is. It took three people to solve my problem. The first problem was that they were unable to find a mains cable for a Mac Mini - in fact they viewed the Mac Mini as though it had just dropped from an alien spaceship. I was then given an appointment in the Genius Bar and passed to a person who purported to know about them and who spoke tolerable English (better than my Spanish!). We did communicate and he did understand my problem but, after spending fifteen minutes looking for suitable gear in the form of a screen, a mouse and a keyboard (wouldn't you think this would all be ready to go?), he set it all up and felt that it might be the hard drive or a RAM problem. I explained that it had been working perfectly just twelve hours ago until I made my foolish boob. He then called a colleague who spoke excellent English, looked at the scree, listened to the HD, unplugged everything, unscrewed the base, took out a memory card, put back the base, plugged everything in and off we went. That took two minutes and now I;ve seen him do it, I would have a go if the same problem arose again. Just be careful taking off and replacing the base and remember to replace the ram after you've got it working.

I bought my iphone in India less than 2 months ago - with airtel.. I've just moved to Hong Kong and it wont work here coz its locked to india networks
i called apple HK and they said that my service provider in india - airtel, my cell no is 98182 84312 - will be able to unlock it but airtel can't do it

Airtel in India can provide authorized unlocking, according to this linked kbase article. They are the only ones who can do that (Apple cannot, no one in HK can). You need to try contacting Airtel again.

Iphone 6 while plugged in during night lit up, screen turned red then green then black. Apple icon comes on and won't work for 15 minutes

IiPhone 6 plugged in to recharge, lit up, screen turned red, ro green to black and could not get it to work. Pushing buttons cause Apple icon to appear, then did the color thing again. After unplugging for 15 minutes, it seemed to reboot and work fine all day. This occured 2 at hotels on 2 different days. Anybody have this occur and know what the deal Is. Working fine now.

You may need to change the plug but it will work just fine. Some features may be different because of the differences between the iTunes store in each location.

I have updated my iPad and Apple TV and now AirPlay won't work!

I've had my Apple TV for a few months, lately my iPhone, Apple TV, and BOTH my iPads updated to 6.1 os. Now AirPlay doesn't work from any of my devices. I have restarted all of them, and even reset the Apple TV but still no joy. I can't think of anything left to try. Any ideas apart from loosing the plot???

1. There is no 6.1 update for ATV. So what did you update?
2. Have you checked to see if AirPlay is still enabled on ATV, the iPhone, and iPad? Did you check to see if your AirPlay id and password where still entered into your iPhone and iPad?

Sorry to ask but... are you absolutely certain you have entered your Apple ID and account password correctly?
If you use the same Apple ID for iCloud and the iTunes store, see if you are able to log into the iTunes store from either your computer or your iPod.

IPhone 6 Canada Rogers will work on USA T Mobile LTE?

I have an iPhone 6 with Rogers in Canada. I'm moving to the States in a few months and I would like to know if I will be able to use my iPhone 6 with T Mobile's LTE service.
Rogers said they will unlock my phone for INTERNATIONAL use. But I'm more concerned if the phone will work on T Mobile's LTE.

It won't do anything when clicked. No error, no nothing. The URL is good and works in my browser. I've tried the "Current, New and Parent" settings also, but no difference.
The published files are located on our LAN. Could that be an issue?

Just found something interesting.
We have a link from our intranet to the CP page I made on our LAN. The troublesome button link is on the CP page.
When I launch the CP page from our intranet, the path is this:
\\accounts\dars\ORPPA\Training and Program Development\Online Training\homepage.htm
If I open that exact same file in the same location, but go directly to the LAN instead of thru the intranet the path is this:
S:\ORPPA\Training and Program Development\Online Training\homepage.htm
It's a network location that is mapped on my pc.
My button link does not work when using the first method, but it DOES work when using the second method. Makes no sense to me because once you're at the CP page, you are viewing the same file in the same location, only the route that you took to get there is different.
Ideas?
