Apple TV can't access my iTunes library anymore

All of a sudden my Apple TV cannot sign into iTunes anymore. I can sign in on my Mac so no problem with the account/password.
I have tried signing out and in again on the Apple TV but it just won't work.
Software is latest version, and I know it is connected to the internet because I can watch previews etc.
I can only imagine that there is some problem on the iTunes server, or something is wrong with my account.
Is anyone else having trouble signing in or is it just me ?

All
I'm having similar problems & I have followed all the advice on apple support
The software versions on my itunes and apple tv is up to date
Both devices are connected to my wifi
Airplay is working from other devices on my apple tv
my home sharing is turned on, on both devices
I have reset my apple tv
I don't have a firewall on my PC
Does anyone have any further advice. Very frustating

Happy to help you :) go to seeing and than general or settings than iTunes store it's for sure in settings but you may want to set it up on your computer in which case it's (windows) edit > preferences (Mac) iTunes preferences

Can I access my itunes library through my parents apple tv? I would like to show them photos from my library.

Not unless the iTunes library is on your parent's local network.
If it is, then configure iTunes and AppleTV to use the same Home Sharing Credentials, and set up Photos to Share under the iTunes Advanced tab.

  • I can only access the itunes library if i plug in my external hard drive.  is there a way to add the music to my internal hard drive?

i can only access my itunes library if i plug in my external hard drive.  how do i find where the itunes songs are on my external hard drive and how do i move them to my computers internal hard drive so i no longer have to have the external hard drive plugged in?

When the drive is connected, use the Organize Library command in iTunes. If the entire library is located there, drag it to the internal drive, launch iTunes with the Shift key held down, and point it there.

  • Can I access my Itunes library from my brother's computer so I can download my library to his new Ipod/  I have almost all CD loaded music and little purchased music.  THANK YOU!!!

Can I access my Itunes Library from my brother's computer via the internet so I can download my Library to his new IPod?  Thanks!

The songs that you want to sync need to be on the "local" storage of the computer being used to sync the iPod.

  • How can i access my itunes library in a different computer?

I have my itunes library in my laptop at home and sometimes during my spare time in the office I want to access my library or download more songs to my library. How can I do that?

your personal library is not saved to the internet, but your itunes account is, so you can download songs on different computers through your accound
also, if you want all of your itunes library on both comps, then just copy them using some kind of connection.
    And ipod works best

  • Upgraded C:drive and can't access old iTunes library

A couple of months ago I upgraded my C:drive. It took me a couple of days to do so. Well within that time period I lost my iTouch (4th gen.) I finally got a new iTouch. Here's my problem, when I re-established my iTunes account, it recognized my old iTouch serial number, so why can't I access my old library? I still have the old C:drive if that is relevant. So how do I retrieve my old iTunes library?

You don't say how you are accessing your old drive, but presumably you have it installed in your PC or you have put it in a usb drive enclosure.
Assuming that you have installed iTunes on the new system drive and you haven't added music yet, what you need to do is to drag the new iTunes folder out of Music onto your desk top. Then copy the iTunes folder from Music on the old drive into Music on the new drive so that it replaces the one you dragged out.
You might need to check the permissions on the iTunes fodler to ensure your account and SYSTEM have full control.
This method assumes you had a default installation of iTunes on the old drive, that is to say all your music files were in the iTunes Media folder. If you had something different, things are more complicated.

  • I Can't access the itunes store anymore

I used to be able to access the itunes store before but now i cant. I dont know what happened but it just loads almost halfway and then just stops and I dont know what to do. I havent been able to access since the beginning of october and it kind of sukks to have to buy everything on my ipod. Can someone please help me and tell me how to fix the problem? I've already tried all of the other things that have been reccommended to me. If it helps I have an hp notebook laptop pavilion g series , Its not the best but it works for school and stuff.

You've posted in the iTunes for Windows area, Old Bean. You'll usually be more likely to get help if you ask in the iTunes for Mac area.
But answering quickly, all you need to do is update to Mac OS X 10.5.8, available either via Software Update or as a standalone download (you'll want the Combo update). Then you should be able to install Safari 4.

  • Can I access my ITunes library on my mothers computer and copies on both?

I downloaded ITunes on her computer, and I authorized it, signed in, but I don't know how to import my library thats on the other computer in the house. and I want to be able to access everything on both. How do I go about doing that??

Your post is a little confusing. Do you mean you can't find your library? Or you can't find your playlists? If all your music is on your original computer, you won't be able to access it from your laptop any more than you can access anything else on the hard drive of your original computer.
